Iftheunit’scaseormainscableisdefectiveorshows
othersignsofvisibledamage,disconnectthepower
plugimmediatelyanddonotoperatetheunit.
• Thestandbybuttondoesnotdisconnecttheunitform
thepowersupply.Forthisreason,arrangetheunitso
thatthepowerplugiseasilyaccessiblesothatyou
canquicklydisconnectitfromthemains.
• Iftheunitemitssmokeorsmellsofburningorother
unusualodours,disconnectitimmediatelyfromthe
powersupplyanddonotoperateit.

sibleandnoventslotsareblocked.
• Neveropentheunit’shousing.

case.Thereareelectricalandmechanicalpartsinthis
unitwhicharenecessaryinordertoavoidexposureto
sourcesofdanger.

• Donotinsertanyobjectsthroughtheventsinthe
casing.
• Onlyusetheunitinindoorareas.
• Donotoperatetheunitindampareasandprotectit

Alsotakecarenottostandvasesorothercontain-
erslledwithliquidonornearthespeakerinorder
toavoidliquidgettingintothecase.Ifwaterorother
foreignobjectspenetratethecase,immediately
disconnectthepowerplugandifapplicable,remove

• Placethespeakersinsuchawaythattheycannotbe
knockedoverunseenandmakesurethatthecables
donotposeatriphazard.
• Ifmountingthespeakersonthewall,makesurethat
thejobiscarriedoutbyaprofessional.Verifythecar-
ryingcapacityofthewalls.
• Carefullyfollowtheinstallationinstructions.
• Donotplacetheunitnearsourcesofheat(e.g.heat-
ers,ovens,otherheatgeneratingequipmentsuchas
ampliersetc.).
