MANTENIMIENTO
Asegurarse de mantener el equipo limpio y de que el quemador esté siempre sin obstruc-
ciones. Los aparatos de propano rara vez requieren servicio siempre y cuando las válvulas
y los orificios se mantengan lejos de la mugre y el polvo. Siempre soplar a la válvula para
limpiarla antes de conectarla al cilindro.

HEATER ASSEMBLY – ASSEMBLE OUTDOORS
Step 1 .Use only the approved 16.4 oz/465 g disposable propane cylinder ap-
proved for use by the United States Department of Transportation DOT-NRC
232/290 M1110.
Step 2 .Make sure that the burner control valve knobs are turned off. Twist in a
clockwise direction.
Step 3 .Please check all connections for leaks using soapy water. Bubbles will form
if there is a leak present.

propane appliance and that it will serve you for many years to come. We encourage you to read and
understand each step of the set-up and safety operation instructions prior to working with this propane

GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION
• NEVER use in an enclosed area.
• DO NOT use heater while sleeping.
• Always use heater in the upright position.
• DO NOT expose the propane cylinder to excessive heat.
• Never operate heater with missing or damaged parts or mantles.
• Always inspect heater, propane cylinder and connections for damage, debris or dirt before attaching
the heater to the propane cylinder.
• Always attach/detach propane cylinder outdoors away from any open flame or pilot lights and only
when the heater is cool.
• When storing or transporting heater, always disconnect the propane cylinder and store it in a cool, well
ventilated location, in an upright position.
• Be sure connection to propane cylinder is tightly secure (hand tighten only) prior to each use.
• Never operate the heater near any flammable liquid or vapors. Keep all flammable or combustible
materials beyond the clearance zone as indicated on the back panel of this booklet.
• Discontinue operation and close valve if:
– ambient temperature drops below -10˚ F.
– there is no fuel remaining in the propane cylinder
– combustion becomes unstable
– lighting cannot be performed quickly and easily
– you experience repeated flame outs
• Never leave heater unattended when hot or in use.
• KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
NOTE: AN IMPACT TO THE REGULATOR AREA COULD
DAMAGE THE REGULATOR AND FAIL TO LIGHT CORRECTLY,
RESULTING IN MELTING PARTS.

Paso 5 . Cuando esté seguro de que no hay pérdidas, podrá proceder a
configurar / encender su calentador.
ENCENDIDO EL CALENTADOR
Paso 1 . Gire la perilla de la válvula de control en el sentido de las agujas del reloj hasta la
configuración alta. Presione el botón de liberación de gas y sostenga; comenzará a
fluir gas.
Paso 2 . Coloque una llama en el componente calefactor.
Paso 3 . Al encender, mantenga el botón de liberación de gas presionado durante 60 se-
gundos y después suelte. La calentador debe permanecer encendida.
Paso 4 . Ahora podrá regular la calentador como desee.
CÓMO UTILIZAR SU CALENTADOR
Paso 1 . Después de encender la calentador, ajuste al nivel de calor deseado.
Paso 2 . Mantenga a los niños, mascotas y materiales inflamables muy lejos del quemador
encendido.
Paso 3 . Mientras que se encuentre encendida, NO toque el área de calor. Durante el funcio-
namiento sólo debe tocarse la perilla de control.
Paso 4 . Las superficies de la calentador están muy calientes y no debe manipularse ni mov-
erse, excepto después de cerrarse.
Paso 5 . Deje enfriar la calentador durante 15 minutos antes de moverla o guardarla.

DO YOU SMELL GAS? IF YES, THERE IS A LEAK.

DO NOT USE HEATER IF IT IS LEAKING.
WHEN YOU ARE SURE THERE ARE NO LEAKS,
YOU MAY PROCEED TO SETUP/LIGHTING YOUR HEATER.
Step 4 .When you are sure there are no leaks, you may proceed to setup/lighting
your heater.
SETUP/LIGHTING YOUR HEATER
Step 1 .Turn the control valve knob counter clockwise to high. Press the gas release
button and hold, gas will begin to flow.
Step 2 .Place a flame to the heating element.
Step 3 .Upon ignition, keep gas release button depressed for 60 seconds and then
release. Heater should remain lit.
Step 4 .You may now regulate heater as you choose.
Step 5 .If heater fails to light, turn valve to off position, wait 60 seconds and repeat
steps 1-4.
USING YOUR HEATER
Step 1 .After burner has ignited, adjust valve to desired heat level.
Step 2 .While ignited DO NOT touch the metal reflector or safety grid.
Step 3 .Keep children, pets and flammable materials well away from ignited burn-
er. See clearance zone diagram of this booklet.
Step 4 .Heater surfaces are very hot and should not be handled or moved, except
after being shut down.
Step 5 .Allow heater to cool for 15 minutes before storage.

• Siempre conectar/desconectar el cilindro de propano al aire libre lejos de cualquier fuente de fuego o
luces de pilotos y solo cuando la calentador esté fría.
• Al almacenar o transportar la calentador, siempre desconectar el cilindro de propano y guardar en una
ubicación fría y bien ventilada en posición erguida.
• Asegurarse que la conexión al cilindro de propano esté bien asegurada (apretada a mano solamente)
antes de cada uso.
• Nunca operar la calentador cerca de líquidos o vapores inflamables. Mantener todos los materiales
inflamables o combustibles lejos de la zona segura tal como se indica en la parte trasera de este manual.
• Terminar la operación y cerrar la válvula si:
– la temperatura ambiente desciende a menos de -10˚ F.
– ya no hay combustible en el cilindro de propano
– la combustión se vuelve inestable
– no se puede encender rápida y fácilmente
– hay flamazos repetidos
• Nunca dejar la calentador desatendida cuando esté caliente o en uso.

MAINTENANCE
Be sure to keep equipment clean and make sure burner is always unobstructed. Propane appliances
seldom require service as long as you keep valves and orifices away from dirt and dust. Always blow
the valve clean before connecting it to a cylinder.

als and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. All implied warranties
relating to this product, including without limitation, the warranties or merchantability and fitness for a
particular purchase, are also limited in duration to one (1) year from the date of purchase. Some states
do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply
to you. This warranty extends to the original consumer purchaser only and does not extend to subse-
quent purchasers or other transferees. This warranty does not cover damage for wear and tear, abuse,
improper use or alteration and it is the sole express warranty relating to this product. Call the Texsport

required and must accompany the return of the defective product. THERE IS HEREBY EXCLUDED FROM
