Notes:
• This product is recommended for use with Apple
MacBook Pro 61W/87W PD chargers.
• Current is equally distributed among all ports. In
instances where the full 45W is required from the
USB-C PD 3.0 port, the current will be renegotiated
to accommodate the USB-C PD 3.0 port first.
1. Remove the existing USB-C cable on your
Apple USB-C PD charger.
2. Connect the U280-A04-A3C1 hub to the
Type-C port PD charger as shown in the
figure below. Then, reconnect the USB-C
cable to the hub’s USB-C PD port.

Warranty and
Product Registration
2-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
TRIPP LITE warrants its products to be free from defects in
materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years
from the date of initial purchase. TRIPP LITE’s obligation
under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing (at its
sole option) any such defective products. To obtain service
under this warranty, you must obtain a Returned Material
Authorization (RMA) number from TRIPP LITE or an authorized
TRIPP LITE service center. Products must be returned to
TRIPP LITE or an authorized TRIPP LITE service center with
transportation charges prepaid and must be accompanied by
a brief description of the problem encountered and proof of
date and place of purchase. This warranty does not apply to
equipment, which has been damaged by accident, negligence
or misapplication or has been altered or modified in any way.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, TRIPP LITE MAKES NO
WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE. Some states do not permit limitation or exclusion
of implied warranties; therefore, the aforesaid limitation(s) or
exclusion(s) may not apply to the purchaser.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED ABOVE, IN NO EVENT WILL TRIPP LITE
BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF
THIS PRODUCT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF
SUCH DAMAGE. Specifically, TRIPP LITE is not liable for any
costs, such as lost profits or revenue, loss of equipment, loss
of use of equipment, loss of software, loss of data, costs of
substitutes, claims by third parties, or otherwise.

Under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE) Directive and implementing regulations,
when customers buy new electrical and electronic
equipment from Tripp Lite they are entitled to:
• Send old equipment for recycling on a one-for-one,
like-for-like basis (this varies depending on the
country)
• Send the new equipment back for recycling when
this ultimately becomes waste

Notas:
• Este producto es recomendado para uso con
cargadores PD de 61W/87W para Apple MacBook Pro.
• La corriente se distribuye por igual entre todos los
puertos. En los casos en que se requieran los 45W
completos desde el puerto USB-C PD 3.0, la corriente
se renegociará para acomodar primero el puerto
USB-C PD 3.0.
1. Retirar el cable USB-C existente en su
cargador Apple PD USB-C
2. Conecte el hub U280-A04-A3C1 al puerto

Fonctionnement
Remarques :
• Il est recommandé d'utiliser ce produit avec les
chargeurs PD de 61 W/87 W MacBook Pro Apple.
• Le courant est distribué également parmi tous les
ports. Dans les cas où la totalité des 45 W est requise
par le port USB-C PD 3.0, le courant sera régénéré
pour accommoder d'abord le port USB-C PD 3.0.
1. Retirer le câble USB-C existant sur le
chargeur USB-C PD Apple.
2. Raccorder le concentrateur U280-A04-A3C1
au chargeur PD du port Type-C comme
illustré dans la figure ci-dessous. Reconnecter
ensuite le câble USB-C au port USB-C PD du
concentrateur.
