Technology is changing: the future of lighting is LED. We have already
started changing our bulbs to LED’s- to help mother nature, save energy,
save money- which is great, but not enough people have started
changing their lamps. LED is still growing, and will not slow down.

Hopefully nothing

The design goal with Kiyo was to create something
simple and pure, that just makes sense- hopefully, your
assembly experience will also reflect that emotion.
‘Righty tighty, lefty loosey’is probably the single most important
piece of information you need to know to assemble Kiyo.
Start from the top of Kiyo and screw each pole into the next one,
one at a time making your way to the base.
A goes into B > B goes into C > C goes into D > D goes into E
Plug in the power adapter and voila!

Touch the Power button on top of Kiyo’s head and the light will turn on.
You can now take control of the brightness as well:
1. Your first touch activates the Dim Light setting.
2. Your second touch activates the Moderate Light setting.
3. Your third touch activates the Bright Light setting.
4. Your fourth touch will turn off the lamp.

HOW TO INTERACT WITH KIYO:

Please only use the supplied AC adapter. Though the connectors may be the same as on other products around the house,
the operational voltages may differ which could cause improper behavior of the lamp.
Hopefully this is a no brainer for you, but please do not interact with the power adaptor or the lamp with wet or damp
hands or gloves or anything damp. That would not be a good time…Also, do not set it up in wet or damp places either.
Needless to say, but just in case: Please keep the lamp dry at all times. We do encourage regular cleaning, and for that,
feel free to use a soft dry cloth. Oh, and please power off the lamp before cleaning it.
Please do not attempt to repair, disassemble, or modify the lamp in any way, shape, or form. That’s what professional
electrical geeks are here for.
We do not recommend placing the lamp near any heat source or in direct sunlight (why would you need a lamp then?).
Also, its best not to place the lamp on an uneven surface, we don’t want you or the lamp to risk getting injured in any
way.
If for some reason a weird odor is coming from the lamp, or if something seems unusual, or if the power cord is damaged
in any way, please turn off the lamp, unplug it from the wall, and contact us.
Finally, if for whatever reason you decide not to use this awesome lamp for a long period of time, please store it in a cool
dry location.

Is the power supply plugged in?
Did you press the on / off button?
If you answered ‘no’to any of the above questions, you are not alone. Been there, done that…
If you answered yes to both of them, and its still not turning on, please check if the outlet you are
plugging the lamp into working with other devices. If it is, then please contact our support team.
What could be the problem if the lamp doesn’t turn on?
We are sorry to ask this but are your hands wet, or dirty? If so, please wash and dry them then try again.
Otherwise, there could potentially be some voltage fluctuations causing this failure. Please try
disconnecting the power and re-connecting. This could do the trick. Or, try a different power outlet.
If its still not working, please contact our support team.
