1. INTRODUCTION
This manual contains all the necessary information on the installation and operation of the
support blocks.
Some of the maintenance operations should only be carried out by professional technicians.
If you require this information and the maintenance steps, please contact your dealer.
Also included in this manual are a number of safety instructions to create a safe working
environment.
These support blocks are designed to support rated capacity, partial vehicle loads consisting
of one end of a vehicle. The support blocks are for universal use. Check your machine
manual to see what the weight of your vehicle is. Do not exceed the maximum working load
limit of these support blocks. Do not use these support blocks for any purpose other than
the support of a raised vehicle. Never use them to support any structure or building. Do not
support any human load.
Please read the manual thoroughly and observe the safety procedures before putting the
unit into operation. The operator and all persons who come into contact with the equipment
should read it carefully and regularly and have access to it at all times.
Keep this manual near the equipment and in a safe place for future reference!
Contact your dealer for any further questions or concerns you may have.
We guarantee a long period of trouble free operation if the unit is operated and maintained
correctly.
We hope you will enjoy working with your support blocks.
If you wish to use these support blocks in extreme conditions such as extreme heat,
extreme cold, extreme drought, etc., please contact your dealer to discuss whether
this product is suitable for the activities you wish to undertake with the support blocks.

These support blocks may be unsafe if adequate maintenance is neglected.
Therefore, adequate maintenance facilities, trained personnel and procedures
should be provided.
Maintenance and inspection must conform to the following practices:
1. A scheduled planned maintenance and inspection system should be followed
(seemaintenance instructions chapter7).
2. Only qualified and authorised personnel shall be permitted to maintain and
inspect the support blocks.
3. Modifications and additions which affect capacity and safe operation shall
not be performed by the customer or user without the manufacturer’s prior
written approval. Capacity, operation and maintenance plates shall be changed
accordingly.
4. If modifications are made without written approval of the manufacturer, warranty
will no longer apply.
Any person in charge of putting the machine into operation, the operation itself or
the maintenance of the machine is urged to carefully read and observe the following
instructions.
Make sure that the operators of this product are familiar with the safety instructions
and follow all the procedures. Neglecting these instructions can risk injury or death.

3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
3.1. Safety instructions for operating the product
• Inspect before every use. Examine the support blocks for cracks or damage before
each use. Do not use if even a minor crack, bend or other damage/deformation is
found. Discard the support blocks if damaged or deformed.
• The person responsible for the use of the product must make sure that all of the
safety rules in force in the country of its use are applied, to guarantee that the
equipment is used in conformity with the use for which it is destined and to avoid
any dangerous situation for the user.
• Do not operate the product unless you are of age.
• TVH Parts Holding NV cannot envisage each possible circumstance that may
result in danger. Therefore, the warnings given in this publication and those on the
equipment are not exhaustive.
• In the event that equipment, procedures, work methods or working techniques are
used that are not specifically advised by the TVH Parts Holding NV company, it is
necessary to make sure that there is no danger to the operator or other people.
• Study, understand and follow all instructions before operating this equipment.
• Do not exceed the rated capacity, be aware of dynamic loading.
• Use only on hard, level surfaces.
• Centre the load.
• Ensure that the support blocks are in correct position in relation to the vehicle.
• This means that the support blocks should be placed as wide apart as possible to
maximise their load capacity.
• In the event of unsafe use, limbs or persons can get stuck between the vehicle and
the support blocks.
• No alterations shall be made to this product.
• Use wheel chocks or other blocking devices on opposing wheels before using the
support blocks.
• Do not move the vehicle while it’s on support blocks.
• The user and/or other persons who come into contact with the support blocks or
the vehicle must wear safety gloves and safety shoes at all times.
• Others who are not working on the vehicle must keep a minimum distance of 0.5m
from the vehicle.

4. TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
4.1. Transport
If you want to move the support blocks, use the carrying rope.
If you want to move the support blocks with a car or truck, make sure that the support blocks
are fixed and cannot move freely. You can do this by securing the support blocks with a belt
or by placing them in a container or box. It is advisable to transport the support blocks on a
level and flat surface.
4.2. Storage
Store the support blocks in a clean environment, preferably indoors and in a dry area,
toprotect the support blocks from long-term exposure to moisture.
If the equipment is stored outdoors, make sure that the support blocks are protected against
moisture and rain.
Avoid direct sunlight.
It is advisable to store the support blocks on a level and flat surface.

6. OPERATION
6.1. Safety instructions
• Keep the work area well illuminated.
• Make sure that the support blocks make a firm contact with the ground.
• When the support blocks are in use no persons are near the support blocks or
under the vehicle to avoid serious injury.
• A damaged or malfunctioning product must never be used. If damage or
malfunctions are discovered during pre-operation inspection or function tests,
theproduct must be tagged and removed from service.
• Use the support blocks only on hard level surfaces. Uneven or sloped surfaces
create dangerous working conditions and can seriously obstruct the function of the
support blocks.
• Only when the person who has safely placed the support blocks gives the sign that
the installation has been completed, work on the vehicle can begin.
• When the support blocks are in proper position, set the vehicle’s parking brake or
emergency brake.
• Do not support human load.
• Do not support animal load.
• Use wheel chocks on all unlifted wheels to make sure the vehicle is stable.
• Turn the vehicle ignition off.
• Position the support blocks as wide as possible so that there is maximum carrying
capacity.
• The operator must wear safety gloves and safety shoes.
• Others who are not working on the vehicle must keep a minimum distance of 0.5m
from the vehicle.
6.2. Operating instructions
Carry out the daily maintenance check listed in chapter7.
1. Lifting
1. Apply the emergency brake.
2. Use wheel chocks on all unlifted wheels to make sure the
vehicle is stable.

3. Lift the vehicle with the appropriate jack.
4. Once at the correct height, carefully position the support
blocks under the vehicle in the designated places. Place the
support blocks on each side of the jack.
The support blocks should be as widely spaced as
possible!
If you place the support blocks too close together,
thevehicle has a greater chance of falling over.
5. Make sure that the load is centred on the support blocks.
6. Stack the blocks on top of each other. Make sure that the top
block is as close to the vehicle as possible.
7. Slowly lower the vehicle onto the support blocks.
2. Lowering
1. Carefully raise the vehicle.
2. Remove the support blocks.
3. Slowly lower the vehicle completely.
4. Remove the wheel chocks.

7. MAINTENANCE
7.1. Safety instructions for the repair of the product
• Do not attempt to repair the product unless you are trained and authorised to
doso.
• Repairs to the product may only be made by a qualified service technician and
according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
• The person carrying out the maintenance must wear safety gloves and safety
shoes at all times.
• Others who are not working on the vehicle must keep a minimum distance of 0.5m
from the vehicle.

1. Inspect for damage or cracks
A daily check of the support blocks can limit wear to a minimum:
• Ensure that the instruction manual is complete, legible and available for reference.
• Ensure that all decals are legible and in place.
• Check entire machine for: damage, corrosion or cracks in structural components.
This maintenance may be carried out by the operator.
2. Cleaning
Depending on how often and in what circumstances you use the support blocks, it is
recommended that you clean them daily.
If the support blocks come into contact with oil or brake fluids, they should be cleaned daily.
This maintenance may be carried out by the operator.
3. Inspect the carrying rope
Check the rope for fraying or breaking points.
This maintenance may be carried out by the operator.

8. TROUBLESHOOTING

9. FINAL DECOMMISSIONING AND DISPOSAL
Final, proper decommissioning or disposal of the product must be performed in accordance
with the regulations of the country in which the product is used. In particular, regulations
governing the disposal of batteries, fuels and electronic and electrical systems must be
observed.
Waste packaging should be sorted and put into solid dustbins according to the materials and
needs to be collected by the local special environment protection bureau.
To avoid pollution, it’s forbidden to throw away waste randomly. To avoid pollution during
the use of the product, the user should prepare some absorbing materials (scraps of wood
or dry duster cloth) to absorb leaking fluids in time. To avoid secondary pollution to the
environment, the used absorbing materials should be handed in at special departments of
local authorities.
