Please read these instructions completely and carefully before applying
this product. Correct application is important for proper function of this product.
Indications: Unicompartmental knee osteoarthritis, articular cartilage defect
repair, meniscal cartilage repair, osteochondral defect repair, and degenerative
joint disease.
Application Instructions:
Target OA
1. Release all buckles by depressing the center circular button with the word
PUSH (IMAGE #1)
2. While seated, with your leg bent approximately 45 degrees, apply the brace
to the OUTSIDE of your leg (IMAGE #2) on the aected knee with the center
of the hinge ½”above the center of your knee cap and the brace centered on
the side of the leg.
3. Position the hinge so that it is centered on the side of the leg (SEE SIDE VIEW
IMAGE 3).
4. Secure straps 1-4 as demonstrated in the picture (IMAGE 4) Stand and walk
around to check t and adjust o-loading as necessary.
5. Adjust o-loading with the hex key (IMAGE 5). Be sure key is fully seated before
turning.
6. Turn IN (counter clockwise) for medial o-loading and OUT (clockwise) for lateral
o-loading to the desired pressure. Adjust o-loading no more than ¼ turn at a
time (IMAGE 6 & 6A).
7. To reduce migration a suspension wrap is included to add additional compression
around the lower cu. Wrap this on snuggly- do not over tighten. This wrap is
OPTIONAL and is to be used if brace is sliding down too far during normal wear.

NOTE:
Brace comes with a series of extension stops on a plastic card that can be exchanged
for the 10 degree that is installed to the front of the hinge joint (IMAGE 8).

Use and Care:
The liner and straps may be hand washed with a mild detergent. Air dry only.
Foam and straps may be trimmed and adjusted, but only at the discretion of
your Healthcare provider.
Warning:
If you experience pain, swelling or sensation changes as a result of wearing
this brace, consult your healthcare provider immediately. All adjustments of
the brace should be done under the direction of a healthcare professional.
Warranty:
Top Shelf Orthopedics will replace all or part of the brace for defects in material
or workmanship for the period of six months for straps and one year for the frame
from the date of purchase.
Caution:
Federal Law (USA) restricts this device for sale by or on the order of a licensed
healthcare professional.
