Wearehappyto announcetheabilityto fieldprogramarchitectural roomnumbers into theNC375
VoltageInterfaceisnowavailable. Theinstructions havebeen addedto the installation manual, IL679 but
feel a condensedversion referencemayhelp make it easier in thefieldandis foundbelow.
Theory: TheNC375offers theabilityto take an annunciatedpoint fromahard-wiredTekTone nurse call
systemandprocess it through the interfaceandto a transmitter ultimatelydisplayingonapocket pager.
Usingtheincludedprogrammingsoftware,you will bemakingadata file where architectural information is
enteredandsavedto disk. This data file will then be sent to thevoltage interfacewhere it will be retained
in memory.This will allowchanges to bemadetotheoriginal file later allowingtheequipment to reflect
changes in thefacility.The“file” maybe repeatedlyrevisedand“re-sent” to theNC375VoltageInterface
as needed.
Required materials:
Computer/Laptop w/ 3½” disk drive
Serial Port available (COM 1, NOTE: TheCOM port settingmaychangedin the programunder the
devices menu)
Serial Cable suppliedwithNC366A transmitter (CT365)
ProgrammingSoftware disk
Procedure:
1.Install programmingsoftware from3½” diskettes suppliedwiththeNC375,followingthecomputer
prompteddirections. Oncecompletedturn computer off.
2.Connectserialcable fromCOM1porttothe port on theNC375voltage interface.
3.Verify dipswitch settingsontheNC375 per pg.3.
4.Power up computer andNC375 unit.
5. Start theNC375program(thefollowingwill appear).

10.Double-clickDefault SettingFolder to collapse thedirectorytree. Single-clickonAdd Another Zone,click
in textboxon theright,type thenumber rangeofzones to add (ex.1-20 creates zones 1through 20)
11.Single-clickonZone 1andenter first roomnumber in Location Boxon theright,after thedefault
labeling.Then selecteach ofthesubsequent zones andenter therespectiveroomnumbers. NOTE: The
architectural roomnumbers must correspondwiththephysical point-wire connections to thevoltage
interface’s terminal blocks. Zone 1in theprogrammingsetup = CH1 in thevoltage interface’s terminal
blocks.
12.Savefile by pressingCTRL-Aor selectFile |Saveas.Then enter a file nameandclickOK.
13.ProgramtheNC375 unit by pressingCTRL-Wor selectDevice|DeviceWrite. ClickOK.
14.Verify that theprogrammingmatches the unit:Press CTRL-Vor selectDevice|DeviceVerify.ClickOK.
15. Power downtheNC375 unit,disconnectthe serial cable fromthecomputer andconnecttotheNC366A
transmitter. Power up theNC375,NC366A, andtest by placingcalls fromeach room.
