2.1Installation
lCondensation mayoccurifthe UPSismoveddirectlyfroma
coldtoawarmenvironment. TheUPS must be absolutelydry
before being installed. Pleaseallowan acclimatization timeof
at leasttwohours.
lDo not install the UPS near wateror in damp environment.
lDo not install the UPSwhere it would beexposed to direct
sunlight or nearheat.
lDo not blockventilation openingsin the UPS’shousing.
lPlace cablesin such a way that no one can step on or trip over
them.
lUPS hasprovided earthedterminal, in the final installed system
configuration, equipotentearth bonding tothe external UPS
batterycabinets.
lAn integral single emergencyswitching devicewhich prevents
furthersupplytothe loadbytheUPS in anyoperation mode
shouldbe providedin the building wiring installation.
lAn appropriate disconnectdevice asshort-circuitbackup
protection should be provided in the building wiring installation.
lForthe equipmentconnectionto an ITpowersystem,a
two-pole device which disconnectphase conductors and the

lYou can connect four extended batterymodulesto the
uninterruptible powersupply.
lEarthing connection isessential before connecting tothe
building wiring terminal.
2.2Operation
lDo notdisconnectthe earth conductorcablefromthe UPS or
the building wiring terminals in anytimesince this would cancel
the protective earthingofthe UPS systemand all connected
loads.
lThe UPS output terminal block maybe electrically active even if
the UPS systemis not connectedtothebuilding wiring
terminal.
lIn order to completelydisconnecttheUPS, firstly press the
OFF button, andthen disconnect the mains lead.
