Lämmityskaapeli kuuluu olennaisena osana lämpöpumppujärjestelmään. Kaapelin pääasiallinen
käyttötarkoitus on edesauttaa kondenssiveden poistoa pitämällä tämä sulana ulkoyksikön alla.

Heating cable is an essential component of the refrigeration industry. Its most common use is
to remove or prevent condensation and formation of ice in refrigeration systems, condensate
discharges and outlets of external units.

Yleiset asennusohjeet:
Kondenssiveden lämmityskaapelit on erityisesti suunniteltu kondenssivesiputkien sisälle
asennettaviksi veden jäätymisen estämiseksi. Kaapeli toimii ainoastaan kylmissä olosuhteissa.
Lämmityskaapeli sulattaa kondenssivesikertymät auttaen näitä valumaan poistoputkeen

General Guidelines for installation:
Drain pipe heaters are uniquely designed to be laid inside pipes for draining water from thawing
refrigeration equipments installed in cold rooms. They operate only during thawing cycles. In cold
stores, after a certain time of operation, there is a buildup of ice in cooler ns and defrosting must
take place.
Electric resistances are inserted between the ns to melt ice and water is collected and passed
through a drain pipes for disposal. Some meters of drain pipes are inside the cold stores, so con-
sequently the water may freeze again.
To avoid this problem, a drain pipe heater is inserted in to the pipe. It is switched on only during
the defrosting cycles.

ASENNUS / GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR INSTALLATION
1. Saatuasi kaapeli tarkista kaapelin kunto vaurioiden varalta. Mikäli huomaat kaapelissa
vaurioita älä ota kaapelia käyttöön ja palauta tämä myyntipisteeseen. / After receiving the
heating cable, check for any damage to the heatingcable due to transit. Check Voltage and
Wattage of heating cable is as per selection made.
2. Asennus tulee suorittaa valmistajan ohjeiden mukaan noudattaen kansallisia normeja ja
asetuksia / The installation of heating cable shall be in accordance with the manufacturer’s
instructions, local and National codes
3. Tarkista kaapelin vastus jännitetesterillä ja varmista että jännite vastaa ilmoitettua. / Check
resistance of heating cable with an Ohmmeter. The resistance value must correspond to
what is indicated on the label.. Also check insulation resistance value of the heating cable
after installation between metal sheet and Heating Wire.
4. Lämmityskaapelin sulatusteho on 15W/mt / This heating cable has an absorbed power of
15 W / mt
5. Lämmitettävän pinnan puhtaus tulee varmistaa maksimaalisen lämmönsiirron
takaamiseksi. / Effective thermal transfer between the heating cable and the surface to be
heated is essential for efficient operation.
6. Tasaiselle pinnalle asennettaessa voidaan lämmityskaapelin asennukseen käyttää
alumiiniteippiä. Tällä tavlla voidaan varmistaa kaapelin paikallaan pysyminen ja
oikeaoppinen lämmön jakautuminen / Taping the heating cable directly to the surface or
bonding it to selfadhesive aluminium foil are two of the most common installation methods.
The foil-bonded design ensures correct spacing of the heating cable, effective heat
distribu-tion and simplifies installation.
7. Varmista että lämmityskaapelin lämpimän ja kylmän osan merkki on asetettu oikeaan
kohtaan. Näin varmistetaan kaapelin oikea toiminta. / Pay attention to the positioning of
the junction mark between the hot and cold areas of the heating cable, so as not to com-
promise the effectiveness.

1. Kaapelia ei ikinä tule lyhentää.
2. Kaapeli tulee asentaa siten että kaapelin termostaatin ympärillä on mahdollisimman vähän
käytön esteitä.
3. Älä kytke kaapeli virtalähteeseen ennen asennusta.
4. Älä asenna vaurioitunutta kaapelia.
5. Älä käsittele lämmityskaapelia tämän ollessa kytkettynä.
6. Lämmityskaapelia ei tule asentaa siten että kaapelin lämpimät osat risteävät keskenään.
7. Kaapeli tulee asentaa ainoastaan oikein maadoitettuun ja suojattuun virtalähteeseen.
8. Vältä voiman käyttöä kaapelia asennettaessa.
9. Älä litistä kaapelia.
10. Lämmityskaapelia eivät saa käyttää lapset tai muut henkilöt jotka eivät ole saaneet
asianmukaista ohjeistusta kaapelin käyttöön.
11. Kaapeli tulee pitää poissa lasten ulottuvilta.
12. Termostaatti on valmiiksi koottu ja suljettu johtoon tehtaalla.
13. Kylmähuoneasennuksessa tulee kaapeli kytkeä kylmäkoneikon sähkönsyöttöön.
14. Muissa asennuksissa tulee asennusvaiheessa varmistaa että kaapeli on kytketty oikein
maadoitettuun pistorasialiitäntään.
15. Kaapelin kosketusta metallisiin objekteihin tulee välttää mahdollisuuksien mukaan.
16. Mikäli kondennsivedenpoistoletkua käytetään tulee letkun halkaisijan olla vähintään 10mm.
17. Lämmityskaapeli toimitetaan standardilla pistotulppaliitännällä ja voidaan kytkeä suoraan
tavalliseen 230V pistotulppaliitäntään..
HUOMIOITAVAA ASENNUKSESTA
IMPORTANT POINTS TO INSTALL HEATING CABLES
7. PKaapelin vaurioiden minimoimiseksi kaapeli voidaan asentaa sopivan kokoiseen uraan.
1. The cables must never be cut to shorten the length
2. The at surface of the thermostat sensor must be placed in the best position to collect infor-
mation so that the cable can perform as required.
3. Do not energize the heating element before tting it.
4. Do not t the heating element if it is damaged.
5. Do not touch the heating element when it is energized.
6. The heating element must not intersect or overlap under any circumstances.
To further reduce the possibility of abrasion it is possible to use metal or plastic channels.
The aluminum tape coating increases the abrasion resistance and reflects the heat
towards the outside towards the surface that requires heating.
7. Connect the cable to a properly protected electric power system.
8. Do not apply excessive pulling force to them
9. Do not allow them to be crushed anyin way.

10. The Heating cable should not be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instructions for safe use of heating cable.
11. The heating cable should be away from access of Children
12. Thermostat is thematically sealed and factory assembled between hot lead and cold lead
and at end of the heating cable
13. In case of Refrigeration Units / Cold rooms, Power leads are to be connected in the unit
provided with them, to supply power to heating Cables
14. In case of Door heating application, Power leads are to be connected to properly earthed
power point for heating the Cables.
15. The power cable should not touch to any metal part and to be protected from moisture during
and after installation
16. The drain pipe size should be more than 10 mm for inside application of drain pipe heater.
17. The drain pipe heating cable can be supplied with the standard Euro plug that can be con-
nected directly to the 230V supply socket.
Tuotteella on kahden vuoden takuu ostohetkestä. Toimittaja takaa tuotteen materiaalien laadun ja
komponenttien oikean kokoamisen. Takuu kattaa materiaali- sekä valmistusvirheet. Materiaali- ja
valmistusvirheen varalta valmistaja toimittaa ehjän tuotteen tilalle. Koituneita välillisiä kuluja ei korvata.
Takuu ei kata:
•Vääränlaista kuljetusta tai käsittelyä
•Vastoin määräyksiä ja asetuksia tehtyä asennusta
•Kaapelin käyttöä muuhun kuin käyttötarkoitukseensa
•Muita virheitä jotka eivät suoraan johdu materiaali- tai valmistusvirheestä
The warranty lasts 2 years from the date of delivery. The supplier company guarantees the quality of
the materials used and the correct construction of the components. The warranty covers defects in materials
and manufacturing defects and refers to the supply of spare parts of any components featuring defects,
without any compensation, interest or claim for damages.
The warranty does not cover the replacement of components damaged due to:

•incorrect transportation;
•installation not compliant with that specified in this installation, use and maintenance manual;
•non-observance of product technical specifications;
•Anything else that is not linked to original faults of the material or production provided that the customer
complaint is covered by the guarantee and a claim is made within the time limit and in the way requested
by the supplier, the same supplier will commit, at their own discretion, to replace or repair any product or
part of product showing signs of faults or defects
TUOTTEEN HÄVITTÄMINEN / DISPOSAL
Tuotteen tullessa elinkaarensa päähän tuote tulee hävittää asianmukaisesti paikallisia jäte- ja
kierrätysasetuksia noudattaen. / The equipment must be disposed of according to the laws in
force for the separate disposal of waste and/or recycling
