WARNING
• Make sure that mounting screws are anchored into the center of the studs.
Use of an edge-to-edge stud finder is highly recommended.
• Never tighten in excess of 80 in-lb • (9 N.M.)
• Installers are responsible to provide hardware for other types of mounting situations.
• Installers must verify that the supporting surface will safely support the combined
load of the equipment and all attached hardware and components.
• When installing this wall mount on a wood stud wall covered with gypsum board
(drywall), verify that the wood studs are a minimum of 2” x 4” nominal size. When

WARNING
• When installing wall mounts on a concrete wall, the wall must be at least 8” thick
with a minimum compressive strength of 2,000 psi.
• When installing wall mounts on cinder block, verify the actual concrete thickness is
at least 1-3/8” (35mm) for using the concrete anchors. When installing wall mounts
on a cinder block wall, the cinder blocks must meet ASTM C-90 specications and
have a minimum nominal width of 8”. Do not drill into mortar joints! Be sure to
mount in a solid part of the block, generally 1” (25mm) minimum from the side of
the block. It is suggested an electric drill on a slow setting be used to drill the hole
instead of a hammer drill to avoid breaking out the back of the hole when entering a
void or cavity.
• Installers must verify that the supporting surface will safely support the combined
load of the equipment and all attached hardware and components.
• Tighten screws so that wall bracket is rmly attached, but don’t overtighten.
Overtightening can damage screws, greatly reducing their holding power.
• Never Tighten in excess of 80 in-lb (9 N.M.)
• Always attach concrete anchors directly to load-bearing concrete.
• Never attach concrete anchors to concrete covered with plaster, drywall or other
finishing material.
