Proper Use
The KB 42 BLUETOOTH MODULE is an exten-
sion for the CD receiver KB 42 to enable Blue-
tooth®connections to compatible external
players (e.g. smartphones).
Only use the KB 42 BLUETOOTH MODULE in
connection with the CD receiver KB 42 and
only as described in this user manual. Any
other use will be deemed as not in accordance
with the instructions and may lead to damage
of property or persons.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for dam-
age caused by improper use.
The KB 42 BLUETOOTH MODULE is intended
for private use.
Before the start-up of the KB 42
BLUETOOTH MODULE, please first
read the safety notes and user
manual carefully. This is the only way to use
all functions safely and reliably. Store the user
manual in a safe place and also be sure to
pass it on to any subsequent owner.

Safety Notes
WARNING: Don’t use the KB 42 BLUE-
TOOTH MODULE in environments with
danger of explosion. Only use it in locations
where wireless radio transmission is allowed.
NOTICE: Protect the KB 42 BLUETOOTH
MODULE so that it does not become wet, pro-
tect it from heat and mechanical influences
(e.g. severe shocks, pressure or falling).
Use
1. Turn your KB 42 on.
2. Insert the KB 42 BLUETOOTH MODULE in
the designed jack on the back of the device
so that the label “KB 42 Bluetooth Module”
is pointing up.
3. Switch your KB 42 back on.
4. To connect the devices with each other,
proceed as described in the user manual
for your KB 42.
Protecting The Environment
Old devices must not be disposed of with
household waste!
If the device is no longer operational,
every consumer is required by law
to dispose of old devices separate-
ly from household waste, e.g. at a
collection point run by the communal author-
ity/boroughs. This ensures that old devices
are recycled in a professional manner and
also rules out negative consequences for the
environment.
For this reason, electrical equipment is
marked with the adjacent symbol.
