Inspect the tent site thoroughly for obstacles, underground and overhead
wires, pipes,etc. Ifnecessary, consult with your local ulity company prior
to installaon.

Install the corner legs before the intermediate legs.

Aach the boom of the tent top straps to the legs of the tent by inserng
middle of thestrap and ightenun il the strap is taut enough to secure the
canopy. Repeat this step at theremaining threecorner legs.
Once the top is secured on all corners, fold all extra strap length into the
white vinyl covers with velcro closure.
Aach tent top to the frame with the tent top straps. Bringthe “Y” straps
(located at the very top of the tent top straps) through the metal rings on
each ofthe tent top valances and secure the looped ends of the “Y” straps
the previous step.

Locate the two intermediate poles on both 30’ sides of the tent. On the
valance, where it comes down to a point and meets the pole, a single metal
ring is sewn onto the inside of the tent top. Aach the carabiner at the top of
the tent top strapto this metalring. No midpoint tent top straps are used on
the20’ sides.
The intermediate positioned tent top straps will also be attached to the
7' leg poles by inserting the hook into the hole at the bottom of the poles.
Locate the ratchet in the middle of the strap and tighten until the strapis
taut enough to secure the canopy.
Once the top is securedon the four intermediate poles, fold all extra strap
length into the white vinyl covers with velcro closure.

Locate the outguy straps and connect the carabiner at the top of the strap to
the ground 5’ out fromeach cornerleg and ratchet the strap unl it is taut.
Repeat this step on the three remaining corner legs.
Locate the remaining4 outguy straps. Connect the carabinerat the top of the

looped strap (found at the boom end of the outguystraps) around the head
legand ratchetthe strap unl it is taut. Repeat this step on the 3 remaining
intermediate legs.

Frame tents require approximately 1000 to 2000 lbs of holding power per anchor locaon (dependent on

becomes severe.
Severe storms have micro bursts of wind that may be recorded far in excess of the storm's highest
winds. The installer is responsible for properly securing the temporary structure (tent). Soil condions
will vary and the wind ind
load capabilies.

Note: The tent must be anchored properly for safe installaon. Additonal guys and stakes
may be required depending on soil and/or wind condions. Refer to the IFAI Procedural
Handbook for Safe Installaon and Maintenance of Tentage for calculang the proper
anchoring capacity for soil and or ground condions. Always follow manufacturer's recom-
mended anchoring techniques.
