=If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similarity qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their

=Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
=The thermostat is detachable. Please note that the thermostat must only be
used on the frying Pan it is supplied with.
=The unit must not work via an External Timer or a Separate remote-control system.
=This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such
as:
1. Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
2. Dormitories;
3. By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
4. Bed and breakfast type environments.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE:
Always ensure the frying pan has cooled down and is unplugged before cleaning.
Following a few general tips can prolong the life of your frying pan:
1. Always wash the pan and cover as soon as possible after each use.
2. DO NOT pour cold water into a hot pan.
3. Never scrape with hard or sharp utensils while cleaning.
4. Wash the frying pan after each use to avoid stains caused by a build-up of
food or grease residues. Never leave food in the pan overnight.
5. Hold the unit at a 45 angle, socket side facing upwards, to wash it. This will
prevent or at-least minimize the water getting into the socket.
=Control Probe If cleaning is necessary, wipe over with a damp cloth. NEVER
IMMERSE THE CONTROL PROBE IN ANY LIQUIDS. Always ensure that the
probe is completely dry before inserting it into the socket.
=Pan-Wash The inside surface of the pan in hot soapy water, using a sponge or
soft cloth. Do not use any harsh abrasive cleaners. Normal dish washing liquid
should be sufficient. Rinse and dry thoroughly, try not to get any water into the
socket but if by chance this happens, always ensure the socket is completely
dry before inserting the control probe.
=Glass lid Wash the lid in warm soapy water using a soft sponge, rinse and dry
thoroughly.

SAFETY OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
USE:
When using an electrical appliance basic safety precautions should always be
followed:
=Read all instructions and save them for future reference.
=Check that the power used corresponds with the one indicated on the rating label
of the appliance.
=Make sure that the lid knob is assembled securely before use.
=Always insert the temperature control probe into the unit before plugging the
appliance into the electric socket.
=After use, turn the control dial to '0', switch off the appliance and disconnect it

BEFORE/OR FIRST USE OF YOUR WOK
You must read all instructions before using.
=Remove all packing material and please check carefully to ensure that your wok
is in good condition. It must not have any cracks on the unit and no damage to
the cord/plug.
=You must confirm that the voltage indicated on the Wok corresponds with the
voltage in your home.
=If you are using the Wok for the first time, you should boil a full Wok of water
twice and then discard the water. And then, wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
=Never connect the plug into power supply if there is no water in the Wok.
CAUTION:
=Never place the appliances on a plastic, fabric or carpeted surface while cooking.
=Never operate the unit with a damaged power cord or plug, or if the actual unit
has been damaged in any way.
=Do not use outdoors.
=Keep the unit away from combustible materials, open flames and hot stoves.
=Do not leave the appliance unattached while it is on. Always ensure that the
appliances is switched OFF and unplugged from the wall socket.
=Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces.
=Never attempt to open or dismantle any part of the appliance. Ignoring this
indication will result in the warranty being voided.
=This product is intended for household use only. Industrial or commercial use
will also void the warranty.
=To reduce the risk of electrical hazards, it is recommended not to use an
extension cord or plug adaptor.
=Always ensure the unit has cooled down before storage.

=To disconnect the plug, grasp firmly at the wall outlet and pull. Never pull on the
cord to unplug the unit.
