Please ensure you have thoroughly read and understood these
instructions and the safety notes before commencing installation.
Retain this leaflet for future reference.
Before operating remove the packaging and check product integrity. In
the case of defects or damages contact your dealer.
The TF2400S/TF2400W Fan Heater is designed to provide an instant
heat source for bathrooms, kitchens and small rooms.
The safety and installation instructions must be followed accurately.
Failure to do so will void the product warranty.

Ensure that the unit is installed correctly and
complies with local electrical regulations
Ensure that the unit is connected to 240V
power supply
Switch the unit off and unplug if it is not to be
used for a long period of time
When the unit is operating ensure that it is
not in contact with plastic or synthetic
surfaces
Before cleaning the unit ensure that the unit
has cooled down
Ensure that a qualified electrician connects
the unit to mains powers (when hardwiring)
and repairs if necessary
Leave children to touch or play with the unit
Cover or obstruct in any way the grilles on this
unit as this may block entry or exhaust airflow
Use in rooms with explosive gas or whilst
using flammable solvents or glues
Clean the product with water when connected
to power
Immerse the unit in water
Install or operate the appliance if the supply
cord is damaged. The cord must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent of
similarly qualified person in order to avoid a
hazard
Allow the supply cord to come into contact
with heated surfaces during operation
Leave the heater operating in small rooms if
the room is unoccupied or the occupant is
unable to leave the room or turn the unit off
Insert anything into any opening to remove
dust, lint or fluff
Install the heater immediately below or in
front of socket outlet
Install the heater so that the switches and
other controls can be touched by a person in
the bath or shower
Allow the unit to be used by persons
(including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the unit by a person
responsible for their safety

The TF2400S/TF2400W Bathroom Fan Heater is designed to be
mounted on the wall in the horizontal position.
The TF2400S/TF2400W has an IP rating of IPX0 which means it can
be used in bathrooms and areas subject to humidity as long as it is
not installed within the perimeter of baths and showers.
We recommend that the TF2400S/TF2400W Bathroom Heater is
installed a minimum of 200mm from the roof and 1800mm from the
floor, 700mm from any objects below and 250mm from walls and
other objects.

To attach the heater to the wall:
Remove the wall mounting base from the heater by using a large flat
head screwdriver to release the front clip from inside the base. Secure
the mounting base to the wall using the screws provided. The base
supplied with the heater must be used when attaching the heater to
the wall.
The electrical connection of this product must be completed by an
authorized person and must comply with all local electrical
regulations. The heater is to be installed so that all switches and
other controls can’t be touched by a person in the bath or shower.
After wiring is complete locate the heater on the mounting base and
press to lock into position.
The On/Off operation of this heater is controlled by the pull-cord
switch. Pull the pull cord to switch the on and off. The blue LED
indictor lights up when the heater is operating. An automatic
internal step-down thermostat will reduce the output of this
appliance when a comfortable room temperature is reached.

The heater requires regular cleaning to ensure trouble free operation.
To clean the heater, isolate the heater from the mains power supply
and use a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the heater. DO NOT use
any abrasive cleaners. Every 3 months use a vacuum clear to remove
dust, lint and fluff from the heater inlet and outlet grilles. Failure to
observe this procedure will invalidate the warranty. Ensure the heater
is dry before turning the mains power supply to the heater back on
again.

fault is shown to be caused by manufacture, materials or
workmanship providing the goods have been installed correctly and
according to installation instructions. This guarantee does not include
removal, freight or installation costs. Thermogroup’s products come
with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer
Law and you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major
failure & compensation for any other reasonable foreseeable loss or
damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced
if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not
amount to a major failure.
The TF2400S/2400W Fan Heater has a 2year warranty. To use the
warranty, repair or service the customer must provide purchase
invoice/receipt, and any other relevant details.
If the product develops a fault within the warranty period due to
normal wear and tear, Thermogroup at its discretion will recognise
whether it’s a faulty product or not. If it is impossible or not
economical for the manufacturer to repair the product, the
manufacturer will replace the faulty product with a new unit of the
same model or if there is no stock available of the same model as the
product, the manufacturer will replace the product with a new unit of
a similar size. No responsibility can be taken for altered dimensions
and lining up of existing holes.
The repair service offered within the warranty period only covers the
faults and problem as developed from the manufacturer’s errors. Any
damage caused by improper use or carelessness or incorrect wiring is
not covered.
Thermogroup is not responsible for any monetary loss or injuries
caused by improper use of this product.
