Important Instructions
WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES, BASIC PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED
TO REDUCE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRICAL SHOCK AND INJURY TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY,
INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
1. Read all instructions before using this heater.
2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Keep
combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3’
(0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
3. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and
whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
5. Do not operate the heater after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any
manner. Disconnect the power at the service panel and have the heater inspected by a reputable
electrician before reusing.

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS HEATER.
NOTE: There may be a trace of smoke or odour when the unit is first operated. Don’t be alarmed. This
indicates that a drop of oil fell on the heating coil during the manufacturing process. It will quickly
evaporate and should not reoccur.
Make sure that the room in which the appliance is located is well ventilated during this operation. It is
normal for the appliance to emit small cracking sounds when you turn it on for the first time. Do not
be alarmed.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
CAUTION: High temperature, risk of fire, keep electrical cords, drapery, furnishings, and other
combustibles at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and away from the side and rear.
PET OWNERS WARNING: The health of some small pets including birds are extremely sensitive
to the fumes produced during the first-time use of many appliances. These fumes are not harmful
to humans, but we recommend that you do not use your heater around birds and small pets

Installation Instructions
All wiring procedures and connections shall be in accordance with the relevant national and local codes.
Before installation:
Disconnect the main supply connection.
The heater must be connected to an individual branch circuit protected by a 55 Amp circuit breaker.
Supply cables must be equipped with a dual pole circuit breaker rated at least 240V 55A/pole as the main

WARNING: All wiring must be installed by a certified/licensed electrician. The heater must be
grounded in accordance with all national and local building codes.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapours
and/or liquids in the vicinity of the heater.
CAUTION: HIGH TEMPERATURE, RISK OF FIRE.
Keep electrical cords, drapery, furnishings, and other combustibles at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from
the front of the heater and away from the sides and rear.

1. Open the package; take out the heater and the foot stand parts.
Here is the list of all parts in the package:
2. Use axle (# 1), bushing (# 5) and 12mm ID
washer (# 7) to assemble foot stand (# 3) and
wheels (# 4) as shown below:

3. Tighten the nuts (# 6) to the wheels as
shown below:

4. Use the screw (# 10), washer (# 9), and nut
(# 8) to assemble the handle to the foot
stand as shown below. Tighten the nuts.
6. Run the electrical power supply cable in
flexible conduit and connect to the wiring
compartment.
7. Make the connections properly with
connectors which are suitable for the
conductor size, including ground wires. After
making the connections, arrange the pigtail
leads of unit and power supply wires in the
wiring compartment.
5. Use the rubber pad (#13), washer (#12), and the
knobs (# 11) to assemble the heater to the foot
stand. Tighten the knobs as shown below:

Wiring Instructions
1. Open the wiring cover: 2. Connect the black live wire to L1, white live
wire to L2 of the terminal block.
3. Re-install the wiring cover to the heater.

WARNING: The heater must be properly installed before it is used.
Operating Instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, EXPLOSION, OR ARC FLASH:
•Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe electrical work practices. See
NFPA 70E.
•A circuit breaker must be installed and serviced only by qualified electrical personnel.
•Always use a properly rated voltage sensing device to confirm power is o .
•Switch the ON/OFF switch to ON position to turn on the heater. Then turn the thermostat clockwise
to the furthest position. The fan should start, the unit begins producing heat. When the desired
ideal setting. The heater will automatically cycle around this preset temperature. To increase the
temperature, turn the thermostat knob clockwise. To lower the temperature, turn the thermostat
counterclockwise.
•To turn o the heater, switch the ON/OFF switch to OFF position.

Maintenance and Cleaning
There is no user maintenance necessary except for regular cleaning as the following description. All
other servicing or maintenance should be performed by qualified service personnel.
Before any cleaning, make sure that:
1. Disconnect power supply at the source.
2. Wait for 60 minutes to ensure the heating element has cooled down, and your heater is now ready
for cleaning.
Regular Cleaning:
1. Do not use cleaning liquid or other chemicals to spray on the unit.
2. Interior dust can often be removed by using a vacuum cleaner with a crevice tool attachment.

Warranty
Your THERMO SPHERE heater has warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of
one (1) year from the date of original purchase. Please keep your proof of purchase (receipt) for any
warranty claims. Warranty does not cover wear and tear, and damages arisen from misuse or use not
in accordance with the product instructions.
