Lees voor uw eigen veiligheid eerst deze
gebruiksaanwijzing alvorens het toestel te
gebruiken.
VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Volg bij gebruik van het toestel altijd de
onderstaande veiligheidsvoorschriften en
(indien aanwezig) aanvullende veiligheids-
voorschriften nauwkeurig op.
Gebruik het toestel niet in badkamers en
in andere ruimtes waar condensatie
aanwezig kan zijn.
Het toestel kan zeer warm worden. Plaats
het daarom niet in de buurt van
meubilair, gordijnen en dergelijken.
Bedek het toestel nooit.
Plaats het toestel niet in de onmiddelijke
omgeving van of onder een stopcontact.
Het stopcontact moet steeds zonder
hinder te bereiken zijn.
Controleer het toestel steeds op
mogelijke beschadigingen. Gebruik het
toestel nooit wanneer u beschadigingen
opmerkt.
Sluit het toestel alleen op wisselstroom-
spanning conform het typeplaatje op het
toestel aan.
Raak nooit onder spanning staande
onderdelen van het toestel aan.
LEVENSGEVAAR!
Bedien het toestel nooit terwijl uw
handen nat zijn. LEVENSGEVAAR!
Sluit geen andere aparaten aan op
hetzelfde stopcontact van het toestel.
Plaats het toestel niet in de buurt van
ontvlambare stoffen.
Neem het toestel nooit in gebruik bij
beschadigingen. Controleer het snoer
steeds op mogelijke beschadigingen.
Indien het snoer beschadigd is, moet het
worden hersteld door de leverancier of
een ervaren/gediplomeerd technieker.
Wanneer het toestel zo ernstig
beschadigd is dat elektrische onderdelen
vrij liggen, moet u onmiddelijk de stekker
uit het stopcontact trekken en dient u
contact op te nemen met uw leverancier.
Gebruik het toestel niet in de buurt van
zwembaden en in de onmiddelijke
omgeving van water.
Personen onder invloed van drugs,
medicijnen of alcohol mogen het apparaat
niet gebruiken. Personen met fysieke,
zintuigelijke of mentale beperkingen
mogen het apparaat niet gebruiken.
Houd kinderen en dieren uit de buurt van
het toestel. Let erop dat kinderen niet
met het toestel spelen. Laat kinderen
nooit alleen wanneer het toestel in
werking is.
Laat het toestel in werking niet achter.
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact
wanneer u het toestel voor lange tijd niet
meer gebruikt.
Houd water uit de buurt van het toestel.
Raak het toestel niet aan met natte
handen. Levensgevaar!
UIT DE VERPAKKING
•Bij het uitpakken, dient u het toestel te
controleren op transportschade en
volledigheid. Indien u schade opmerkt
aan het toestel moet u contact opnemen
met uw verdeler.
•Gooi de verpakkingsdoos niet weg, maar
bewaar deze zorgvuldig. U kan deze
gebruiken om het toestel in te bewaren
wanneer u het voor langere tijd niet
gebruikt of om terug te sturen naar de
verdeler bij schade/herstelling (zie ook:
garantievoorwaarden).
•LET OP : Het verpakkingsmateriaal moet
u zorgvuldig bewaren of bij het afval
doen. Plastic zakken en andere
verpakkings-materialen kunnen
levensgevaarlijk speelgoed zijn voor
kinderen en huisdieren.
GEBRUIK
Plaats het toestel op een vlakke en
stabiele ondergrond.
Controleer of het toestel is uitgeschakeld.
Steek vervolgens de stekker in het
stopcontact.
Zet de schakelaar in de gewenste
werkstand:

Het toestel treedt in werking als de
schakelaar op één van de drie
werkstanden staat.
Het toestel is uitgerust met een
thermostaat. Zodra de temperatuur in de
ruimte voldoet, stopt automatisch het
verwarmingselement. Wanneer de
temperatuur daalt, wordt het
verwarmingselement weer ingeschakeld.
LET OP : Wanneer het verwarmings-element
automatisch uitschakeld, blijft de ventilator
van het toestel draaien totdat de temperatuur
voldoende is gedaald. Dit betekent dat het
toestel de warme lucht wegblaast en u een
koude gevoels-wording krijgt. Om deze koude
gevoelswording te voorkomen, kan u het
toestel steeds weer uitschakelen.
•Wanneer het toestel is uitgeschakeld
(met stekker in stopcontact), zal de
ventilator nog even draaien totdat het
toestel voldoende is afgekoeld.
•Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact
wanneer u het toestel niet gebruikt.
OVERVERHITTINGSBEVEILIGING
Het toestel is uitgerust met een
oververhittingsbeveiliging. Deze bescherming
schakelt het toestel automatisch uit bij een
storing. In dit geval moet u het toestel uit
schakelen en de stekker uit het stopcontact
trekken. Na een korte afkoelfase is het
toestel weer gebruiksklaar.
Mocht dit herhaaldelijk gebeuren, dient u
contact op te nemen met uw verdeler.
IP-CLASSIFICATIE
Dit toestel heeft een beschermingsgraad
IP.44 waardoor het beschermd is tegen
waterstralen en indringende voorwerpen
vanaf 1mm.

ONDERHOUD
•Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact
vooraleer onderhoud te plegen.
•Onderdelen van het toestel kunnen heet
worden bij gebruik. Laat het toestel dan
ook steeds voldoende afkoelen.
•Gebruik geen water om het toestel
schoon te maken, maar gebruik een
milde vochtige doek.
•Gebruik geen stoffen die het toestel
kunnen beschadigen.
•Bewaar het toestel op een droge en
geventileerde plaats.
•Wanneer u het toestel voor langere tijd
niet gebruikt, kan u het best opbergen in
een doos (voorkeur eigen verpakking).
Zo beschermt u het toestel.
MILIEU
Als uw toestel na verloop van tijd aan
vervanging toe is, geef het dan niet mee met
het huisvuil, maar zorg voor een
milieuvriendelijke verwerking.
GARANTIE
Voor de garantiebepalingen wordt verwezen
naar de bijgevoegde garantievoorwaarden.

MISE EN GARDE
Pour votre propre sécurité, lisez
préalablement ce manuel d’utilisation avant
d’utiliser la machine.
CONSIGNES DE SECURITE
Lors d’emploi de l’appareil, observez toujours
scrupuleusement les consignes de sécurité
fournies ainsi que les consignes de sécurité
complémentaires ci-dessous.
N’utilisez pas l’appareil dans la salle de
bain et dans des autres chambres avec
condensation.
L’appareil peut être très chaud pendant
l’utilisation. L’appareil ne peut pas placer
près des meubles, des rideaux, etc.
Ne couvriez jamais l’appareil.
Ne placez jamais l’appareil dans
l’environnement ou sous un prise
électrique.
La prise électrique doit être toujours
accessible sans problèmes.
Ne jamais toucher les pièces se trouvant
sous tension. Danger de mort.
Ne jamais commander l’appareil avec des
mains mouillées. Danger de mort.
Ne jamais mettre en service l’appareil si
celui-ci ou le câble d’amenée son
endommagés. Danger de blessures.
Si l’appareil est endommagé au point que
des pièces électriques sont à nu, le
couper immédiatement du secteur et
adressez-vous à votre commerçant
spécialisé.
Si le câble est endommagé seulement le
fournisseur ou un technicien diplômé peut
le réparer.
Ne branchez pas des autres appareils sur
la même prise électrique.
Ne placez pas cet appareil ou les animaux
domestiques peuvent l’atteindre.
N’utilisez jamais l’appareil près d’un bain,
d’une douche ou d’une piscine.
N’utilisez jamais l’appareil des matières
inflammables. Il ne doit pas être mis près
ou en contact avec un combustible,
pétrole, gaz ou explosifs.
Les personnes aptes à comprendre et à
respecter les instructions devraient
utiliser ou effectuer l’entretien de cet
appareil de chauffage. Les enfants ne
peuvent pas utiliser l’appareil pour éviter
qu’il joue avec l’appareil. Les personnes
qui ont des restrictions physique,
sensorielle ou mentale ne peuvent pas
utiliser l’appareil.
Ne laissez jamais des enfants sans
surveillance dans l’environnement de
l’appareil pour éviter qu’ils jouent avec
l’appareil.
Si vous n’utilisez pas le chauffage
pendant quelque temps il est préférable
de s’assurer qu’il est propre et sec et le
conserver ensuite à intérieur d’un sac de
plastique dans un endroit sec et frais.
N’utilisez jamais la machine avec de l’eau
et ne permettez pas qu’elle se mouille
quelque soit la circonstance.
Les enfants ne peuvent pas utiliser l’appareil
sans surveillance.
EMBALLAGE
•Après le déballage, vérifier si l’appareil
n’a pas subi de dommages de transport
et si la fourniture est complète. En cas de
dommages ou de fournitures
incomplètes, veuillez-vous adresser à
votre distributeur.
•Ne pas jeter le carton original. Il sera
nécessaire pour la conservation et
l’expédition en cas de dommages dus au
transport.
•ATTENTION : Eliminer en bonnenet due
forme le matériau d’emballage. Les sacs
en plastique peuvent devenir un jouet
dangereux pour des enfants et des
animaux.
INSTRUCTIONS
Placez l’appareil sur une surface stable.
Vérifiez que l’appareil est mis hors
service avant brancher.
Branchez l’appareil dans la prise.
Mettez l’interrupteur dans une position
d’opération:

L’appareil est mis en service quand
l’interrupteur est mis dans une position
d’opération.
L’appareil a un thermostat. Quand la
température suffit, le chauffage de
l’appareil s’arrête automatiquement.
Quand la température baisse le chauffage
de l’appareil s’allumera.
ATTENTION : Quand le thermostat est mis
hors service, le ventilateur continuera de
souffler. Le ventilateur soufflera l’air chaud
par quoi vous pouvez recevoir un sens froid.
Vous pouvez toujours mettre l’appareil hors
service.
•Quand vous avez mis l’appareil hors
service le ventilateur continuera de
souffler jusqu’ à l’appareil est refroidi
suffisamment.
•Si vous n’utilisez pas l’appareil
débranchez le câble.
PROTECTION CONTRE SURCHAUFFE
La protection de surchauffe intégrée met
l’appareil automatiquement hors circuit en
cas de perturbation. Dans ce cas, vous devez
retirer la fiche de la prise. Après une courte
phase de refroidissement, l’appareil est de
nouveau opérationnel.
Si cela devait se répéter, veuillez-vous
adresser à un commerçant spécialisé.

Cet appareil a une classification IP.44 qui
protège contre des projections d’eau et des
objets avec un diamètre d’au moins 1mm.

NETTOYAGE
Mettre tout d’abord l’appareil hors circuit
et retirer la fiche réseau de la prise. Ne
pas utiliser de détergents à récurer ni
corrosifs.
Nettoyer le boîtier avec un chiffon
humide, l’aspirateur ou un pinceau à
poussières.
Ne jamais plonger l’appareil dans l’eau.
Danger de mort.
Après une exploitation prolongée du
ventilateur en été, la zone d’aspiration et
de soufflage doivent être nettoyée avec
un aspirateur.
ENVIRONNEMENT
Quand votre machine a atteint la fin de son
cycle de vie utile, ne vous en débarrassez pas
avec les ordures ménagères, mais destinez-la
à un traitement respectueux de
l’environnement.

Read this manual carefully before using the
machine for own safety.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using the appliance, always observe
the enclosed safety instructions as well as the
additional safety instructions.
In order to avoid heating please do not
cover the heater during usage.
When using electrical appliance basic
precautions should always be followed
including below.
The fan heater is not suitable for in damp
weather, in bathrooms or in other wet or
damp environments.
Please note that the fan heater can
become very hot. Therefore it should be
placed at a safe distance from flammable
objects such as furniture, curtains, …
Do not place the fan heater immediately
under a wall socket.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by manufacturer, its service
agent or similar qualified persons.
This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
Do not connect the fan heater using an
on/off timer or other equipment which
can automatically switch the device on.
The fan heater must not be placed in
rooms where flammable liquids or gases
are used or stored.
Heater cannot be used in bathrooms,
showers and near pools.
Make sure the heater is always under
surveillance and keep children and
animals away from it.
PACKAGING
•When packing out you must check the
appliance for transport damages and
missing pieces. When you notice damage
you must contact your dealer.
•Do not throw away the packaging. You
could use it when storing the appliance or
when sending back the appliance for
repair.
•WARNING: Please store the packaging
well. Plastic bags and other packaging
materials could be dangerous for children
and pets.
INSTRUCTIONS
The appliance must be placed on a steady
surface.
Before connecting the appliance to the
power supply please check if the
appliance is switched off.
Put the power supply cable into the
socket.
Put the switch in the preferred position:

Fan working + Heating 1650W
Fan working + Heating 3000W
The appliance starts working when one of
the above positions is used.
The appliance does have a thermostat.
When the temperature has reached the
preferred temperature the heating
element will stop automatically. When the
temperature is going down the heating
element will be switched on again.
WARNING: After the heating element is
switched off automatically, the fan will still
blowing till the appliance has cooled down.
This means it will blow away the hot air and
you will get a possible cold feeling in your
room. To prevent this cold feeling you could
turn off the appliance.
•When the appliance is switched off (with
supply cord in socket) the fan will keep
blowing till the appliance is cooled down.
•Pull out the supply cord when you do not
use the appliance.
OVERHEATING PROTECTION
The appliance is provided with a overheating
protection. This protection will switch off the

appliance automatically when it notices a
malfunction. In this case you must switch off
the appliance and pull out the supply cord.
After a short period of cooling down, the
appliance will be ready to use again.
When this happens repeatedly you must
contact your local dealer.

MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning the appliance disconnect
it from the socket and let it cool down.
The enclosure is easily to get dirty. Wipe
it often with a sponge. For every dirty
parts wipe with a sponge dipped in water
and mild detergent. Then dry the heater
enclosure with clean cloth.
Be careful and do not let water enter the
appliance. Don not splash water onto the
heater, never use solvents like gasoline,
isoamyl, acetate toluene etc. to clean the
heater, in order to protect the enclosure.
Clean the cord and plug. Pack it dry in a
plastic bag and store it in a dry and
ventilated place.
ENVIRONMENT
Should your machine need replacement after
extended use, do not put it in the domestic
waste, but dispose of it in an environmentally
safe way.
WARANTY
Refer to the enclosed guarantee conditions
for the terms and conditions of guarantee.

in the EU. In order to ensure the quality, our products regularly go
through an extra quality check, both by an internal quality
department and by specialized external organisations. If, all
precautionary measures notwithstanding, problems should occur,
please make appeal to our warranty (see guarantee conditions).
General Warranty Conditions Concerning Consumer Products
(for EU):
• All consumer products are subject to a 24-month warranty on
production flaws and defective material as from the original date of
purchase.
• Velleman® can decide to replace an article with an equivalent
article, or to refund the retail value totally or partially when the
complaint is valid and a free repair or replacement of the article is
impossible, or if the expenses are out of proportion.
You will be delivered a replacing article or a refund at the value of
100% of the purchase price in case of a flaw occurred in the first
year after the date of purchase and delivery, or a replacing article at
50% of the purchase price or a refund at the value of 50% of the
retail value in case of a flaw occurred in the second year after the
date of purchase and delivery.
• Not covered by warranty:
- all direct or indirect damage caused after delivery to the article
(e.g. by oxidation, shocks, falls, dust, dirt, humidity...), and by the
article, as well as its contents (e.g. data loss), compensation for loss
of profits;
- consumable goods, parts or accessories that are subject to an aging
process during normal use, such as batteries (rechargeable, non-
rechargeable, built-in or replaceable), lamps, rubber parts, drive
belts... (unlimited list);
- flaws resulting from fire, water damage, lightning, accident, natural
disaster, etc.…;
- flaws caused deliberately, negligently or resulting from improper
handling, negligent maintenance, abusive use or use contrary to the
manufacturer’s instructions;
- damage caused by a commercial, professional or collective use of
the article (the warranty validity will be reduced to six (6) months
when the article is used professionally);
- damage resulting from an inappropriate packing and shipping of the
article;
- all damage caused by modification, repair or alteration performed
by a third party without written permission by Velleman®.
• Articles to be repaired must be delivered to your Velleman® dealer,
solidly packed (preferably in the original packaging), and be
completed with the original receipt of purchase and a clear flaw
description.
• Hint: In order to save on cost and time, please reread the manual
and check if the flaw is caused by obvious causes prior to presenting
the article for repair. Note that returning a non-defective article can
also involve handling costs.
• Repairs occurring after warranty expiration are subject to shipping
costs.
• The above conditions are without prejudice to all commercial
warranties.
The above enumeration is subject to modification according to
the article (see article’s manual).

de EU. Om de kwaliteit te waarborgen, ondergaan onze producten op
regelmatige tijdstippen een extra kwaliteitscontrole, zowel door onze
eigen kwaliteitsafdeling als door externe gespecialiseerde
organisaties. Mocht er ondanks deze voorzorgen toch een probleem
optreden, dan kunt u steeds een beroep doen op onze waarborg (zie
waarborgvoorwaarden).
Algemene waarborgvoorwaarden consumentengoederen
(voor Europese Unie):
• Op alle consumentengoederen geldt een garantieperiode van 24
maanden op productie- en materiaalfouten en dit vanaf de
oorspronkelijke aankoopdatum.
• Indien de klacht gegrond is en een gratis reparatie of vervanging
van een artikel onmogelijk is of indien de kosten hiervoor buiten
verhouding zijn, kan Velleman® beslissen het desbetreffende artikel
te vervangen door een gelijkwaardig artikel of de aankoopsom van
het artikel gedeeltelijk of volledig terug te betalen. In dat geval krijgt
u een vervangend product of terugbetaling ter waarde van 100% van
de aankoopsom bij ontdekking van een gebrek tot één jaar na
aankoop en levering, of een vervangend product tegen 50% van de
kostprijs of terugbetaling van 50 % bij ontdekking na één jaar tot 2
jaar.
• Valt niet onder waarborg:
- alle rechtstreekse of onrechtstreekse schade na de levering
veroorzaakt aan het toestel (bv. door oxidatie, schokken, val, stof,
vuil, vocht...), en door het toestel, alsook zijn inhoud (bv. verlies van
data), vergoeding voor eventuele winstderving.
- verbruiksgoederen, onderdelen of hulpstukken die onderhevig zijn
aan veroudering door normaal gebruik zoals bv. batterijen (zowel
oplaadbare als niet-oplaadbare, ingebouwd of vervangbaar), lampen,
rubberen onderdelen, aandrijfriemen... (onbeperkte lijst).
- defecten ten gevolge van brand, waterschade, bliksem, ongevallen,
natuurrampen, enz.
- defecten veroorzaakt door opzet, nalatigheid of door een
onoordeelkundige behandeling, slecht onderhoud of abnormaal
gebruik of gebruik van het toestel strijdig met de voorschriften van
de fabrikant.
- schade ten gevolge van een commercieel, professioneel of collectief
gebruik van het apparaat (bij professioneel gebruik wordt de
garantieperiode herleid tot 6 maand).
- schade veroorzaakt door onvoldoende bescherming bij transport
van het apparaat.
- alle schade door wijzigingen, reparaties of modificaties uitgevoerd
door derden zonder toestemming van Velleman®.
• Toestellen dienen ter reparatie aangeboden te worden bij uw
Velleman®-verdeler. Het toestel dient vergezeld te zijn van het
oorspronkelijke aankoopbewijs. Zorg voor een degelijke verpakking
(bij voorkeur de originele verpakking) en voeg een duidelijke
foutomschrijving bij.
• Tip: alvorens het toestel voor reparatie aan te bieden, kijk nog
eens na of er geen voor de hand liggende reden is waarom het
toestel niet naar behoren werkt (zie handleiding). Op deze wijze kunt
u kosten en tijd besparen. Denk eraan dat er ook voor niet-defecte
toestellen een kost voor controle aangerekend kan worden.
• Bij reparaties buiten de waarborgperiode zullen transportkosten
aangerekend worden.
• Elke commerciële garantie laat deze rechten onverminderd.
Bovenstaande opsomming kan eventueel aangepast worden
naargelang de aard van het product (zie handleiding van het
betreffende product).

Conditions générales concernant la garantie sur les produits
grand public (pour l’UE) :
• tout produit grand public est garanti 24 mois contre tout vice de
production ou de matériaux à dater du jour d’acquisition effective ;
• si la plainte est justifiée et que la réparation ou le remplacement
d’un article est jugé impossible, ou lorsque les coûts s’avèrent
disproportionnés, Velleman® s’autorise à remplacer ledit article par
un article équivalent ou à rembourser la totalité ou une partie du prix
d’achat. Le cas échéant, il vous sera consenti un article de
remplacement ou le remboursement complet du prix d’achat lors
d’un défaut dans un délai de 1 an après l’achat et la livraison, ou un
article de remplacement moyennant 50% du prix d’achat ou le
remboursement de 50% du prix d’achat lors d’un défaut après 1 à 2
ans.
• sont par conséquent exclus :
- tout dommage direct ou indirect survenu à l’article après livraison
(p.ex. dommage lié à l’oxydation, choc, chute, poussière, sable,
impureté…) et provoqué par l’appareil, ainsi que son contenu (p.ex.
perte de données) et une indemnisation éventuelle pour perte de
revenus ;
- toute pièce ou accessoire nécessitant un remplacement causé par
un usage normal comme p.ex. piles (rechargeables comme non
rechargeables, intégrées ou remplaçables), ampoules, pièces en

- tout dommage qui résulte d’un incendie, de la foudre, d’un
accident, d’une catastrophe naturelle, etc. ;
- out dommage provoqué par une négligence, volontaire ou non, une
utilisation ou un entretien incorrect, ou une utilisation de l’appareil
contraire aux prescriptions du fabricant ;
- tout dommage à cause d’une utilisation commerciale,
professionnelle ou collective de l’appareil (la période de garantie sera
réduite à 6 mois lors d’une utilisation professionnelle) ;
- tout dommage à l’appareil qui résulte d’une utilisation incorrecte ou
différente que celle pour laquelle il a été initialement prévu comme
décrit dans la notice ;
- tout dommage engendré par un retour de l’appareil emballé dans
un conditionnement non ou insuffisamment protégé.
- toute réparation ou modification effectuée par une tierce personne
sans l’autorisation explicite de SA Velleman® ; - frais de transport de
et vers Velleman® si l’appareil n’est plus couvert sous la garantie.
• toute réparation sera fournie par l’endroit de l’achat. L’appareil doit
nécessairement être accompagné du bon d’achat d’origine et être
dûment conditionné (de préférence dans l’emballage d’origine avec
mention du défaut) ;
• tuyau : il est conseillé de consulter la notice et de contrôler câbles,
piles, etc. avant de retourner l’appareil. Un appareil retourné jugé
défectueux qui s’avère en bon état de marche pourra faire l’objet
d’une note de frais à charge du consommateur ;
• une réparation effectuée en-dehors de la période de garantie fera
l’objet de frais de transport ;
• toute garantie commerciale ne porte pas atteinte aux conditions
susmentionnées.
La liste susmentionnée peut être sujette à une
complémentation selon le type de l’article et être mentionnée
dans la notice d’emploi.
