INSTALLATION
Parts List
Each phone is equipped with the following parts:
1. Handset
2. Coiledcord
3. Flattelephonelinecord
4. Usermanual
5. Jackbox
Installation Procedure
1. Plugone endofthe"coiledcord"intothehandsetandtheotherendintothe
handset jack of the telephone.
2. Plugone end of theflat telephone linecord into thetelephone and the other end
intothewall-socket.Usetheenclosedwall-socketiftheexistingwall-socketin
youroffice/homeisnotcompatiblewiththetelephonelinecord.
3. Ifyou wish to mountyour phone onthe wall, makesure that you remove the
wall-mountingclipbyslidingitoutoftheslot,rotateit180degrees,andre-insertit
backintotheslot.Thiswillholdthehandsetinplacewhenthe phone is mounted
on the wall. (An optional wall-mounting bracket is required.)

Operation
TO ANSWER A CALL
When the phone rings:
ØLift thehandset to talk. Or, press to talk.
TO MAKE A CALL
1. Lifthandset, orpress ,or use thenumberpad toactivatethedialingmode.
2. Dial the numbers you wish to call.
TO REDIAL THE LAST NUMBER
To redial for one time:
1. Lift thehandset and press Redialkey.
To activate multiple redials)
2. Press theRedial key directly.
TO MUTE
PressMute to mute.
Switches off the microphone to prevent the call partner from overhearing.
TO PLACE A CALL ON HOLD
1. During a conversation, press theHold key ( the other party hears a music
tone )
2. Replace thehandset.
3. You can retrieve a call on hold by just lifting thehandset.
TO SET TIME AND DATE
1.In the idle mode, press Program till“PROGRAM”is shown on the LCD display
and release it.
2.Press Program.
3.Use the number pad to enter month, day, hour (24-hour) and minute, which
consists of two digits each.

LCD BRIGHTNESS ADJUSTABLE
1. In the idle mode, press Program till“PROGRAM”isshownontheLCDdisplay
and release it.
2. Press number 1~7 to find the suitable brightness. The bigger number is the
brighter is and vice versa.
3. PressHold to complete.
HANDSET VOLUME CONTROL
Thevolumeofthereceiveronthehandsetmaybeadjustedbysettingtheswitchto
one of the 2 positions: High (big dot);Low (small dot).
TO ADJUST RINGER VOLUME
The switch is on the right side middle part of the phone. Adjust the ringer
volume to a comfortable level.
TO ADJUST RINGER TONE
Theswitch isontherightsideupperpartofthe phone. Adjust the ringer tone to a
comfortablelevel.
TO ADJUST SPEAKER VOLUME
Used to adjust the speaker volume to a comfortable level.
CHANGE PIN NUMBER
1. In the idle mode, press Program till“PROGRAM”isshownontheLCDdisplay
and release it.
2. Enter 4-digit PIN number (default: 9999)
3. Enter a new set of 4-digit PIN number to replace the previous one.
4. Press Pause to complete.

ONE-TOUCH KEYS (M1~M20)
1. Intheidlemode,pressProgram till“STORE”isshownontheLCDdisplayand
releaseit.
2. Use number pad to enter the number you wish to store.
3. Press the one-touch key where the number is to be stored.
The sequence can be stored up to 48 digits includingRecall,PauseandSpeaker
key.
MEMORY KEYS MEM21 TO MEM80
1. Intheidlemode,pressProgram till“STORE”isshownontheLCDdisplayand
releaseit.
2. Use number pad to enter the number you wish to store.
3. PressMem key
4. Usethe number pad to enterthe numbersetwhere thetelephone number is to
bestored.
TO ACTIVATE SPEED DIALING KEYS
1. One-touch keys (M1~M20): Press one-touch keys directly.
2. Memory keys (Mem21~Mem80): PressMem and then enter the number set.
TO LOCK NUMBER PAD
1.Inidle mode, pressProgram till“PROGRAM”is shown on the LCD.
2. PressMem
3. Press ( is shown on the LCD display.)to complete.
TO UNLOCK NUMBER PAD
1. Inidle mode, pressProgram till“PROGRAM”is shown on the LCD.
2. EnterPIN number (default: 9999)
3. Press (The sign on the LCD display comes off.) tocomplete.

1.Enter PIN number (default: 9999)
2.Dial numbers
3.After hang up the phone, it will return to lock mode.
TO LOCK ONE-TOUCH KEYS AND MEMORY
KEYS
1.In idle mode,pressProgram till“PROGRAM”is shown“on the LCD.
2.Press1
3.Press the one-touch keys and memory keys you want to lock (M1~M20,
Mem21~Mem80).
4.Press PIN number.
5.PressRecall to complete.

6.Press the one-touch keys and memory keys you want tounlock (M1~M20,
Mem21~Mem80).

TO UNLOCK ONE-TOUCH KEYS AND
MEMORY KEYS FOR DIALING ONE-TIME
ONLY
1.Press the one-touch keys and memory keys you want to dial.
2.Enter PIN number (default: 9999), the numbers key will be dialed out
automatically.
3.After conversation, hang up the phone, it will return to lock mode.

Operation
THE SPEAKER KEY
When work on handset mode:
The LED will light on in Red color when you make a call, and will go OFF
immediately when the handset is lifted up to talk.
MESSAGE WAITING INDICATION (OPTIONAL)
Can supply the message waiting indicator for Polarity Reverse signal, Soft Ring
signal, High Voltoge, FSK and DTMF.
CALLER ID DIALING
Thelast75incomingcallscanbesavedinthecallerIDlist. Youcanscrollthrough
your Caller ID list and find the number first.
1.In the idle mode, press either or key to move through the list of caller
records.
2.Press to place the call when the desired record appears on the display.
TO DELETE CALLER DISPLAY RECORDS
1.In the idle mode, press either or to access the caller display records.
2.Press 8for three seconds to delete all the caller records.
TO TRANSFER A CALL
1.PressRecall.
2.Press the extension number you want the call transferred to.
The function is only available if the phone is connected to a PBX system.
