Cleaning & maintenance
Safety precautions
The power cord of the heated animal carpet has to be unplugged from the wall socket and
disconnected from the connection socket of the heating carpet prior to cleaning. The car plug
version must be disconnected from the electrical system of the vehicle.
The power cord/car plug has to be unplugged using the housing, do not pull the cable.
Do not use any acid- or solvent-containing cleaning agents as this holds the danger of
corrosion and damage of the electrical parts of the thermodog heated animal carpet.
Cleaning
A common household vacuum cleaner can be used for the cleaning of the heated animal carpet.
Any stains should generally be removed immediately as dried on dirt is harder to get rid of. Persistent stains on
the animal carpet or the power supply can be cleaned using a damp cloth.
Steel brushes, steel wool, sharp and pointy items or abrasive & solvent-containing cleaning agents must not be
used for cleaning the animal carpet. The inside heating element can be removed for a thorough cleaning of the
heating carpet. The cover can be hand washed, no harsh or solvent-containing cleaning agents are to be used.
The thermodog heated animal carpet may only be put into operation once it has completely dried.

Disposal
The thermo Infrared Heating Carpet must not be disposed of with the common household garbage, but can be
returned free of charge at communal collection points for a WEEE-compliant disposal and recycling.
Our company is registered under the WEEE-Reg.-Nr. DE 29813749 in accordance of the WEEE in the waste
electronic register.
Mind the legal requirements when disposing of the device. Do not dispose of with the common household
garbage.
Introduce the device to an appropriate and environmentally friendly recycling.
Declaration of conformity
By submitting the EC declaration of conformity we conrm that the heating devices we manufacture and market
comply with all relevant and essential health and safety requirements.

Umgang mit dieser Gebrauchsanweisung
Diese Gebrauchsanweisung richtet sich an den Betreiber dieses Gerätes.
Sie gibt Anweisungen und Hinweise für die einwandfreie Inbetriebnahme und den sicheren Betrieb der
thermodog beheizten Tierliegematte.
Bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung daher gewissenhaft auf.
Es ist unerlässlich, vor Inbetriebnahme diese Gebrauchsanweisung gelesen und verstanden zu haben.
Zum besseren Verständnis wird der Text dieser Anweisung durch Symbole begleitet.
Mit dem Warnzeichen werden alle Sicherheitsanweisungen gekennzeichnet bei deren
Nichtbeachtung Verletzungsgefahr für Personen und Tiere besteht.

Die thermodog beheizte Tierliegematte ist nach dem Stand der Technik konstruiert und gebaut.
Sie ist bei bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung ein sicheres Produkt. Die nachstehenden Anweisungen und
Hinweise für den Betrieb der Tierliegematte erfolgten aufgrund unserer Erkenntnisse und Erfahrungen nach
bestem Wissen. Technische Änderungen behalten wir uns vor. Für Schäden, welche durch Nichtbeachtung
nachstehender Anweisungen und Hinweise eintreten, haften wir nicht.

General instructions
• Do not bend, kink, cut, puncture or pierce the heated animal carpet.
• The thermodog heated animal carpet must only be used for the intended purpose as an animal heating mat,
for example indoors, in dog houses, kennels or in a vehicle.
• The thermodog heated animal carpet must not be operated when obvious damages to the heating mat,
the power cord, the power supply plug or the car plug are visible. The product must then be disposed of
according to local regulations or can be sent back to the manufacturer for repair.
• The animal carpet must not be machine washed or ironed!
• The product may only be used outdoors if protection against humidity and moisture is guaranteed.
• The surface on which the heated animal carpet is placed should be a at, not to soft area. This will prevent
the product from deforming and therefore prevent kinking and the destruction of the internal heating element.
• It is not allowed to operate the heated animal carpet in areas with adverse environmental conditions such as:
o moisture or high humidity
o dust, ammable gases, vapours or solvents
Any use of the product other than described is prohibited and may damage the product. Furthermore it involves
dangers such as short-circuit, re, electric shock, etc. The entire product must not be modied or altered in any
way!
Safety instructions:
It is not permitted to completely cover the thermodog heated animal carpet, using a thin, diathermic cover is not
a problem. This product may only be used as a heating source for animals!
Non-compliance with the safety instructions will terminate the declaration of conformity and will lead to the loss
of any warranty and liability claims!
Electrical installation
The power cord of the thermodog heated animal carpet has to be laid in such a way that it
does not pose an accident hazard. Mechanical stress of the power cord must be avoided. The
thermodog heated animal carpet may only be put into operation if no damages to the product
are visible. The entire system must be professionally protected against short circuit. The
unauthorised opening of the thermodog heated animal carpet, the power supply plug or the
car plug will terminate the declaration of conformity and results in the loss of all warranty and
liability claims! Opening the car plug for the purpose of changing the fuse is excluded from this!
Opening the thermodog heated animal carpet or power supply accessories is dangerous to life!
Operation
Initial operation
The operation of the thermodog heated animal carpet assumes that you have fully read and understood the
operating manual. All improper and incorrect utilisations which do not serve the intended use of the device are to
be refrained from for personal and animal health and safety!
The product can easily be put into operation. Simply connect the connection socket of the animal carpet with
the power adapter and plug the power adapter into a wall socket. The car plug version requires you to plug the
cigarette lighter plug into the 12V socket provided in your vehicle (if necessary, switch on the ignition). 7

Gebrauchshinweise
• Die Tierliegematte nicht knicken, nicht zuschneiden, nicht durchstechen oder durchbohren.
• Die beheizte Tierliegematte ist ausschließlich zum vorgesehenen Zweck als Tierliegematte, z.B. im Haus, in
der Hundehütte, im Zwinger oder in einem Fahrzeug zu verwenden.
• Bei o󰀨ensichtlichen Schäden an der Tierliegematte sowie an der Zuleitung, am Netzteil oder am KFZ-Stecker
darf die Tierliegematte nicht mehr in Betrieb genommen werden und ist den Vorschriften entsprechend zu
entsorgen oder dem Hersteller zur Reparatur zu senden.
• Die beheizte Tierliegematte darf nicht in der Waschmaschine gewaschen und nicht gebügelt werden!
• Eine Nutzung der Tierliegematte im Freien ist nur zulässig, wenn ein Schutz gegen Feuchtigkeit und
Nässe gewährleistet ist.
• Die Auageäche der Liegematte sollte ein ebener, nicht zu weicher Untergrund sein. Dadurch verhindern Sie
ein Verformen der Liegematte und ein daraus resultierendes Knicken und die Zerstörung des innenliegenden
Heizelements.
• Kein Betrieb der Tierliegematte an Orten mit folgenden Gegebenheiten:
o Nässe oder hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit
o Staub, brennbare Gase, Dämpfe oder Lösungsmittel
Eine andere Verwendung als zuvor beschrieben ist unzulässig und führt zur Beschädigung dieses Produktes.
Darüber hinaus ist dies mit Gefahren, wie z.B. Kurzschluss, Brand, elektrischer Schlag etc. verbunden.
Das gesamte Produkt darf nicht geändert bzw. umgebaut werden!
Sicherheitshinweise:
Das komplette Abdecken der beheizten Tierliegematte ist nicht zulässig! Eine dünne, wärmedurchlässige
Auage stellt jedoch kein Problem dar. Das Nichtbeachten dieser Sicherheitshinweise führt zum Erlöschen der
Konformitätserklärung und zum Verlust jeglicher Gewährleistungs-, Garantie- und Haftungsansprüche!
Elektrische Installation
Das Anschlusskabel zur Tierliegematte muss so verlegt sein, dass es keine Unfall-
gefahr darstellt. Eine mechanische Belastung der Zuleitung muss vermieden werden.
Die beheizte Tierliegematte darf nur angeschlossen und in Betrieb genommen werden, wenn
sie keine erkennbaren Beschädigungen aufweist. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Gesamtanlage
fachgerecht abgesichert ist. Das unbefugte Ö󰀨nen des Heizelements, des Steckernetzteils
oder des KFZ-Steckers führt zum Erlöschen der Konformitätserklärung und zum Verlust
jeglicher Gewährleistungs-, Garantie- und Haftungsansprüche! Das Ö󰀨nen des KFZ-Steckers
zum Wechseln der Sicherung ist hiervon ausgeschlossen! Beim Ö󰀨nen der Tierliegematte
oder des Steckernetzteils besteht Lebensgefahr!
Bedienung
Inbetriebnahme
Jede Handhabung an der Tierliegematte setzt voraus, dass Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung vollständig gelesen
und verstanden haben. Im Interesse der Gesundheit und der Sicherheit sind alle missbräuchlichen Anwendungen
zu unterlassen, welche nicht der bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung des Gerätes dienen.
Die beheizte Tierliegematte kann kinderleicht in Betrieb genommen werden. Verbinden Sie einfach die
Anschlussbuchse der Tierliegematte mit dem Steckernetzteil und stecken Sie das Steckernetzteil in eine
Steckdose. Bei der KFZ-Variante stecken Sie den Zigarettenanzünderstecker in die vorgesehene 12V-Buchse in
Ihrem Fahrzeug (ggfs. ist die Zündung einzuschalten). 3

Reinigung & Wartung
Sicherheitsmaßnahmen
Ziehen Sie vor allen Reinigungsarbeiten das Steckernetzteil aus der Steckdose und entfernen
Sie das Netzkabel vom Heizelement. Die KFZ-Variante muss vom Bordnetz getrennt werden.
Das Netzteil / den KFZ-Stecker stets am Gehäuse anfassen, nie an der Leitung ziehen.
Verwenden Sie keine säure- oder lösungsmittelhaltigen Reinigungsmittel.
Es besteht die Gefahr der Korrosion und der Beschädigung von Elektrik und Elektronik.
Reinigung
Grundsätzlich sollte jede Verschmutzung sofort entfernt werden, da das Antrocknen von Rückständen die
Reinigung erschwert. Zur Reinigung kann ein haushaltsüblicher Staubsauger verwendet werden. Bei stärkerer
Verschmutzung, auch am Steckernetzteil, verwenden Sie ein feuchtes Baumwolltuch.
Verwenden Sie bei der Reinigung auf keinen Fall Stahlbürsten, Stahlwolle oder scharfe, spitze bzw. scheuern-
de Gegenstände oder scharfe, lösungsmittelhaltige Reiniger.
Für eine gründliche Reinigung muss das Heizelement der beheizten Tierliegematte entfernt werden und der
Bezug dann mit Handwäsche ohne scharfe oder lösungsmittelhaltige Mittel gereinigt werden.
Die beheizte Tierliegematte erst wieder zusammenbauen und verwenden, wenn sie vollständig getrocknet ist.

Reinigung & Wartung
Sicherheitsmaßnahmen
Ziehen Sie vor allen Reinigungsarbeiten das Steckernetzteil aus der Steckdose und entfernen
Sie das Netzkabel vom Heizelement. Die KFZ-Variante muss vom Bordnetz getrennt werden.
Das Netzteil / den KFZ-Stecker stets am Gehäuse anfassen, nie an der Leitung ziehen.
Verwenden Sie keine säure- oder lösungsmittelhaltigen Reinigungsmittel.

Gebrauchshinweise

It is a safe product when used as described and intended.
The following instructions for the safe operation of the heated animal carpet are based on our know-how and
experience to the best of knowledge. Right of technical modication reserved.
We take no responsibility for damages resulting from the noncompliance of the following instructions and
warnings.

Diese Gebrauchsanweisung richtet sich an den Betreiber dieses Gerätes.
Sie gibt Anweisungen und Hinweise für die einwandfreie Inbetriebnahme und den sicheren Betrieb der
thermodog beheizten Tierliegematte.
Bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung daher gewissenhaft auf.
Es ist unerlässlich, vor Inbetriebnahme diese Gebrauchsanweisung gelesen und verstanden zu haben.
Zum besseren Verständnis wird der Text dieser Anweisung durch Symbole begleitet.
Mit dem Warnzeichen werden alle Sicherheitsanweisungen gekennzeichnet bei deren
Nichtbeachtung Verletzungsgefahr für Personen und Tiere besteht.

Die thermodog beheizte Tierliegematte ist nach dem Stand der Technik konstruiert und gebaut.
Sie ist bei bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung ein sicheres Produkt. Die nachstehenden Anweisungen und
Hinweise für den Betrieb der Tierliegematte erfolgten aufgrund unserer Erkenntnisse und Erfahrungen nach
bestem Wissen. Technische Änderungen behalten wir uns vor. Für Schäden, welche durch Nichtbeachtung
nachstehender Anweisungen und Hinweise eintreten, haften wir nicht.

General instructions
• Do not bend, kink, cut, puncture or pierce the heated animal carpet.
• The thermodog heated animal carpet must only be used for the intended purpose as an animal heating mat,
for example indoors, in dog houses, kennels or in a vehicle.
• The thermodog heated animal carpet must not be operated when obvious damages to the heating mat,
the power cord, the power supply plug or the car plug are visible. The product must then be disposed of
according to local regulations or can be sent back to the manufacturer for repair.
• The animal carpet must not be machine washed or ironed!
• The product may only be used outdoors if protection against humidity and moisture is guaranteed.
• The surface on which the heated animal carpet is placed should be a at, not to soft area. This will prevent
the product from deforming and therefore prevent kinking and the destruction of the internal heating element.
• It is not allowed to operate the heated animal carpet in areas with adverse environmental conditions such as:
o moisture or high humidity
o dust, ammable gases, vapours or solvents
Any use of the product other than described is prohibited and may damage the product. Furthermore it involves
dangers such as short-circuit, re, electric shock, etc. The entire product must not be modied or altered in any
way!
Safety instructions:
It is not permitted to completely cover the thermodog heated animal carpet, using a thin, diathermic cover is not
a problem. This product may only be used as a heating source for animals!
Non-compliance with the safety instructions will terminate the declaration of conformity and will lead to the loss
of any warranty and liability claims!
Electrical installation
The power cord of the thermodog heated animal carpet has to be laid in such a way that it
does not pose an accident hazard. Mechanical stress of the power cord must be avoided. The
thermodog heated animal carpet may only be put into operation if no damages to the product
are visible. The entire system must be professionally protected against short circuit. The
unauthorised opening of the thermodog heated animal carpet, the power supply plug or the
car plug will terminate the declaration of conformity and results in the loss of all warranty and
liability claims! Opening the car plug for the purpose of changing the fuse is excluded from this!
Opening the thermodog heated animal carpet or power supply accessories is dangerous to life!
Operation
Initial operation
The operation of the thermodog heated animal carpet assumes that you have fully read and understood the
operating manual. All improper and incorrect utilisations which do not serve the intended use of the device are to
be refrained from for personal and animal health and safety!
The product can easily be put into operation. Simply connect the connection socket of the animal carpet with
the power adapter and plug the power adapter into a wall socket. The car plug version requires you to plug the
cigarette lighter plug into the 12V socket provided in your vehicle (if necessary, switch on the ignition). 7

Cleaning & maintenance
Safety precautions
The power cord of the heated animal carpet has to be unplugged from the wall socket and
disconnected from the connection socket of the heating carpet prior to cleaning. The car plug
version must be disconnected from the electrical system of the vehicle.
The power cord/car plug has to be unplugged using the housing, do not pull the cable.
Do not use any acid- or solvent-containing cleaning agents as this holds the danger of
corrosion and damage of the electrical parts of the thermodog heated animal carpet.
Cleaning
A common household vacuum cleaner can be used for the cleaning of the heated animal carpet.
Any stains should generally be removed immediately as dried on dirt is harder to get rid of. Persistent stains on
the animal carpet or the power supply can be cleaned using a damp cloth.
Steel brushes, steel wool, sharp and pointy items or abrasive & solvent-containing cleaning agents must not be
used for cleaning the animal carpet. The inside heating element can be removed for a thorough cleaning of the
heating carpet. The cover can be hand washed, no harsh or solvent-containing cleaning agents are to be used.
The thermodog heated animal carpet may only be put into operation once it has completely dried.

Disposal
The thermo Infrared Heating Carpet must not be disposed of with the common household garbage, but can be
returned free of charge at communal collection points for a WEEE-compliant disposal and recycling.
Our company is registered under the WEEE-Reg.-Nr. DE 29813749 in accordance of the WEEE in the waste
electronic register.
Mind the legal requirements when disposing of the device. Do not dispose of with the common household
garbage.
Introduce the device to an appropriate and environmentally friendly recycling.
Declaration of conformity
By submitting the EC declaration of conformity we conrm that the heating devices we manufacture and market
comply with all relevant and essential health and safety requirements.
