THIS DOCUMENT IS FOR USE BY CUSTOMERS WHO PURCHASE THE REFERENCED TESLINKTM PRODUCTS FROM GILL
ELECTRONICS, INCORPORATED OR ITS AFFILIATES (GILL). NEITHER THIS DOCUMENT NOR THE INFORMATION IN THIS
DOCUMENT IS INTENDED FOR DISTRIBUTION TO, OR USE BY, END USERS OF GILL PRODUCTS WHICH INCORPORATE
TESLINKTM COMPONENTS. BY PURCHASING TESLINKTM PRODUCTS FROM GILL, EACH CUSTOMER ASSUMES, AND SHALL

INCLUDE THOSE SET FORTH BELOW AND OTHER WARNINGS AND INFORMATION AS THE CUSTOMER DETERMINES
NECESSARY AND APPROPRIATE.

•Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet before removing

This device complies with FCC/IC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment and meets the FCC radio
frequency (RF) Exposure Guidelines and RSS-102 of the IC radio frequency (RF) exposure rules only when installed according to the
requirements in this installation document.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Gill Electronics could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules
when installed according to the instructions contained within this document. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy, and,
if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there
is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna/device
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver

SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE CONSIDERATIONS

The customer is responsible for taking all steps necessary and appropriate for proper installation of TesLinkTM products to insure their
safe operation including RF exposure requirements and all other applicable regulations. For the purpose of this document the “installer”
is referred to as the person who is doing the actual installation of the TesLinkTM product.
Safety is dependent on a proper installation of a TesLinkTM product. There are no adjustments required at any time of the electrical
components within the transmitter.
Do not open the transmitter housings or make modifications to the TesLinkTM transmitter or components unless expressly
approved in writing by an authorized representative of Gill Electronics. Any changes or modifications will void the product
warranty.
During Installation
•DO NOT connect this charger to an electrical outlet until:
1. ALL other electrical connections are made
2. Mounting of ALL components is complete
3. VERIFYING that transmitter is mounted in such a manner that it is 19-30mm (~3/4” to 1-3/16”) from the charging surface.
4. VERIFYING all installation drawing requirements are being adhered to.
•DO NOT install equipment or route wiring cords in the path of any walkways or moving components.
•BEFORE drilling into the work surface, make sure that the equipment has no metal objects or structures within 25mm (~1”)
around (XY) the charging area.
•When drilling into the work surface, DO make sure that both sides of the surface are clear of anything that could be damaged
•The charging area on top of the work surface/furniture must be indicated in some manner
After Installation
• Test the transmitter to ensure that it is working properly (see installation instructions for LED indicator).
• File these instructions in a safe place and refer to them when re-installing.
WARNING:
Failure to follow all safety precautions and instructions may result in death, serious injury, or property damage. The installer
assumes responsibility for such installation precautions and instructions and for any failure to follow them.
May cause interference with touch screen/pad for some electronic devices. If issue is noted cycle phone device power button
to clear and do not use while charging.

not consistent with the original manufacturer specifications and recommendations for such products or components.

CERTAIN PRE-INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS
Gill Electronics is responsible for ensuring products meet all regulatory requirements and provide instructions to ensure a proper
installation. The customer is responsible for taking all steps necessary and appropriate for safe and proper installation of actual
TesLink™ products. See ensuing installation drawing for detailed requirements.

IMPORTANT –Under no circumstances should the installer use or supply the end user with a power supply that was not originally
provided with the TesLinkTM product.
