Short Operating Instruction
for Digital Video Recorder mAVR H.264S

The μAVR-H.264 audio/video recorder is intended
for professional recording of video and audio
signals onto ash memory card (up to 32 GB).
The recordings can be further uploaded onto a
computer, decoded (converted) and played back.
The recorder can provide video recording either
from the built-in recorder video camera or from
an external source (external video camera, video
player, TV video output etc.). Tuning the recorder
parameters, you can optimize brightness, contrast
range, saturation, and color.
The recorder can provide audio recording either
from the built-in microphone or from an external
source. You can control the amplication manually
or by usingan au tomatic system (mono or stereo).

The recorder has extremely small size and
weight, high recording density (high recording
quality is preserved), low power consumption,
20kHz frequency band and a wide dynamic range
up to 92 dB (audio) and 68dB (video).
The recorder has a built-in clock and calendar
with an option to correct their accuracy.There is
an option to start and stop the recording at the
preset time. With the help of 10 independent
timers, available in the recorder you can set the
recording’s duration along with the time, date or
weekday when it will automatically begin.You can
set the recorder’s parameters to start recording
according to the sound level and motion. There is
also an opportunity for prehistory recording.
The recorder gets power supply either from a
rechargeable lithium battery or from an external
power source. When getting power supply from the
external power source, the recorder’s rechargeable
battery is charging. The recorder can provide
power supply for external video camera with output
voltage option (5 or 12 V).

Video Recorder Starting and Testing
Connect a charged battery to the device. Press
“FN” button and unlock the keyboard following
the instructions on the LCD. Insert memory card
(bond pads down) into the recorder’s card reader
(see position 14). After the card is scanned and
set, the device is ready to start operating. To start
the recording move Switch (position 1) to the right.
To stop the recording move Switch (position 1) to
the left.
Remove memory card. Copy the following directory
from the shipped Software CD: \Miniature Audio-
and-Video recorders\ MAVR H264S\Manager\
v1_15. Connect memory card to the PC through
card-reader.
Run mavr_h264S_v115 program. Choose “Setting”
tab. Click on “Setting”. In the appeared window
browse for the directory of memory card. Then
enter a directory to save these les on the PC.
Shift to “Conversion” tab and click on “Scanning”.
All the recordings will be displayed on the screen.
Select the required ones and press the button
“Conversion”. An mp4 le will be saved in the
folder specied. The le can be played back by
a standard player installed in Windows Operating
System.

Battery Charging
Connect the recorder to 220V power network
using power adapter (5B connector to connect the
adapter).
Full charging takes 2 hours approximately.
A pictogram on the recorder’s control panel displays
the work mode of the charging process.
