Optional f atur s includ an xt rnal floppy Disk Bay
Expansion Unit (1-driv unit or 2-driv unit), a 15 M gabyt
or larg r Hard Disk Syst m for mass storag , an ARCNET™
syst m for local ar a communications n twork, a graphics
board for vid o graphics capability, and a multi-t rminal
int rfac board.

compon nt analysis of th syst m.
Th basic TANDY 6000 is suppli d with two floppy Disk Driv s
and fiv PCB ass mbli s; th TANDY 6000-HD is suppli d with
on floppy disk and on int rnal 15-m g hard disk. Two of
th PCB ass mbli s ar mount d in th El ctronics Modul ,
which is attach d to th Bas Ass mbly. Th s includ th
I/O Proc ssor PCB and th Pow r Supply PCB. Th Sound PCB,
is mount d insid th Bas Ass mbly at th l ft front
corn r. Th CRT Monitor PCB mount d on th Bas Ass mbly,
is th l ctronics for th CRT ass mbly. Th s v n slot
xpansion unit plugs into th I/O Proc ssor PCB, and th
16-bit CPU and m mory board plug into th xpansion unit
along with th Vid o/K yboard Int rfac PCB.
