a. Makesurethateachpersonwhohelpsyoureadsand
followsallwarningsandinstructionsthatapply.

b. Topreventinjurytoyourback,usegoodpostureand
properbodymechanicswhenyouliftorsupportthe

7. Inspectandmaintainthisdeviceregularly.Ifyoudetecta
problem,makesuretoserviceorrepairtheitembeforeuse.
8. Atleastonceayear,haveacompleteinspection,safetycheck
andserviceofyourchairmadebyanauthorizedsupplier.
9. Checkallcomponentsregularlyandconsultyoursupplierto
replaceitemsforwhichyouseeanytears,ripsorfraying.Keep
foreignobjectsfromenteringthereceiverpartsoflocking
bucklesandinsuretheylatchateachuse.
10. Someofthescrewsboltsandnutsonthisdevicearespecial
high‐strengthfasteners.
11. ONLYusefastenersprovidedbyyoursupplier.
12. Over‐orunder‐tightenedfastenersmayfailorcausedamageto
chairparts.
13. Ifboltsorscrewsbecomeloose,tightenthemassoonasyou
can.
14. Therafinrecommendsthatallfastenersbecheckedforwear,
suchaslooseboltsorbrokencomponentsevery3monthsor
asneeded.
15. Loosefastenersshouldberetightenedaccordingtothe
installationinstructions.

CLEANINGUPHOLSTERY,WEBBINGAND/ORFABRICS:
Surfacesmaybewipedcleanwithmildsoapandwater.Donotuse
harshdetergents,cleaningagentsorabrasives.Avoidtheuseof
polishesthatcanmakethesurfacesslipperyaftercleaning.

Overtime,thehooksurfacecanpickuplintandotherdebristhatcan
affectitsabilitytogriptheloopsurface.Cleaningdebrisoutofthe
hooksissimilartocleaninghairbrushes–andusingastiffbrushor
anotherpieceofhookarethebestmethods.Itcantakesomeeffort
becausethehooksinthetapearedesignedtograb.Theoptimal
solutionisprevention:thehookportionshouldbecoveredatalltimes,
soitdoesnotgrabontoanythingitshouldnot–likeablanketorhair.
Alwaysengagethehookandloopbeforewashing.

CLEANINGPOSITIONINGCOMPONENTSANDHARDWARE:
Wipecleanwithmildsoapandwater.Donotuseharshdetergents,
cleaningagentsorabrasives.Avoidtheuseofpolishesthatcanmakethe
