The electric recliner from the Santiago 02 collection
is designed for professional and home-based care of
people with reduced mobility. The recliner was created
on the basis of findings from extensive research with
seniors, people with reduced mobility and their carers.
As aresult, its fresh design and robust construction
respond to specific use-related challenges identified
by target users and ensure ahigh level of comfort
combined with ease of operation and maintenance.
The Santiago collection has been tested with the
same stress and mechanical tests applied to all TON
products. We are therefore confident that it will serve
you well beyond its five-year warranty–especially if
you follow the guidance outlined in this operation and
maintenance manual.

CZ První použití
Produkt je určen na hladký arovný povrch. Pokud
je potřeba jej přenést, nesmí se zvedat za loketníky,
madlo či čalounění, pouze za spodní část bočnic.
Křeslo nenechávejte vpřímé blízkosti tepelného zdroje
ana přímém slunci. Mohlo by to způsobit zkroucení či
změnu barvy.
Po rozbalení křesla je nutné nabít baterii pomocí
síťového kabelu, který je ukrytý pod výklopným deklem
sorganizérem vzadní části. První nabíjení by mělo
trvat minimálně 8 hodin. Křeslo je vhodné umístit do
blízkosti elektrické zásuvky tak, aby délka síťového
kabelu byla dostatečná anebylo potřeba používat
ještě prodlužovací kabel.
Uproduktu není potřeba nic kompletovat, ovladač je
trvale připojen přes konektor vzadní výklopné části
anemusí se odpojovat. Je vhodné ho vždy umístit do
textilního úchytu vbočním kapsáři, který je možné
vpřípadě potřeby vyjmout avyklepat zněj nečistoty.
EN Before first use
The recliner is intended to be used on asmooth and
flat surface. If you need to lift the recliner, do not lift
by its armrests, rear handrail or upholstery–only lift
the recliner by the bottom of the side panels. Do not
keep the recliner in close proximity to aheat source
or in direct sunlight, as this can cause warping of
the wood or discolouration.
After you unpack the recliner, charge the battery
with the power cable stowed behind the flip-down
panel in the rear of the chair. The first charge should
take at least 8 hours. The recliner should be placed
within easy reach of apower source–it is not advis-
able to use an extension cord.
The recliner control unit is permanently attached by
acable running from the flip-down panel located in
the rear of the chair, and does not need to be discon-
nected. It is good to store the control unit inside the
designated tab in the side pocket. The side pocket
can be removed for cleaning as needed.
DE Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
Der Lehnstuhl ist für den Einsatz auf einer glatten
und ebenen Oberfläche vorgesehen. Wenn Sie den
Sessel anheben müssen, heben Sie ihn nicht an
den Armlehnen, dem hinteren Handlauf oder der
Polsterung an–sondern nur an der Unterseite der
Seitenwände. Bewahren Sie den Lehnstuhl nicht in
der Nähe einer Wärmequelle oder in direkter Son-
neneinstrahlung auf, da dies zu Verformungen des
Holzes oder Verfärbungen führen kann.
Nachdem Sie den Lehnstuhl ausgepackt haben, lad-
en Sie den Akku mit dem Netzkabel auf, das hinter
der Klappwand im hinteren Teil des Stuhls verstaut
ist. Dieerste Ladung sollte mindestens 8Stunden
dauern. Der Lehnstuhl sollte in Reichweite einer
Stromquelle platziert werden–es ist nicht ratsam,
ein Verlängerungskabel zu verwenden.
Die Steuereinheit des Lehnstuhls ist fest mit einem
Kabel verbunden, das von der Klappwand im hin-
teren Teil des Stuhls verläuft und nicht abgeklemmt
werden muss. Es ist gut, das Steuergerät in der
dafür vorgesehenen Lasche in der Seitentasche zu
verstauen. Die Seitentasche kann zur Reinigung bei
Bedarf entfernt werden.

Le produit est conçu pour être installé sur une
surface lisse et plane. S’il est nécessaire de le trans-
porter, il ne doit pas être soulevé par les accoudoirs,
par la poignée ou par le garnissage, mais unique-
ment par la partie inférieure des parois latérales.
Ne laissez pas le fauteuil en contact direct avec une
source de chaleur ni à la lumière directe du soleil.

Aucun assemblage n’est nécessaire pour le produit,
la commande est raccordée de manière permanente
via le connecteur situé dans la partie articulée
arrière et n’a pas besoin d’être déconnectée. Il est
conseillé de toujours la placer dans l’attache textile
située dans la poche latérale, qui peut être enlevée
et dépoussiérée si nécessaire.

Produkt został zaprojektowany do użytkowania na
gładkiej ipłaskiej powierzchni. Jeśli chcesz podnieść
fotel, nie podnoś go za podłokietniki, tylną poręcz
lub tapicerkę–podnoś fotel chwytając od dołu boc-
zne panele. Nie przechowuj fotela w pobliżu źródła
ciepła lub w bezpośrednim świetle słonecznym,
ponieważ może to spowodować wypaczenie drewna
lub odbarwienie.
Po rozpakowaniu fotela ładuj akumulator za pomocą
kabla zasilającego schowanego pod odchylanym
panelem. Pierwsze ładowanie powinno trwać co
najmniej 8 godzin. Rozkładany fotel powinien być
umieszczony w pobliżu źródła zasilania–nie zaleca
się używania przedłużacza.
Sterownik jest na stałe połączony kablem
biegnącym poniżej odchylanego panelu ztyłu fotela

!Respektujte zátěžový cyklus
uvedený na štítku kontrolboxu.
Je-li překročen, vzniká riziko jeho
přehřátí apoškození. Pokud na štítku
není napsáno jinak, zátěžový cyklus
může být maximálně 10 %: nanejvýše
2 minuty aktivního používání, které
jsou následovány 18 minutami klidu.
Nerespektování bude mít za následek
nadměrné opotřebovávání výrobku!
Pozor na náhodné uzamknutí ovladače,
ke kterému může dojít při rychlém přejetí
tlačítek druhého řádku.
!Please observe the recommended
load limit noted on the control box
located at the bottom of the reclining
mechanism. If the load limit is exceeded,
there is arisk of overheating and damage
to the reclining system. Unless indicated
otherwise, load can be exerted on the
reclining system for amaximum of
10% of total use time: in other words,
2minutes of active use (reclining back
and forth) followed by 18 minutes of rest.
If this limit is not observed, the recliner
will wear quickly.
Be careful not to accidentally lock the
control unit by rubbing the keys on the
second row.

das Liegesystem für maximal 10% der
gesamten Nutzungszeit belastet werden,
d.h. 2 Minuten aktive Nutzung (Hin- und
Herlegen) gefolgt von 18 Minuten Pause.
Wird diese Grenze nicht eingehalten,
nutzt sich der Lehnstuhl schnell ab.
Achten Sie darauf, die Steuereinheit
nicht versehentlich zu verriegeln, indem
Sie die Tasten in der zweiten Reihe
drücken.

etykiecie umieszczonej w dolnej części

przekroczony, istnieje ryzyko przegrzania

Uważaj aby przypadkowo nie
zablokować pilota, naciskając
przypadkowo klawisze w drugim rzędzie.
CZ Polohovaní
Ovladač umožňuje polohovat zvlášť opěradlo iopěrku
nohou, případně do maximální otevřené či zavřené po-
zice křesla. Pomocí předvolby pamětí si můžete také
uložit až tři vlastní polohy. Nastavte si pomocí ovlada-
če tuto pozici, stiskněte tlačítko M asoučasně číslici
předvolby. Ikdyž později polohu změníte, po stisknutí
daného čísla se do ní křeslo automaticky vrátí.
Ovladač lze zamknout současným stisknutím obou
tlačítek druhého řádku (viz obrázek) a odemknout stej-
ným způsobem. Po odemknutí přestává ovladač pískat.
Vždy dejte pozor, aby pohyblivé části nezranily děti
nebo domácí zvířata.
Pokud se křeslo denně polohuje, je ideální jej nabíjet
přes noc.
EN Reclining
The recliner control unit allows you to recline the chair
into its maximum reclined position and to return to the
resting position. The backrest and the footrest can be
controlled independently. The control unit also enables
you to store three pre-set positions. To store apre-set
position, first use the control unit to move the chair
into the desired position and then press the M key and
simultaneously the desired pre-set number (1, 2 or 3).
The chair will automatically move into any of the three
pre-set positions after you press the relevant position
number.
The control unit can be locked by simultaneously
pressing both keys on the second row (see image),
and unlocked in the same way. Unlocking stops the
whistling sound.
Please take care of the safety of small children and
animals when reclining the chair.
If the chair is reclined on adaily basis, it is best to
recharge it overnight.
DE Liegeposition
Das Steuergerät ermöglicht es Ihnen, den Stuhl in
seine maximale Liegeposition zu verstellen und in die
Ruheposition zurückzukehren. Die Rückenlehne und
die Fußstütze können unabhängig voneinander ge-
steuert werden. Die Steuereinheit ermöglicht es Ihnen
auch, drei voreingestellte Positionen zu speichern.
Um eine voreingestellte Position zu speichern, fahren
Sie den Lehnstuhl zunächst mit dem Steuergerät in
die gewünschte Position und drücken Sie dann die
M-Taste und gleichzeitig die gewünschte Voreinstell-
nummer (1, 2 oder 3). Der fährt automatisch in eine
der drei voreingestellten Positionen, nachdem Sie die
entsprechende Positionsnummer gedrückt haben.

Die Steuereinheit kann durch gleichzeitiges Drücken
beider Tasten in der zweiten Reihe (siehe Bild)
verriegelt und auf die gleiche Weise entriegelt
werden. Durch das Entsperren wird der Pfeifton
gestoppt.
Bitte achten Sie beim Liegen des Stuhls auf die
Sicherheit von Kleinkindern und Tieren.
Wenn das Steuergerät und die Liegepositionen täglich
genutzt werden, ist es am besten, ihn über Nacht
aufzuladen.
FR Réglage de positionnement
La commande vous permet de positionner le dossier
et le repose-pieds séparément, le cas échéant de
régler la position maximale ouverte ou fermée du
fauteuil. Vous pouvez également sauvegarder jusqu’à
trois positions personnalisées à l’aide de la mémoire
de présélection. Réglez la position au moyen de la
commande, appuyez simultanément sur la touche M
et sur le numéro de présélection. Même si vous chan-
gez la position ultérieurement, lorsque vous appuyez
sur le numéro, le fauteuil revient automatiquement
àla position correspondante.
La commande peut être fermée en appuyant simul-
tanément les deux touches de la deuxième ligne
(voir la photo) et ouverte de la même façon. Après son
ouverture la commande arrête à sonner.
Veillez toujours à ce que les pièces mobiles ne
blessent pas les enfants ou les animaux domestiques.
Si le fauteuil est quotidiennement positionné, il est
idéal de le mettre en charge pendant la nuit.
PL Rozkładanie
Pilot fotela umożliwia ustawienie fotela w pozycji
maksymalnej leżącej ipowrót do pozycji spoczyn-
kowej. Oparcie ipodnóżek mogą być kontrolowane
niezależnie. Pilot umożliwia także zapisanie do trzech
wstępnie ustawionych pozycji. Aby zapisać ustawioną
pozycję, najpierw użyj pilota, aby przesunąć fotel
do żądanej pozycji, anastępnie naciśnij klawisz M
ijednocześnie żądany wstępnie ustawiony numer
(1,2 lub 3). Fotel automatycznie przejdzie do dowolnej
ztrzech wstępnie ustawionych pozycji po naciśnięciu
odpowiedniego numeru pozycji.
Pilot można zablokować przez jednoczesne naciśnię-
cie obu przycisków w drugim rzędzie od góry ( patrz
ilustracja ) i odblokować w ten sam sposób. Odbloko-
wanie potwierdza sygnał dźwiękowy.
Podczas odchylania fotela należy zadbać obezpie-
czeństwo małych dzieci izwierząt.
Jeśli fotel jest codziennie rozkładany, najlepiej go
naładować w ciągu nocy.

CZ Baterie
Vpolohovacím křesle je použita vodotěsná lithium-
-iontová baterie. Před jejím prvním použitím ji nechejte
nabíjet do druhého dne (nejméně 8 hodin). Nemusíte se
obávat, že by došlo kpřehřátí, protože systém automa-
ticky baterii temperuje–křeslo tak může být ve zdroji
zapojeno klidně iněkolik dní. Po každém použití výrobku
je vhodné připojit křeslo na zdroj. Tento postup zajistí
správný dobíjecí cyklus baterie audržení požadované
kapacity aživotnosti baterie. Baterii je nutné připojit ke
zdroji minimálně jedenkrát po 6ti měsících i v případě,
že křeslo není užíváno, aby nedocházelo k úplnému
vybití baterie.
Nepoužívejte ji vprostředí, kde se pracuje shořla-
vými anestetickými plyny vkombinaci se vzduchem
nebo vprostředí skyslíkem či kysličníkem uhličitým
(rajským plynem). Také teplo atepelné zdroje mohou
baterii ovlivnit. Proto ji nevystavujte působení vysoce
intenzivních lamp sUV zářením, nemanipulujte sní
vblízkosti otevřeného ohně, nepoužívejte aneskladujte
ji při teplotách vyšších než 50° C.
Pokud budete baterii čistit, nevyužívejte ktomu agre-
sivní chemikálie, ředidla, kyseliny, zásadité tekutiny,
nestříkejte na ni vysokotlakým čističem aneponořujte
ji do vody. Plastové části mohou být poškozeny také při
styku sminerálními oleji.
Použitou baterie recyklujte do příslušeného kontejneru.
Záruka na ni je dva roky.
EN Battery
The recliner uses awaterproof lithium-ion battery with
abuilt-in safety charge system. Before first use, charge
the battery for aminimum of 8 hours. The recliner can
be connected to apower source for several days without
any risk of overheating. We recommend that you plug
the recliner into a power outlet after each battery-
operated use. This will ensure proper recharging of the
battery and maximise its capacity and longevity. The
battery should be connected to apower source at least
once per six months – even if the recliner is not being
used – to prevent its complete depletion.
Do not use the recliner in an area where the battery may
be exposed to flammable anaesthetics in combination
with air, or to oxygen or nitrogen oxide (laughing gas).
Excessive heat or close proximity to aheat source can
also aect the battery: do not expose the battery to high-
intensity UV lamps, use it near an open flame, or use or
store it at temperatures higher than 50 °C.
If you want to clean the battery, do not use aggressive
chemicals, thinners, acids or alkaline fluids, do not
use ahigh-pressure cleaner, and do not submerge it in
water. Plastic components may be damaged in contact
with mineral oils.
Please recycle an expired battery at adesignated recy-
cling facility. The battery warranty is two years.
DE Batterie
Der Lehnstuhl verwendet einen wasserdichten Lithium-
Ionen-Akku mit eingebautem Sicherheitsladesystem.
Laden Sie den Akku vor dem ersten Gebrauch mindes-
tens 8 Stunden lang auf. Der Lehnstuhl kann mehrere
Tage lang an eine Stromquelle angeschlossen werden,
ohne dass die Gefahr einer Überhitzung besteht. Wir
empfehlen Ihnen, den Ruhesessel nach jedem Batterie-
betrieb an eine Steckdose anzuschließen. Dadurch wird
das ordnungsgemäße Aufladen der Batterie gewähr-
leistet und ihre Kapazität und Langlebigkeit maximiert.
Die Batterie sollte mindestens einmal in sechs Monaten
an eine Stromquelle angeschlossen werden – auch wenn
der Ruhesessel nicht benutzt wird – um eine vollständige
Entleerung zu verhindern.
Verwenden Sie den Lehnstuhl nicht in einem Bereich,
in dem die Batterie in Kombination mit Luft, Sauer-
sto oder Stickoxid (Lachgas) brennbaren Anästhetika
ausgesetzt sein kann. Auch übermäßige Hitze oder
die Nähe zu einer Wärmequelle können die Batterie
beeinträchtigen: Setzen Sie die Batterie keinen hoch-
intensiven UV–Lampen aus, verwenden Sie sie nicht in
der Nähe einer oenen Flamme oder verwenden oder
lagern Sie sie nicht bei Temperaturen über 50° C.
Wenn Sie den Akku reinigen möchten, verwenden Sie
keine aggressiven Chemikalien, Verdünner, Säuren
oder alkalische Flüssigkeiten, verwenden Sie keinen
Hochdruckreiniger und tauchen Sie ihn nicht in Wasser
ein. Kunststoteile können bei Kontakt mit Mineralölen
beschädigt werden.
Bitte recyceln Sie eine verbrauchte Batterie in einer da-
für vorgesehenen Recyclinganlage. Die Batteriegarantie
beträgt zwei Jahre.

Une batterie au lithium-ion et étanche à l’eau est
utilisée dans le fauteuil inclinable. Avant sa première
utilisation, laissez-la se charger jusqu’au lendemain
(au moins 8 heures). Vous n’avez pas à vous inquiéter
qu’une surchaue se produise, car le système ajuste
automatiquement la température de la batterie–le
fauteuil peut ainsi être branché sur le secteur pendant
plusieurs jours. Il est conseillé de mettre le fauteuil à
recharger après chaque utilisation. Vous assurerez ainsi
le respect d’un cycle de charge correct de la batterie,
ce qui maintiendra sa capacité et prolongera sa durée
de vie. La batterie doit être rechargée au moins une
fois tous les 6 mois, même lorsque le fauteuil n’est pas
utilisé. Vous éviterez ainsi sa décharge totale.
Ne l’utilisez pas dans un environnement où des gaz
anesthésiques combustibles sont utilisés en combinaison
avec de l’air ou dans un environnement composé d’oxy-
gène ou de dioxyde de carbone (gaz hilarant). Enoutre,
la chaleur et les sources de chaleur peuvent aecter la
batterie. Par conséquent, ne l’exposez pas aux eets d’une
lampe UV de forte intensité, ne la manipulez pas près
d’une flamme nue, ne l’utilisez pas et ne la stockez pas à
des températures supérieures à 50° C.
Si vous nettoyez la batterie, n’utilisez pas de produits
chimiques agressifs, de diluants, d’acides, de liquides

W fotelu zastosowano wodoodporną baterię litowo-
-jonową zwbudowanym systemem bezpiecznego
ładowania. Przed pierwszym użyciem należy łado-
wać akumulator przez co najmniej 8 godzin. Fotel
może być podłączony do źródła zasilania przez kilka
dni bez ryzyka przegrzania. Zalecamy podłączenie

CZ Manipulace
Pokud chcete skřeslem popojet, ovládejte ho skrze
zadní madlo, nikoliv podhlavník. Při pojezdu uobsa-
zeného křesla vždy uveďte opěrku nohou do zvýšené
pozice tak, aby sedící osoba nebyla vkontaktu se
zemí. Je také nutné dbát na to, aby kabel ovladače
nebo ovladač nezůstával na zemi anedošlo kjeho

EN Movement
Move the recliner by holding only the rear handrail,
not the headrest. When moving aseated person, make
sure that the footrest is raised high enough to avoid
dragging the person’s feet on the floor. Also ensure
that the control unit and/or the control cable are
safely stowed to avoid possible damage to the control
mechanism.
The headrest can be adjusted mechanically, both in
terms of height and angle.
The armrests have two positions: top (resting) posi-
tion and low position, which enables easy transfer of
aperson to and from the chair. To lower the armrest,
first raise it lightly and move it to the side, then lower
it. Reverse movement will bring the armrest back to
the top position.
Manoeuvring of the chair is controlled with the help
of plastic levers located above the rear wheels. Posi-
tion 1 serves as abrake; position 2 locks the wheels
in astraight line, making transport easier over long
distances; position 3 allows the wheels to swivel for
ease of manoeuvrability.
The removable tray table slides onto the inside of the
armrests and is secured in place with plastic clips.
After use, hook the tray table on the rear handrail and
secure it with the belt and the magnet located at the
bottom of the rear of the backrest.

Si vous voulez faire avancer le fauteuil, actionnez-le
par la poignée arrière et non par l’appui-tête. Lorsque
vous déplacez le fauteuil occupé, placez toujours le
repose-pieds en position relevée afin que la personne
assise ne soit pas en contact avec le sol. Il est éga-
lement nécessaire de veiller à ce que la commande
ou le câble de commande ne reste pas sur le sol et
ne soit pas endommagé lorsque le fauteuil est en
mouvement.
L’appui-tête est réglable mécaniquement, aussi bien
horizontalement que verticalement.
Les deux accoudoirs disposent de deux positions,
dont une position d’appui supérieure et une position
d’appui inférieure, permettant de déplacer facile-
ment une personne vers le fauteuil ou pour en sortir.
Avec un léger soulèvement et un mouvement latéral,
l’accoudoir se libère et s’abaisse en position basse, en
eectuant le mouvement opposé, il est de nouveau
bloqué en position haute.
Le levier bilatéral de pied en plastique, situé au niveau
des roues arrière, en position 1, sert pour freiner, il
permet également de positionner les roues arrière en
ligne droite, en position 2, et il facilite le déplacement
sur une plus grande distance. En position 3, les roues
restent complètement rotatives pour une meilleure
maniabilité.
La tablette supplémentaire est insérée devant l’assise
en la faisant glisser dans les rainures des parties
intérieures des accoudoirs, puis est sécurisée par
des fixations en plastique. Après utilisation, placez-la
sur le côté arrière du fauteuil de façon à ce que les
supports plaqués soient positionnés vers le dossier,
accrochez-la à la poignée et sécurisez-la à l’aide de
l’aimant situé en partie basse.

The recliner can be upholstered in awide range of
fabrics, many of which are easy to maintain and clean.
For fabric maintenance follow the manufacturer’s
guidelines.
