Keep this instruction sheet for future reference as it includes
important information.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or injury. Do not leave
equipment when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use
and before servicing. Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a
handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or
corners. Keep cord away from heated surfaces. Do not unplug by
pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord. Do not
handle plug or equipment with wet hands. Turn off all controls
before unplugging. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Keep the
appliance and its cord out of reach of children. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Do not immerse cord, plugs or other parts
of the unit in water or other liquid. Misuse of the roduct may result
in the risk of re, electric shock and/or personal injury.
This
appliance is intended for household use only. Do not use outdoors.
Before plugging in the sterilizer for the rst time ensure that the
voltage is compatible with your electricity supply by checking the
label on the base of the unit. Appliances can be used by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. User maintenance other than
cleaning and descaling is not required for this product. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by children. The surfaces
are liable to get hot during use.

Always use on a at heat resistant surface. Do not move
appliance when in use. Use in a well ventilated area.
Do not sterilize electrical components. Do not touch hot surfaces,
allow to cool before handling. Do not operate any appliance with a
damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has
been damaged in any manner. If the supply cord is damaged it
must be changed by a qualied person in order to avoid a hazard.
Do not let the cord hang over edge of kitchen work surface or touch
hot surfaces. Do not use any accessories other than those supplied
with this appliance. This appliance contains a UV emitter. Do not
stare at the light source. If the UV light remains on when the door
is open or if the door is damaged or missing, please do not use the
sterilizer. Follow the instructions when changing the UV light.

Used electrical and electronic products should not be mixed
with general household waste. For proper disposal for treatment,
recovery and recycling, please take these products to designated
collection points.
In some countries you may be able to return your products to your
local retailer upon the purchase of a new product. Disposing of this
product correctly will help you save valuable resources and prevent
any possible effects on human health and the environment, which
could otherwise arise from inappropriate waste handling. Please
contact your local authority for details of your local collection point.

HOW TO USE
• Wash items you want to sterilize in warm soapy water, rinse and drain before placing in the sterilizer.
• Don’t put dripping wet items into the sterilizer, as water can gather at the base. If there is water at the base or
leaking from the sterilizer, please turn off the machine and wipe away water.
• Place the items inside the sterilizer. Separate all components and ensure all surfaces that need to be sterilized
are visible.
USAGE
Always use the sterilizer on a at heat resistant surface and keep it away from inammables and explosives.
Place it at least 4 inches away from a wall.
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of kitchen work surface or touch hot surfaces.
Do not move the sterilizer when in use.
Do not cover the sterilizer and keep your hands, face and other body parts away whilst using.

Setting up your sterilizer before use.
Clean your sterilizer before rst use. Refer to parts guide and diagram.
Do not connect to power at this stage.
1. Remove all parts from the box

3. Wipe clean your sterilizer before use with a damp cloth

• Place bottles facing upwards to help with the drying function.
• Plug into the power, press the on/off button then select the function you wish to use – sterilize only, dry only, auto
sterilize and dry or storage function.
• The screen will illuminate and ash to show the function when in use. The countdown timer will show how long is left
in the cycle.
• Do not take items out of the sterilizer during sterilization.
• When in use, hot air is released from the sterilizer. Please keep your hands, face and other body parts away.
• The sterilizer uses UV light which can cause damage to your eyes and skin. Please don’t stare at the light source.
• When the cycle is nished, the countdown will show 0 and emit a sound.
• Remove your items from the sterilizer. Be careful as they may still be warm, especially after drying.
• If you wish to leave the products inside the sterilizer you can use the storage mode which will keep them sterile.
• The UV lamp bulb will be hot after sterilization. Do not touch.
• There may be some residual heat after use. Do not touch hot surfaces, such as the shelf, until these have cooled
down.
• You may experience a faint odour on rst use. This is normal.
Baby bottles that have been sterilized in the UV sterilizer may become slightly yellowed in appearance.
This is nothing to worry about. The bottles are still safe to use.
TROUBLESHOOTING
• Remember - if you open the door to the sterilizer at any point during the cycle then the cycle will pause. If this
happens during sterilization its best to start that cycle again.
• To stop a function at any point press the button that is in use until the lights are no longer illuminated.
• If the sterilizer doesn’t work, allow it to cool for 5 minutes then try to restart.
• If any items block the outlet unplug the sterilizer, allow it to cool for 5 minutes, then remove all items and try again.
FAQs
Why do I have to position my sterilizer away from the wall?
We recommend a 4 inches gap to allow for ventilation, this protects your work surfaces and the unit.
If I leave my bottles in storage mode, how long will they remain sterile for?
In storage mode the sterilizer will sterilize and dry the product every 2 hours, until the sterilizer is switched off with the
power off button.
How often should I rinse the sponge lter?
This very much depends on your environment. We would recommend that you wash or replace your sponge lter when you
start to notice any dust build up on the sponge, make sure you check the sponge lter regularly.
I’ve lost my sponge lter / damaged it – where can I get a replacement?
You get a spare sponge lter with the product, you can use this spare if you have lost or damaged the original sponge lter.
How long will the UV Light Bulb last?
Your Philips G4 TUV 4W T5 bulb will last 6,000 hours before it needs replacing.

Sterilize only function
Press this button once for 35 minutes sterilization and twice for 45 minutes sterilization.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
You do not need to carry out any maintenance to this product other than cleaning. Descaling is not necessary. Do not
allow children to clean or maintain this product.
Make sure the sterilizer is cool before cleaning.
Change the lter regularly, you can replace using the spare lter sponge provided and reusing lters by rinsing with
warm water and allowing to air dry.
We recommend that you clean your sterilizer regularly, every 1-2 days to maintain its performance.
1. Please turn off the power supply before cleaning and wait for your sterilizer to cool down.
2. Use a clean damp cloth to clean the inner and outer walls of the sterilizer. Do not put the sterilizer into water.
Do not use vinegar or other chemicals to clean as these can cause damage.
3. Wipe away any dust on the screen with a clean damp cloth.
FUNCTIONS
Drying only function
Press this button once for 30 minutes drying, twice for 40 minutes drying and three times for 50 minutes.
Auto mode
Press this button to start a drying then sterilizing cycle for 60 minutes in total, drying only rst for
25 minutes then sterilizsing and drying for 35 minutes.
Storage function
Press this button alongside any of the functions above to allow items to be stored in the sterilizer.
The sterilizer will run a programme that emits 5 minutes of UV light and 5 minutes of drying every 2 hours,
to ensure items inside remain sterile. You can open the door and remove one product, then press the
storage button again to keep the remaining items inside sterile.
Power on/off
Press this button to switch the sterilizer on and off.
An alert sounds when you press any of the buttons and when you open or close the door.
You can turn off the sound on the buttons but not when you open or close the door.

HOW TO REPLACE THE FILTER SCREEN
CHANGING THE UV LIGHT BULB
Turn off the power and unplug the sterilizer.
Ensure the bulb is cool to touch.
Ensure you are using a Philips G4 TUV 4W T5 Mini.

1. Rotate the bulb 90 degrees anti clockwise
4. Rotate the bulb 90 degrees clockwise
5. The socket will now be in the locked horizontal position
2. The socket should now be vertical, and you can remove
the bulb by pulling it downwards
3. Take the new bulb and push it up into the vertical slots
of the socket
1. Open the lter screen at the back of the unit
2. Remove the old sponge lter
3. If you wish to re-use the sponge lters, then rinse the sponge in warm water and leave to air dry.
4. Alternatively take your new sponge lter out of the packaging or a sponge lter you have cleaned and place into the
space. There is only one way the sponge can t into the gap.
TIPS
1. UV bulb contains the watermark which may be hazardous to the environment.
Do not crush, break, or open the tube.
Do not leave the UV bulb with the household garbage stacked together.
2. If you have any recycling questions, please contact your local waste management ofce.
