LIBERTY300 Solar works with the available solar energy. As a
back up, LIBERTY300 Solar will use in priority the heat pump,
as long as air temperature sucked in is higher than -7°C and less
than 35°C.
Eventualy, the electric back up only runs when:
- air temperature is out of the nominal range
- water temperature is below 38°C and comfort function
is activated
- Boost function is manually activated.
Taking into account the domestic hot water consumption, and in
the aim of savings, it is advised to set the water temperature at
50°C.
Check periodically that no alarm message appears. In case of
alarm please see error code table.

If you are looking for energy savings, please note
that it is more favorable to eciency not to set
temperature too high, specially if you have limited
needs in hot water.
Your LIBERTY300 Solar is delivered with a temperature set at
55°C. You can adjust this setting (Target) by turning the dial.
5.1 - Setting of the requested
temperature for hot water
NB
An anti-legionellosis cycle at 60°C is activated
automatically at each return from vacation.

If this mode is actived, restriction applies on the
morning as a standard setting. The period when this
restriction applies can be modied by your installer

The “BOOST” function is automatically deactivated as
soon as the designated temperature is achieved (end
of the heat cycle).
ECO Mode restricts the operation of heat pump to a limited
volume in the tank, leaving more space to store solar energy.
The “BOOST” function is a temporary forcing of the electrical
backup and the heat pump, simultaneously, to accelerate the
raising of temperature on a heat cycle.
The [éclair] “electrical backup”symbol blinks.
The “BOOST” function is automatically deactivated as soon as the
designated temperature is achieved (end of the heat cycle).

5.4 - BOOST function (for better comfort)
The “VACATIONS” function allows to set the device in stand by mode
while conserving the frost-free function.
This function is programmable for a duration of 1 to 99 days. It is
activated once the number of days are set and accepted.
The “VACATIONS” function ends automatically at the same time as
soon as the number of days have passed. During the entire duration
of the vacation LIBERTY300 Solar will display “RETURN” (Return
from vacation) along with a countdown for the number of days.

6 - FUNCTIONING OF LIBERTY300 DURING ERROR
LIBERTY300 Solar could indicate alarm message. Ask your installer, or a qualify person, to check up the system and make the
maintenance. Instructions for maintenance and repair are summarized in chapter 5 of the installer guide. Depending on the default, a relief
operation mode is activated, to warranty hot water production, before reparation.

 

 
