1. General instructions
1
This manual gives user important safety instructions for machine and user.
2
Please follow manual instructions to prevent machine damage or operator
3
harming.
4
1.1 Electrostatic oil mist collector operation
5
theory and method
6
TCSM electrostatic oil mist collector is applied for lathe and
7
milling machine filtration and reuse of coolant. This model uses several
8
parts. (As shown in Figure 1)
9
1. The dispersion zone:
10
The conflict plate forces the oil drop disperse into smaller oil mist.
11
2. The blocking zone:
12
Block large oil mist by front filter to improve the efficiency of the
13
electric field filter.
14
3. Electric field filter:
15
Electrode plate got positive plate and negative plate.
16
After oil mist through positive plate, oil mist is captured with
17
negative plate.
18
4. Odour absorption:
19
To reduce odour emission, TCSM could supply different optional spare
20
parts depending on each field application to improve filter efficiency.
21
22

3. Electric field filter:
Capturing oil mist by
electric field.
Oil mist is ionized and
captured in this zone.
2.Blocking zone:
Block large oil mist
by front filter to
proceed first filter
process.
1. Dispersion zone:
Disperse large oil
drop into oil mist.

5.1 Installation instructions
2
3
5.1.1.
4
Check the main voltage and frequency by comparing the
5
specification on the utility meter with the specification on the
6
machine rating plate. The power supply needs to be grounded. Be sure to
7
turn off the primary power side before installing the machine. Primary
8
side 3 phase circuit breaker rated current should be 15A large then
9
the collector rated current.
10
11
The voltage fluctuations must be in the range of -5 % to 10 %. In
12
case of major fluctuations, faults and premature wear can be expected.
13
In this case, the warranty will no longer be valid.
14
15
5.1.2. Depending on customer field application, CE series of
16
collectors have three installation ways:
17
(1) Install on the machine directly.
18
(2) Install on support column (Support column height customizable).
19
(3) Whole factory machine tools oil mist solution. Solution is
20
proceeded with CE series collectors and air duct.
21
22
5.1.3. Oil mist intake place suggestions:
23
5.1.3.1 Usually set oil mist intake place on machine tool top cover
24
or side cover.
25
5.1.3.2 Oil mist intake place should prevent nearby or opposite
26
machine tool coolant nozzle. If this situation could not be prevented,
27
user should install oil mist intake cover (plastic/steel) to reduce
28
oil drop intake volume.
29
5.1.4. Connection between air duct and CE series collectors should not
30
leak, and air duct layout should prevent oil accumulation inside air
31
duct. Also, could install “Front oil blocker” or PVC pipe to
32
prevent above problem.
33
34

14
5.1.5. After the power distribution is completed, it is necessary to
1
confirm that all power terminal contacts in the machine are tightened
2
well and confirm that the rotation of the wind wheel and motor are
3
correct according to the sticker deration. The operating lights are
4
all working properly.
5
6
5.1.6. Oil recycle tube cannot layout
7
horizontal more than 30cm. Oil recycle tube
8
should be arranged vertical to oil pail, this
9
oil recycle tube must turn a circle and fill
10
oil in this circle.
11
The end of oil recycle tube need higher than
12
oil level in pail. The purpose of this
13
arrangement is to prevent CE series
14
collectors have air flow leaking and recycle
15
oil back to CE series collectors.

19
Turn on the braker (1) inside the control box. Please
20
close the door. Hook the door buckle (2) to ensure the
21
safety switch (3) is attached properly. After the outer
22
door is closed, use a #4 Allen wrench to lock door
23

5.2.2 Before starting up
1
5.2.2.1 Please double check the power distributions are
2
tightened well.
3
5.2.2.2 Motor rotation direction:
4
The direction of rotation of the motor must be
5
checked as follows: - Use the hand switch to turn on
6
the machine. - The motor must rotate
7
counterclockwise. - If the direction of rotation is incorrect,
8
have the poles of the mains cable reversed by an electrician.
9
- Furthermore, the safety checks that are specified for each
10
workday must be executed.
11
。
12
5.2.2.3 Operating/Error light:
13
After confirming the rotation of the motor, turn on
14
the main power switch. At this time, the
15
operating/error light may flash. Please confirm
16
whether it is still flashing after 5 minutes. If
17
still flashing, turn off main power switch and take
18
out the Electrode Plate. Clean Electrode Plate by
19
pressurized air. According to the pressurized air
20
use rules in the cleaning chapter 6.3.1, clean up
21
the large pieces of residual material. After clean
22
up, put it back in the machine, and turn it on
23
again. If there is no flashing, the machine is work
24
properly. If light still flashing, please repeat the
25
cleaning process once again.
26
5.2.3 Starting up
27
After testing start up, machine is ready to run.
28
If there is any situation that cannot be solved, please
29
contact supplier for more assistance.

Spray the entire
electrostatic plate,
including each plate, with
the detergent. And use a
brush to remove stains, then
rinse repeatedly with
detergent. After cleaning,
spray the detergent full and
let it stand for 10 minutes
until the detergent
dissolves and softens the
dirt.
3
Use 4-5bar high-pressure
water to clean up plate in
