üTurn on the device
OPERATION INSTRUCTION
Press and hold the power button for 3s until the LCD display light
up with two“beep”, insert the probes into the probe socket.
üPair with smartphone
•Open your phone GPS and Bluetooth first before using the APP.
•Make sure you have done the first step, and then open the Grill 5.0
APP, turn on the “Hcitool scan” and wait to find the device, and then
pair with your phone.
Notice:
1.You must make sure GPS and Bluetooth is opening. Because it will affect the
connection.
2.Our App can not connect 2 or more phone at the same time.
3. If your phone ask you PIN number, please see more details on Page 5.
4. You can scan the QR code to watch the video on how to connect and set up the
App.
üQuick Start
•Insert the probes into the food, select the corresponding food,
and target temperature on the APP according to your needs.
•When the target temperature is reached, both the device and the
smartphone will alarm. Short press the button or click“OK” on
the smartphone, the alarm will stop.
•When setting the temperature range, if the current
temperature is lower or higher than the temperature range,
the device and smartphone will alarm. Even you stop the
alarm, the display still continues to flash.
üPower OFF
Press and hold for 3s. The device will power off with
two“beep”.

ØClick “OK/All Alarm”on smartphone is close the current alarm
or close all the current alarms.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Q：What is the PIN code? Why can’t connect to the APP?
A：You can't connect devices on your phone's system via PIN. App
download and use requires acceptance of location terms. Connection method
is to open the device first, then open the "Grill 5.0" App on the phone, search
through the search page, click "hcitool scan", and search for "Grill BT5.0" in
a few seconds, click to enter use.
Q:Why not wireless?
A：Wireless refers to the Bluetooth connection between the device and the
phone, not the connection between the probe and the device. This has the
advantage of not having to stare at the temperature display of the device all
the time.
Q：Why always disconnect the Bluetooth connection?
A：The product uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology with
Bluetooth 5.0 module (TI‘s CC2640). In an open and unobstructed
environment, it can reach a distance of 70 meters; but it does not penetrate the
wall well. The characteristic of this Bluetooth technology is that as long as
the device is connected, no matter the signal strength, it can be used normally.
Q: LLL on the display
A: Temperature exceeds range: 33℉~572℉（1℃~300℃）or the probe is
damaged
Q: Why does the display keep flashing after setting the
temperature range?
A: Only when the current temperature is between the temperature range, the
display can return to normal. If it is lower or higher than the temperature
range, the device and mobile phone will alarm with the flashing display.
Q: Why no data is displayed after power on?
A: If the probe is not plugged into the socket after powering on, the device will
not display temperature and auto power off after 3 minutes.
Q: Why our App need to ask for your location (GPS)? It is safe?
A:Because our app use Bluetooth function, and this is abided by the
Framework Agreement of Android and iOS. Any Bluetooth app must request
location permission. Our application won't ask and use your WLAN/Celluar,
so turn on the location just because the Android and iOS's rule. We are unable
see and receive your location.

WARNING
•Do not touch the stainless portion of the probe during or right
after measuring temperatures since it will be hot.
•Keep away from water since the thermometer and cables are not
waterproof.
•Do not place the probes or probe cable directly in a burning flame.
•Do not damage the sensor tip, it will affect the use.

Notes on the probe
1. Do not put the probes and cable directly in fire flame.
2.The temperature probes of this meat thermometer can’t be submersible
for cleaning.
3. Clean and dry the probe thoroughly after each use with a damp cloth.
4. Always insert the probe upright into the thickest part of the meat while
avoiding fatty or bony areas. Avoid direct contact between the open flame
and the probe and cable to cause excessive temperature and damage to the
probe.
NOTE
If you want to confirm the accuracy of the probe or equipment, it is
recommended that you test in ice water or boiling water. If you think the
tem per ature of th e pr ob e is no t ac cu rate, p le as e conta ct u s at
