Wireless Transmitter
Operation Manual
This Operation Manual describes functioning principles, proper use,
maintenance and service of the wireless transmitter Astra-TRC (here-
inafter - Transmitter) (Figure 1).
The manufacturer reserves the right to make improvements in the
transmitter design without prior notice. The alterations shall be included
into a new edition of the Operation Manual.
1 Function
1.1 The transmitter is a small-sized mobile
device designed to generate and transmit encod-
ed signals to the receiver Astra-RVC (hereinafter
–the receiver) which is a component of the wire-
less alarm system Astra-R.
1.2 Transfer of encoded signals is indicated by
LED indicator within (2-3)s.
1.3 The transmitter is powered from a 3V bat-
tery, type СR2430.
1.4 If light intensity is inferior and the LCD indi-
cator blinks when the button is pressed, it indicates that the battery in
the transmitter is low.
1.5 The transmitter will stop transmitting signals in 10 seconds after
pressing the button, regardless of how long you press the button, even
if it is still pressed.

Operation Manual
This Operation Manual describes functioning principles, proper use,
maintenance and service of the wireless transmitter Astra-TRC (here-
inafter - Transmitter) (Figure 1).

1 Function
1.1 The transmitter is a small-sized mobile
device designed to generate and transmit encod-
ed signals to the receiver Astra-RVC (hereinafter
–the receiver) which is a component of the wire-
less alarm system Astra-R.
1.2 Transfer of encoded signals is indicated by
LED indicator within (2-3)s.
1.3 The transmitter is powered from a 3V bat-
tery, type СR2430.
1.4 If light intensity is inferior and the LCD

in the transmitter is low.

The transmitter is designed as a key fob consisting of a cover (front)
and a base (Figure 2).
The front cover contains a button and a printed circuit board with radio
elements.
The printed circuit board contains an indicator controlling operation of
the transmitter.
5 Registration of the Transmitter
Registration of the transmitter in the memory of the receiver shall be
performed as described in Operation Manual for the receiver or wire-
less alarm system Astra-R.
6 Battery Replacing
1) Open the front cover of the transmitter.
2) Remove old battery.
3) Install a new battery in maximum 10s.
4) Close the front cover of the transmitter.
7 Recycling
7.1 The transmitter does not pose any threat to life and health of
people, as well as to the environment. After the expiry of its service life
period, the transmitter shall be disposed of without special precautions
in respect to the environment.
7.2 Waste batteries must be returned to the trading organization,
service center, manufacturer or to a recycling organization.
8 Manufacturer Warranties
8.1 The manufacturer guarantees that the transmitter will comply to
technical requirements, provided that the consumers adhere to speci-
fied technical conditions of transportation, recommendations on stor-
age and use.
8.2 The warranted shelf life is 1 year 6 months from the manufacturing
date.
8.3 The warranted service life is 1 year from the commissioning date,
but not more than 1 year 6 months from manufacturing date (the war-
ranty doesn’t cover the battery).
8.4 The manufacturer must repair or replace the transmitter within the
warranty period.
8.5 The warranty does not become effective in the following cases:
–failure to comply with this Operation Manual;
–mechanic damage of the transmitter;
–if the transmitter is improperly repaired by anyone other than the
manufacturer.
8.6 The warranty applies only to the transmitter. All other equipment of
other manufacturers used with the transmitter is subject to other manu-
facturer’s warranties.
In no case shall the manufacturer be liable for any death, physical
injury or property damage, or any other accidental or intentional
loss based on claim that the transmitter failed to perform its func-
tions.
