tight.

a. Makesurethateachpersonwhohelpsyoureadsand
followsallwarningsandinstructionsthatapply.

foreignobjectsfromenteringthereceiverpartsoflocking
bucklesandinsuretheylatchateachuse.

high‐strengthfasteners.

12. Over‐orunder‐tightenedfastenersmayfailorcausedamageto
chairparts.
13. Ifboltsorscrewsbecomeloose,tightenthemassoonasyou
can.
14. Therafinrecommendsthatallfastenersbecheckedforwear,
suchaslooseboltsorbrokencomponentsevery3monthsor
asneeded.

polishesthatcanmakethesurfacesslipperyaftercleaning.
Overtime,thehooksurfacecanpickuplintandotherdebristhatcan
affectitsabilitytogriptheloopsurface.Cleaningdebrisoutofthe
hooksissimilartocleaninghairbrushes–andusingastiffbrushor
anotherpieceofhookarethebestmethods.Itcantakesomeeffort
becausethehooksinthetapearedesignedtograb.Theoptimal
solutionisprevention:thehookportionshouldbecoveredatalltimes,
soitdoesnotgrabontoanythingitshouldnot–likeablanketorhair.
Alwaysengagethehookandloopbeforewashing.
