ENG – Instructions
Keep these instructions for the future maintenance work or dismantling. For important
information on the energy efficiency of TAURAC luminaires and on maintaining and disposing
of luminaires, please contact us.
NL – Instructie
Bewaar deze gebruiksaanwijzing voor onderhoudswerkzaamheden of demontage in de
toekomst. Voor belangrijke informatie over de energie-efficiëntie van Taurac-armaturen
evenals informatie over onderhoud en afvoer van armaturen kunt u contact met ons opnemen.

ENG – Safety notes
These instructions assume expert knowledge corresponding to a completed professional
education as an electrician.
Never work when voltage is present on the luminaire. In all cases, mains voltage must always
be switched off before the luminaire is connected to the installation.
The LED light source in the luminaire cannot and may not be changed or replaced by the user.
In case of malfunctions with the LED module, please contact Taurac.
If light management components are used in the luminaire, they comply with the SELV
requirements. Use mains cables for control inputs of dimmable ECG (1.. 10V, DALI, etc.) which
are rated for 230V.
The maximum admissible ambient temperature (Ta) of the luminaire may not be exceeded.
Surpassing that temperature reduces the service life and, in extreme cases, poses risk of early
failure. The luminaire is intended for use in an (indoor) room with an ambient temperature of Ta
= 25 ° C.
The equipment must only be used in conjunction with the product supplied driver. Or with a
Taurac recommended driver. Application not recommended drivers by Taurac can damage the
fixture and hence to limit the guarantee.
NL – Veiligheidsinstructies
Elektrotechnische werkzaamheden aan het armatuur mogen alleen worden uitgevoerd door
een erkend installateur of daartoe bevoegd en opgeleid, deskundig personeel.
Werkzaamheden aan het armatuur alleen uitvoeren in het geval deze geheel spanningsloos is.
Netspanning dient in alle gevallen altijd eerst te worden uitgeschakeld voordat het armatuur op
de installatie wordt aangesloten.
De LED lichtbron in het armatuur kan en mag niet door de gebruiker gewijzigd of vervangen
worden. Bij het uitvallen van of storingen aan de LED(modules), verzoeken wij u contact op te
nemen met Taurac.
In het geval er lichtmanagement componenten i.c.m. het armatuur worden toegepast, dienen
deze te voldoen aan de SELV-eisen. De stuur- of dimbekabeling (o.a. DALI) en aansluitingen
dienen netspanningsvast (230V) te zijn uitgevoerd.
Overschrijding van de voor dit product in de specificaties opgegeven maximale, toelaatbare
omgevingstemperatuur (Ta) kan tot gevolg hebben dat de levensduur van de leds in het
armatuur wordt bekort of in uitzonderlijke gevallen kan leiden tot vervroegde uitval. De Ta mag
dus niet worden overschreden, het armatuur is bedoeld voor toepassing in een (binnen)ruimte
met een omgevingstemperatuur van Ta = 25°C.
Het armatuur mag alleen worden toegepast in combinatie met een door Taurac geadviseerde
en of met het product meegeleverde driver. Toepassing van niet door Taurac geadviseerde
drivers kan schade aan het armatuur aanbrengen en daarmee een beperking van de garantie
tot gevolg hebben.
ENG -Installation Precautions
1. Before using the light, please check the integrity of the package and the product. If the light
was damaged during transportation, please do not use it.
2. Please do not hit or press it with heavy substance.
3. Please handle and transport gently.
4. Before cleaning the light, please make sure the power supply have been turned off.
5. Never use any chemicals or abrasives for cleaning.
6. Please do not touch and twist the lamp when power is on.
7. Light warm is normal when power is on.
NL – Voorzorgsmaatregelen bij de installatie
1. Controleer de verpakking en het product voordat u het armatuur gebruikt. Als het licht
tijdens het transport is beschadigd, gebruik het dan niet.
2. Gelieve niet aanraken of bewerken met gereedschappen.
3. Gelieve voorzichtig om te gaan en te vervoeren.
4. Zorg ervoor dat de stroomtoevoer is uitgeschakeld voordat u het licht reinigt.
5. Gebruik nooit chemicaliën of schuurmiddelen voor het reinigen.
6. Raak de lamp niet aan en draai deze niet als de stroom is ingeschakeld.
7. Licht warmte is normaal wanneer de stroom is ingeschakeld.
ENG – Caution
1. Any modifications or changes materials and parts of this light fixture are not allowed.
2. It is forbidden to insert any small conductors like electrical wire or iron ware into the joints
or gaps of the light fixture to prevent electrical conduction.
3. Do not touch the lamp when it is lit up or just after turned off. The remaining heat may lead
to a burn injury.

4. Do not directly clean the lamp and light source with water or detergent.
5. Always be certain the power is off before the light source replacement or light fixture
cleaning and maintenance.
6. Light fixture must be installed and used according to our instruction.
7. Do not use indoor light fixture outdoors.
8. Confirm the overall integrity of the light fixture prior to installation. Any part damaged or
broken wires should be replaced.
9. Do not drop the light fixture or expose it to impact with hard objects during transportation
and installation. The broken lamp may cause injuries.
10. Please follow the voltage marked on the label for power distribution.
11. The lamps should be operated at an ambient temperature lower than 45 degrees.
12. Do not cover any flammable materials or fire proof insulation on the lamp after installation.
13. The lamp contains fireproof optical PC lens which complies with national safety standard
and RoHS. Do not use or clean with acid/alkaline cleaning agents or an volatile solvents such as
alcohol or paints to avoid material decay which may affect the lighting efficiency.
NL – Waarschuwing
1. Wijzigingen van het armatuur of wijzigingen van materialen en onderdelen van dit armatuur
zijn niet toegestaan.
2. Het is verboden om kleine geleiders zoals elektrische draden of ijzeren artikelen in de
verbindingen of openingen van de lamp te steken om elektrische geleiding te voorkomen.
3. Raak de lamp niet aan wanneer deze is verlicht of net nadat deze is uitgeschakeld. De
resterende warmte kan leiden tot brandwonden.
4. Maak de lamp en de lichtbron niet rechtstreeks schoon met water of een afwasmiddel.
5. Zorg er altijd voor dat het apparaat is uitgeschakeld voordat u de lichtbron vervangt of
reinigt en onderhoudt.
6. Lichtarmatuur moet worden geïnstalleerd en gebruikt volgens onze instructies.
7. Gebruik de binnenverlichting niet buitenshuis.
8. Bevestig de algehele integriteit van de lamp voorafgaand aan de installatie. Beschadigde of
gebroken delen moeten worden vervangen.
9. Laat het armatuur niet vallen en stel het niet bloot aan harde voorwerpen tijdens transport
en installatie. De kapotte lamp kan letsel veroorzaken.
10. Volg de op het label aangegeven spanning voor de stroomverdeling.
11. De lampen moeten worden gebruikt bij een omgevingstemperatuur lager dan 45 graden.
12. Bedek geen brandbare materialen of vuurvaste isolatie op de lamp na installatie.
13. De lamp bevat een brandvrije optische pc-lens die voldoet aan de nationale
veiligheidsnormen en RoHS. Gebruik of reinig niet met zuur / alkalische reinigingsmiddelen of
vluchtige oplosmiddelen zoals alcohol of verf om materiaalverval te voorkomen dat de
lichtefficiëntie kan beïnvloeden.
ENG – Quality Warranty:
1. Quality guarantee is based on storing, installing, operating and maintaining correctly in the
normal operation condition.
2. It is not included in our maintaining range when installing inappropriately, breaking the
operating rules, and leading to the products damaging.
3. Our company will maintain the right to either repair, parts replacing, or products exchange
during the quality warranty period.
NL – Kwaliteitsgarantie
1. De kwaliteitsgarantie is gebaseerd op het correct opslaan, installeren, bedienen en
onderhouden in de normale gebruiksconditie.
2. De kwaliteitsgarantie is niet van toepassing bij onjuiste installatie, het overtreden van de
bedieningsregels en het leiden van beschadiging van de producten.
3. Taurac behoudt het recht op reparatie, vervanging van onderdelen of het vervangen van
producten tijdens de kwaliteitsgarantietermijn.

ENG – Hanging ring installation
NL – Ophang installatie met ring
1. ENG - Install the ring to the hole of the back cover
NL – Bevestig de ring aan de achterkant van het armatuur
2. ENG - Fix the hook and hang the lamp
NL - Bevestig de haal in het plafond, zodat het armatuur hieraan kan komen te
hangen.

ENG – Bracket installation
NL – Installatie aan beugel
1. ENG - Drill holes, fix the expansion screws and then hang the lamp
NL – Boor gaten, bevestig de schroeven en hang de lamp op
2. ENG - Wiring (Dimming Type)
