INTRODUCTION TO TÄNDA REGENERATE
Congratulations on your purchase of the Tända
Regenerate Anti-Aging Light Therapy Treatment.
From the number one manufacturer of home-use light
therapy products, the Tända Regenerate Anti-Aging
Light Therapy Treatment delivers professional
treatments in the comfort of your own home in just
minutes a day. Tända Regenerate uses red LED light
to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
and improve skin color, texture, firmess and hydration.

GETTING STARTED
DEVICE SET UP
Getting started with the Tända light therapy device
is easy.
1. Unpack the Tända light therapy device and all the
accessories.
2. Before use, remove the plastic plug (4) from the
bottom of the Tända cordless handpiece,
otherwise it will not activate when the orange
power button (5) is pressed.
3. Peel the protective lens cover off the treatment
head and discard.
4. Firmly place device in the recharging stand and
use the power supply to plug the recharging
stand into a power outlet. Ensure orange indicator
light (6) is on. Once the charging is complete
(requires about 4 hours), the orange light will
turn off. See Charging the Battery for details.
5. The Tända light therapy device is now ready to
begin treatment.

CHARGING THE BATTERY
• Firmly place the device in the recharging stand (3)
• Plug the power supply into the base of the
recharging stand and the other end into an AC
power outlet (such as a wall socket).
• The power supply may also be plugged directly
into the receptacle at the bottom of the handpiece
(2) and then into an AC power outlet.
• The device will take about 4 hours to charge.
• The indicator light (6) will be orange while device
is charging; it will turn off when charging is complete.
• The Tända device is now ready to be used unplugged.
• Keep the Tända device fully charged at all times.
It is recommended to store the device in the
recharging stand after every use. You cannot
overcharge your Tända light therapy device.
• A fully charged device will be able to deliver 10,
three-minute cycles between charges.
Note:
• You can also use your device plugged into an
AC power outlet (such as a wall socket). Simply
plug one end of the power supply into the
receptacle at the bottom of the handpiece and
connect the other end to the AC outlet in the wall.
The device will draw power from the AC outlet.
USING THE TÄNDA REGENERATE
ANTI-AGING LIGHT THERAPY TREATMENT
1. Cleanse your skin.
2. Apply the Tända Regenerate Pre-Treatment Gel
all over your face (avoid eyes).

3. Press the orange power button (5) once.
4. When the indicator light (6) is flashing green,
the device is ready to begin a treatment.
5. Place the Tända Regenerate device in contact
with your skin (the light will only activate when
the treatment head is in direct contact with the skin).
6. The light treatment head operates in three
minute cycles. An audible beep will sound every
30 seconds. Two quick beeps will indicate when
the cycle is complete.
7. Treat for three minutes over each target area
(e.g. around the eyes). Then move the device all
over your face, moving every 30 seconds with
the “beep” until you have treated all areas.
8. Allow 24 hours between treatments.
9. Use every day for 30 days, then three times per
week to maintain results.
10. Store the device in its recharging stand.
USING THE GOGGLES
The goggles have been provided for your conve-
nience and comfort as some people find the light
bright. Company sponsored testing showed that,
when used as directed, the device did not pose risk
of damage to the eyes.
• Position the goggles over your eyes
• Tie the elastic band so that the goggles fit
comfortably around your head.
Note: Do not shine light source directly into the eyes.

identify treatment cycles and performance behavior.

SENSORS
An internal Temperature Sensor will turn the device
off if the treatment head surface gets too warm. Allow
the device to cool for 5-10 minutes before restarting.
The Contact Sensor ensures that the device will only
activate when in contact with skin. The device will turn
off automatically if it is not applied to the skin within
20 seconds or if removed from the skin for more than
20 seconds.
TIPS & TROUBLESHOOTING
TÄNDA TRAVEL TIPS
The Tända light therapy device’s light weight design
and compact form makes it an easy travel companion.
Overnight Travel
If you will be away for a day or two, and you don’t
want to miss a treatment, you can travel with your
device without having to recharge it while away from
home. Simply remove the fully charged device from
the recharging stand and insert the plastic plug (4)
in the bottom of the device. The plastic plug will
prevent the device from discharging. A fully charged
device will be able to deliver 10, three-minute cycles
between charges.

Universal Voltage
The Tända device is designed to charge safely with
either 110/120V or 220/240V systems. It can be
charged in foreign countries using an electric adaptor
plug.
International Plugs
The Tända power supply comes with an interchange-
able plug feature. Additional plugs are available
for different international locations. Contact Tända
Customer Service if you wish to purchase the Tända
International Power Adaptor Kit.
TROUBLESHOOTING
In the event that the Tända light therapy device fails
to perform as intended, the following notes will help
to identify potential problems with the device and its
setup.

MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
Use a damp, soft, lint-free cloth and a mild alcohol-
free detergent to clean the Tända treatment head
surface.
Note: Do not immerse device in water at any time.

REPLACING YOUR TÄNDA LIGHT THERAPY
TREATMENT HEAD: (FIG. II)
Tända Light Therapy Treatment Heads are designed
to last for up to 300 hours, at such time the treatment
head will no longer emit light. Replacement treatment
heads are available through Tända Customer Service.

Your Tända product is warranted to be free from
defect in material and workmanship for a period
of one year after its original purchase date under
normal use. This warranty extends only to the original
retail purchaser with original proof of purchase and
only when purchased from an authorized Tända
retailer or reseller.
If the product should become defective within the
warranty period, contact Pharos Life Corporation.
In North America, call our customer service

1.877.651.1177x233 for replacement. If you
are outside of North America, contact your local
distributor. Contact information can be found at
tandaskincare.com. Pharos Life Corporation reserves
the right to replace a defective product with the most
comparable product currently available. Your exclusive
remedy for any defective product covered by this
limited warranty is limited to the replacement of the
defective product. Pharos Life’s entire liability for
any defective product shall in no event exceed the
purchase price for the defective product.

CONTRAINDICATIONS, wARNINGS
AND PRECAUTIONS
CONTRAINDICATIONS
• CAUTION! Do not use over any suspicious
or cancerous lesion. The effect of this device
on suspicious or cancerous lesions is unknown.
• CAUTION! Do not use if you are sensitive to light.
Doing so may result in a photosensitive reaction.
• CAUTION! Do not use if you are taking drugs
known to make you sensitive to light. Common
examples of drugs that may make you sensitive
to light include: Antihistamines used in cold and
allergy medicines; Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory
Drugs (NSAIDs), used to control pain and
inflammation; and Antibiotics, including tetracy-
clines and the sulfonamides, or “Sulfa” Drugs.
• CAUTION! Do not use with Liniments, salves
or ointments that contain heat-producing
ingredients, as skin burn could result.
• CAUTION! Do not use over a pregnant uterus.
Doing so may be harmful to the fetus or patient.
• CAUTION! Do not use over or near a recent steroid
injection. Doing so may result in a photosensitive
reaction.
• CAUTION! Do not use on infants. Doing so may
result in an injury.
• CAUTION! Do not use over the thyroid gland
(neck area). Doing so may stimulate the gland.

WARNINGS
To reduce the risk of electrical shock that may cause
injury or death:
1. Always attach the AC power adapter to the device
first, then into the outlet.
2. Do not place or store the device where it can fall
or be pulled into a tub or sink. Do not place
or drop into water or other liquid.
3. Keep all electrical appliances away from water.
If the unit accidentally falls into water, carefully
unplug the unit.
4. Never drop or insert any object into any openings
on the device.
5. Only use the power adapter provided with this
device.
6. Never operate this device if it has a damaged
cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has
been dropped or damaged, or submerged
in water. Return the device to Pharos Life for
examination and repair.
7. Do not disassemble the device as this may cause
unit damage, malfunction, electrical shock, fire
or personal injury. There are no user-serviceable
parts inside the unit.
8. Do not allow children to use the device unsupervised.
WARNING: To prevent fire or possible burns:
1. Keep away from flammable aerosol products
being used or where oxygen is being administered.
2. Turn off the device if it becomes unusually warm
to touch.

WARNING: Stop immediately, if you experience any
adverse effects or develop prolonged redness.
You may be experiencing a photosensitive reaction.
PRECAUTIONS
• Read all instructions before using your Tända
light therapy device.
• The Tända device should be operated, transported
and stored in the manner specified in this manual.
(see section SPECIFICATIONS)
• The device should be routinely checked before
each use to determine the device functions properly.
• Failure to use and maintain the Tända device
in accordance with the instructions outlined
in this manual will invalidate the warranty.
• Do not scratch, mark or otherwise damage the
light emitting surface.
• Do not operate this device in an environment
where other devices, which intentionally radiate
electromagnetic energy in an unshielded manner,
are being used. Portable or mobile radio frequency
communication equipment can affect medical
electrical equipment.
