audio channels and built-in Dolby® Digital Live technology, you get a breathtaking sound
experience that's like being at the movies: soundscapes nothing short of natural, charged with
explosive effects!
With the Aureon 7.1 PCI, you can appreciate DVDs at an entirely new level of audio quality. Front
and back, left and right, with you right in the middle. In computer games, surround sound
provides extreme, realistic suspense. Hear exactly what angle your enemy is sneaking up on
you from. Feel the explosions and effects – constant adrenaline rushes guaranteed!
Now you can finally hook up your PC directly to Dolby® Digital-supported amplifiers and digital
speaker systems, because the Aureon 7.1 PCI encodes every audio signal – in real time – into a
5.1 Dolby® Digital bitstream and sends it to your hi-fi system.
A single optical digital cable replaces what used to be up to 6 analog patch cables. This
guarantees greatly improved signal quality with significantly less susceptibility to interference.
With numerous inputs and outputs, the Aureon 7.1 PCI is highly flexible and ready for just about
every application, including VoIP apps. The card has 4 analog stereo outputs, one of which can
be used to plug in headphones. In addition, there is an analog stereo input for any line level
output device (such as a CD player), a microphone input as well as an optical digital input and
output.
