Installation
Note: The following instructions assume that two network devices are currently
connected together.
Single Device Protection:
1. Disconnect the installed patch cable from the device you wish to protect
and attach this cable to the “Cable End” of the In-Line HDBaseT & 10G
Network Surge Protector.
2. Using a Cat5/5e/6 patch cable (not included), connect the device to be
protected to the “Equipment End” of the In-Line HDBaseT & 10G Network
Surge Protector.
Note: For best protection performance, the patch cable between the “Equipment
End” of the In-Line HDBaseT & 10G Network Surge Protector and the equipment
to be protected should not exceed 300 ft. (90 m). Tripp Lite’s N001-Series Cat5e
Snagless Patch Cables are recommended.
3. Connect the ground wire to the In-Line HDBaseT & 10G Network Surge
Protector and then to earth ground.

Installation
Multiple Device Protection:
Note: The maximum distance between any two In-Line HDBaseT & 10G Network
Surge Protectors is 328 ft. (100 m).
1. Disconnect the installed patch cables from both of the devices you wish to
protect.
2. Connect an In-Line HDBaseT & 10G Network Surge Protector to each end
of the previously uninstalled patch cable, ensuring both ends of the patch
cable are connected to the “Cable End” of the In-Line HDBaseT & 10G
Network Surge Protector.
3. Using Cat5/5e/6 patch cables (not included), connect the “Equipment
End” of each In-Line HDBaseT & 10G Network Surge Protector to the
network devices you wish to protect.
Note: For best protection performance, the Cat5/5e/6 patch cable between the
“Equipment End” of the In-Line HDBaseT & 10G Network Surge Protector and the
network equipment to be protected should not exceed 300 ft. (90 m). Tripp Lite’s
N001-Series Cat5e Snagless Patch Cables are recommended.
4. Connect the ground wire to each In-Line HDBaseT & 10G Network Surge
Protector and then to earth ground.

Warranty and Product Registration
2-Year Limited Warranty
Tripp Lite warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period
of two (2) years from the date of initial purchase. Tripp Lite’s obligation under this warranty is
limited to repairing or replacing (at its sole option) any such defective products. To obtain service
under this warranty, you must obtain a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number from
Tripp Lite or an authorized Tripp Lite service center. Products must be returned to Tripp Lite or an
authorized Tripp Lite service center with transportation charges prepaid and must be accompanied
by a brief description of the problem encountered and proof of date and place of purchase. This
warranty does not apply to equipment, which has been damaged by accident, negligence or
misapplication or has been altered or modified in any way.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, Tripp Lite MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Some states do not permit limitation or exclusion of implied warranties; therefore, the aforesaid
limitation(s) or exclusion(s) may not apply to the purchaser.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED ABOVE, IN NO EVENT WILL Tripp Lite BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT,
SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THIS

Instalación
Nota: Las siguientes instrucciones asumen que dos dispositivos de red están
actualmente conectados entre sí.
Protección de un Solo Dispositivo:
1. Desconecte el cable patch instalado del dispositivo que desee proteger y
conecte este cable al “extremo del Cable” del Supresor de Sobretensiones
de Red HDBaseT y 10G En Línea.
2. Utilizando un cable patch Cat5 / Cat5e / Cat6 (no incluido), conecte
el dispositivo a proteger a la “Terminal del Equipo” del equipo en línea
Supresor de Sobretensiones de Red HDBaseT En Línea y 10G.
Nota: Para obtener el mejor rendimiento de protección, el cable patch entre
la “Terminal del Equipo” del Supresor de Supresor de Sobretensiones de Red
HDBaseT y 10G En Línea y el equipo a proteger no debe superar 91 m [300 pies].
Se recomiendan Cables Patch Snagless Cat5e Serie N001 de Tripp Lite
3. Conecte el cable de tierra a cualquier extremo Supresor de Sobretensiones
de Red HDBaseT y 10G En Línea y después a tierra física.

Instalación
Protección de Múltiples Dispositivos:
Nota: La distancia máxima entre dos Supresores de Sobretensiones de Red HDBaseT
y 10G En Línea es de 100 m [328 pies].
1. Desconecte los cables patch instalados de ambos dispositivos que desea
proteger.
2. Conecte un Supresor de Sobretensiones de Red HDBaseT y 10G En Línea
a cada extremo del cable patch desinstalado anteriormente, asegurándose
de que ambos extremos del cable patch están conectados a la “Terminal
del Cable” del Supresor de Sobretensiones de Red HDBaseT En Línea y
10G
3. Usando cables patch Cat5 / Cat5e / Cat6 (no incluidos), conecte la
“Terminal de Equipo” de cada Supresor de Sobretensiones de Red
HDBaseT y 10G En Línea a los dispositivos de red que desee proteger.
