Important Information
The Wonder Bug is supplied with a 4000mAH Lithium Polymer battery. The Handset is
supplied with a 140 mAH NiMH battery pack. Both battery packs are user replaceable.
Please read all instructions fully before using.
To clean, wipe the Wonder Bug with a clean damp cloth.
Do not allow the Wonder-Bug to become submerged in water.
Keep the Wonder Bug away from direct sunlight and heat when not in use.
Do not allow the Wonder Bug batteries to come into contact with water or other liquids.
Please retain the information in this User Guide for future reference.
In the event of an electrostatic discharge, your Wonder Bug may malfunction. In this
case, please switch it off and then back on again to reset it.
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged by an adult.
Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
Only batteries of equal size and type should be used.
Recharging your Wonder Bug & Handset
Before using your Wonder Bug for the first time please make sure it is fully charged.
Remove the cover from the charging socket. Plug the DC plug on the cable splitter
(supplied) into the charging socket. Plug the remaining DC jack into the charging socket
on the handset. Connect the power supply to the splitter cable and plug the charger
into a wall socket.
The Wonder Bug eyes will turn red to show it is now charging. When charging is
complete the eyes will change from red to white.

The Handset LED will turn red to show that the batteries are charging, the LED will change
to green when charging has been completed.
It may take up to 12 hours to fully charge if the battery has been fully discharged.
When charging is complete disconnect the charging cable and replace the
charging socket cover.
Only use the battery charger provided with your Wonder Bug.
Replacing the batteries in your Wonder Bug
Using a screwdriver remove the battery cover, taking care not to dislodge the gasket.
Remove the exhausted battery pack by disconnecting the connector. You must only
replace the battery pack with the equivalent size and type; see technical specification
for the battery information. Connect the new battery and replace the battery cover and
secure. Ensure that the gasket is correctly fitted. Please dispose of the battery properly by
taking it to a recycling point. Do not dispose in your household waste.

Using your Wonder Bug

Wonder Bug
To switch the Wonder Bug on, press the push switch under the Wonder Bug (next to the
charging socket) .When the Wonder Bug is switched on the eyes will light up. To switch the
Wonder Bug off just press the push switch again.
To switch the Handset on, move the slide switch to the ON position.
Changing the channel of your Wonder Bug
Your Wonder Bug has been designed so that four Wonder Bugs can operate simultaneously
with a choice of two speeds. Your Wonder Bug comes pre-set to the first channel and the
slow speed setting. If you purchase another Wonder Bug you will need to change it to use
another channel. You must change the channel on both the Handset and the Wonder Bug.
To use the Full all-terrain capabilities of the WonderBug outdoors please select the “Fast”
Setting on the handset. The speed selection switch is located underneath the handset
battery hatch.
To change the channel:
Remove the battery cover using a screwdriver and lift out the battery,
but do not disconnect it.
Move the slide switch to the desired channel, either A, B, C or D, then place the battery back
in the battery compartment and secure the battery cover. Please ensure the Gasket is seated
properly or water will be able to enter the battery compartment.

Adjusting the tracking
If your Wonder Bug has a tendency to turn to the left or
right this can be corrected by using the tracking control
on the handset.
Use a small coin to adjust the position of the tracking
control until your Wonder Bug moves in a straight line.

Your Wonder Bug and Handset have LEDs that give the user information about the Wonder
Bug.

International Charger
The Wonder Bug is supplied with a multi-region adaptor. The adaptor is supplied with the
UK plug fitted but you can change this easily to suit any country. Press the release button
behind the plug head and remove the UK plug and replace with the required plug
module. Push the plug module in until it“clicks” in place securely.
The safety isolating transformer to be used with the product should be regularly
examined for potential hazards such as damage to the cable, cord, plug, enclosure or
other parts. In the event of any damage, the adaptor must not be used until the damage
has been properly repaired.
The toy is not intended for children under 3 years old.
The toy must only be used with the recommended transformer.
The transformer is not a toy.
Toys liable to be cleaned with liquids are to be disconnected from the transformer before
cleaning.

Troubleshooting
Your Wonder Bug has been designed to be very robust. However, it is not intended to be
dropped or sat on or otherwise mistreated. The Wonder Bug should not be submerged in
water. Opening the Wonder Bug or Handset will invalidate your warranty.
Ensure that the Wonder Bug and the Handset are switched“ON”
Ensure the batteries are charged
Recharge the batteries.

Recharge the battery using the power adaptor provided.

usage. Mistreating the Wonder Bug or opening the unit will invalidate this warranty.
Any data stored on the unit and any consequential loss is not covered by this warranty.
