Making a call
External Call
1. Lift the handset or press Speaker
2. Press 9 followed by the number you would like to call. The number will automatically begin
to ring.
Internal Call
1. Lift the handset or press Speaker
2. Enter the extension you would like to call. The number will automatically begin to ring.
Transferring calls
External transfer
1. When the caller is on the line, press the Transfer key
2. Dial 9 followed by the external number
3. Inform the second party of the call
4. Replace the handset to complete the transfer.
5. If the called extension is busy or does not answer, press the flashing line to return to your
caller.
6. If the extension does not accept the call, ask them to hang up and your call is returned (or
press the flashing line).
Internal Transfer
1. When the caller is on the line, press the Transfer key
2. Dial the extension required
3. Inform the second party of the call
4. Replace the handset to complete the transfer.
5. If the called extension is busy or does not answer, press the flashing line to return to your
caller.
6. If the extension does not accept the call, ask them to hang up and your call is returned (or
press the flashing line).
Placing a call on hold
1. Press the Hold button ( you may replace the handset)
2. To retrieve a held call lift the handset then press the flashing line

Muting a call
1. Press the Mic key, you will still hear the caller, but they will not hear you
2. To remove mute and resume your conversation, press the Mic key again.
Adjusting Volume
Handset Receiver Volume
1. While on a call using the handset, use the Up/Down navigation keys to adjust the volume
2. The last used volume will become the default volume
Speaker Volume
1. While on a call using the Speaker function, use the Up/Down navigation keys to adjust the
volume
2. The last used volume will become the default volume
Adjust Ringer Volume
1. While the phone is ringing from an incoming call,, use the Up/Down navigation keys to
adjust the volume
2. The last used volume will become the default volume
Redial
1. Press the List soft key, then Redial soft key the last 10 external numbers are stored within
the system.
2. Use the navigation keys to select the desired number
3. Lift the handset or press # or the Speaker key to initiate the call
Conference calling
1. While on a call, press the More soft key, the soft keys will refresh
2. Press the Conf soft key, the caller will be placed on Hold
3. Dial the desired number, after the call is answered press the Add soft key
4. To begin the conference, press the Begin soft key
Setting Voicemail
1. Press Feature
2. Press Enter
3. Dial 550 for the day mailbox or 551 one for the night mailbox
4. Press Feature again.

Listening to voicemail
1. Call 555 from a phone
2. That will then ask you to insert the mailbox number
3. The day mailbox will usually be 550 , the night mailbox will usually be 551
4. It will then take you into the mailbox and play your messages
How to change your outgoing voicemail
1. Dial 555 from your handset
2. Dial the required mailbox number (usually 550 for day, 551 for night)
3. Press the Greeting softkey
4. Select the Greeting you wish to use. You can record up to 3 greetings for quick changes
i.e. a different message for Special events
See below for details on how to change the Greeting recordings.
How to change your Greeting recording
1. Dial 555 from your handset
2. Dial the required mailbox number (usually 550 for day, 551 for night)
3. Press the Greeting softkey
4. Select the Greeting you wish to change. You can have up to 3 greetings saved
5. Select Record and record you required message
6. Press the Speaker button to end the recording
7. This will now be the outgoing voice message for the chosen Mailbox
Manually Switch Modes
Your system is pre-programmed with Day / Night / Training Modes which will switch over
automatically according to the set schedule. Should you need to, you can manually switch
between these Modes from the handset. For example if you close early for any reason, you can
manually switch to the Night Mode which will divert all calls based on your Night Mode settings.
1. To change the Modes, press the Modes soft key. This will toggle through the available
modes in sequence.
2. Once the required Mode is selected it will show on the display the current mode.

How to change a ringtone
1. Press the Menu Key
2. Using the navigation keys, go to Settings then press OK or Select
3. Using the navigation keys, select User Settings
4. Select Incoming call
5. Select Ringtone
6. Pick external or internal
7. Select a ringtone
8. Press OK to confirm the choice
9. Press the Back or Home key to return to the main screen
