El Módem Ref. 5835 posibilita disponer de
rangos de conexiones de datos desde los
300 a los 56.000 bits por segundo (bps),
sobre la línea telefónica estándar o básica.
La Red Telefónica Conmutada (RTC, tam-
bién llamada Red Telefónica Básica o RTB)
es una red de comunicación diseñada fun-
damentalmente para voz, aunque puede
transmitir datos.
La tasa de transferencia en tiempo real que
proporciona el Módem RTC, va desde el
estándar industrial V.92 a 56Kbps de baja-
da para líneas digitales V.92 y rangos de
subida de 48Kbps. El Módem RTC nego-
ciará si es necesario, velocidades de cone-
xión más bajas automáticamente.
También proporciona compatibilidad con
los comandos AT estándar, facilitando la
integración de dicho producto con las apli-
caciones software actuales de Televés.
Además provee corrección de errores, así
como compresión de datos para acortar el
tiempo de transferencia, asegurando que
los datos vayan libres de errores.

The Ref. 5835 Modem makes available
data connection ranges from 300 to 56,000
bits per second (bps), on standard or basic
telephone lines. The Commutated
Telephone Network (CTN, also called the
Basic Telephone Network or BTN) is basi-
cally a voice communications network, alt-
hough it is also capable of data transfer.
The real-time transfer rate afforded by the
CTN Modem goes from the industrial V.92
standard to 56Kbps downloading for digital
V.92 lines and 48Kbps ranges of uploading.
The CTN Modem will, if necessary, automa-
tically negotiate lower connection veloci-
ties.
It is also compatible with AT standard com-
mands, easing this product’s integration
with Televés current software applications.
It also provides error correction, as well as
data compression to shorten transfer time,
ensuring that data transfer is free from
error.
