Commissioning of the inspection camera and operation with the camera cable
Press the on/off button for 1-2 seconds, to switch on the main unit. Insert the camera cable as straight as
possible into the area which you want to inspect. You should remember that the larger the bending of the
camera cable, the smaller the possible bending angle of the camera head. That means that moving the camera
head right or left is easier with a straight camera cable. The movable end of the camera cable has different
lengths depending on the models (see table page 18). Therefore the diameter of the opening has to be not less
than 1 cm greater as the length of the movable end of the camera head). Otherwise you cannnot properly move
the camera head or it will be too close to the object to be viewed. After inserting the camera cable you should
switch on the illumination .
When pulling out the camera cable please hold the movable end with the camera head as straight as possible.

2
•
Cleaning of the camera head
Hold the rigid end above the swiveling part of the camera cable (please do NOT hold at the swiveling part !) and
wipe off the dirt or moisture at the camera lens with a soft, damp cloth or with a damp cotton bud. The best cleaning
result you will achieve with commercial pure ethanol.
