CHARGING
1. Can I charge the headset during use? Can I charge my headset with my cell phone's USB Wall
Adapter?
•We recommend charging the headset regularly/between uses.
•While we normally recommend charging the headset via a USB port on your console (for
convenience), the headset can be charged via a USB Wall Adapter, yes.
2. How long does the baery last before it needs to be re-charged?
•The Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX For Xbox headset oers 40 hours of rechargeable baery life. Aer
40 hours of use, it will need to be recharged before it can be used again.
HEADSET FEATURES
1. Does the headset need to be paired to the transmier for use with an Xbox console?
•Yes. The transmier has an Xbox mode and a USB mode. When the headset is used with an Xbox
console, you will need to put the transmier into the Xbox mode before pairing the headset and
transmier. When the headset is used with a USB device, you will need to put the transmier
into the USB mode before pairing the headset and transmier.
2. How do I mute the mic?
•The Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX For Xbox headset has a ip-to-mute mic. To mute the mic, simply
push ("ip") the mic all the way towards the back of the headset. When the mic is muted, you
will hear a descending tone. To unmute the mic, push/ip the mic all the way forward. When the
mic is unmuted, you will hear an ascending tone.
TROUBLESHOOTING
1. My headset sounds are abnormal; it didn’t sound like this before. What could be going on here?
•Please double check to ensure you have not le the Superhuman Hearing opon on.
Superhuman Hearing (SHH) is a situaonal feature designed to priorize certain sounds to give
you the edge in intense gaming scenarios. This should not be le on all the me.
•Please connect your headset to your preferred version of the Audio Hub. From there, please
check to see if you have the opon for SHH enabled. Disabling this feature should return your
audio back to its preferred state.
If turning o the SHH feature does not clear up your inconvenience, please reach out to our support
team for assistance with troubleshoong.
2. My headset keeps shung o on its own when no audio is playing.
•To conserve baery life, your headset will power o aer no audio is played through it for 10
consecuve minutes. This is a xed feature and cannot be adjusted.
•This feature helps to save baery life – if you forget to power the headset o for the night aer a
long gaming session, you will only lose a few minutes of baery life, not a whole night’s worth.

•To easily avoid the Auto-Shutdown feature, you can keep some music playing in the background,
like the game’s soundtrack. The headset will detect the audio and will not engage the Auto-
Shutdown feature. Please note that mic input alone will not avoid the Auto-Shutdown feature.

FEATURES AND CONTROLS
The Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX For Xbox oers some unique features and controls.
On the back of the le earcup there are two dials; both dials will control audio volume. Please Note: the
Lower Volume Dial will depend on which mode the transmier is in.
•The Upper Volume Dial will control the Master/Overall (Game + Chat) volume.
•In Xbox Mode, the Lower Volume Dial will control the Chat Volume.
•In USB Mode, the Lower Volume Dial will control the Variable Mic Monitoring.
oMic Monitoring is a feature that allows you to hear yourself through the headset when
you speak into the mic. This helps you to avoid inadvertently yelling at other
people/players.
Below the Lower Volume Dial is the MODE Buon. By default, this will engage and disengage
the Superhuman Hearing feature. This buon can be re-mapped/re-assigned to control/adjust a
dierent feature (instrucons for this are available here).
•Superhuman Hearing is a feature that allows you to pinpoint quiet audio cues like enemy
footsteps and weapon reloads.
Below the Mode Buon is the Power Buon. Press and hold this buon for 2 seconds to power the
headset on and o.

BLUETOOTH MULTI-FUNCTION BUTTON
The last buon on the headset is the Bluetooth Mul-Funcon Buon. This buon is used to turn the
Bluetooth on, as well as to pair the headset via Bluetooth. In addion, when the headset is paired to a
Bluetooth device, this buon is used for various Bluetooth controls and features, as detailed here (and
shown below).
Next to the Bluetooth Mul-Funcon Buon is the LED Indicaon.

MIC MUTE
The Mic itself is located on the front of the le earcup. This mic can be "ipped" towards the back or the
front of the headset to mute or unmute the mic.
To use the mic, gently push/”ip” the mic forwards. You will hear a tone (low high) to indicate the mic is
now unmuted. To mute the mic, just push/”ip” the mic back the other way. You will hear a tone (high
low) to indicate that the mic is now muted.

CHARGING
The Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX For Xbox gives you 40 hours of rechargeable baery life. Aer 40 hours of use,
the headset will need to be charged before it can be used again. Make sure to charge the headset
regularly, and to fully charge the headset before storing it.
For the best experience, we recommend charging the headset between uses. While we do recommend
charging the headset using the USB port on the console for convenience, a USB Wall Adapter can be used
to charge the headset.
Headset Storage
Always charge your headset before storing it for any extended period of me (longer than 3 months).
Never store the unit in temperatures above 113°F/45°C.

MULTIPLATFORM COMPATIBILITY
The USB-A transmier is equipped with a switch that allows you to change compability modes and use
the headset with a variety of dierent plaorms and consoles. This switch is shown (set to the Xbox
mode) in the image below:
•In the Xbox mode, the headset can be used with an Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One console.
•In the USB mode, the headset can be used with a PS5 or PS4 console, a Windows PC or Mac
computer, or a Nintendo Switch that is in the docked mode.Please note that Nintendo Switch

TURTLE BEACH AUDIO HUB
You can use the desktop version of the Turtle Beach Audio Hub to update the rmware for your headset.
You can also pair the headset to a Bluetooth-enabled device to adjust and customize the headset's
controls.
***PLEASE NOTE: For the most up-to-date informaon regarding rmware updates, please visit the Turtle
Beach Audio Hub page and select your specic model.***
DESKTOP VERSION (FOR FIRMWARE UPDATES ONLY)
The desktop version of the Turtle Beach Audio Hub is for rmware updates only. The Audio Hub is
available for download here.
To update the rmware for your headset, please do the following:
1. Download the Turtle Beach Audio Hub.
2. Once the Audio Hub has been fully downloaded, open the Audio Hub. Make sure the
transmier is set to the USB Mode, and then connect the headset and transmier to separate
free USB ports on the computer.
3. The Audio Hub will detect the headset and transmier, and automacally search for any
available rmware updates. If there are any available rmware updates, you'll be prompted to
perform those updates.
MOBILE VERSION (ADJUST/CUSTOMIZE CONTROLS)
The mobile version of the Turtle Beach Audio Hub is for personalizing/customizing and adjusng the
sengs and controls for the headset. The Audio Hub is available for download here.
To use the headset with the mobile version of the Audio Hub, please do the following:
1. Download the Turtle Beach Audio Hub.
2. Pair the headset to your mobile device via Bluetooth, as indicated here.
3. Once the headset and mobile device are paired via Bluetooth, open the Turtle Beach Audio
Hub app.
4. On the rst screen you see, there will be a "Get Connected" opon. Tap this opon and wait
for the app to connect with the headset.
5. Once the headset and app connect, you will see the Turtle Beach Audio Hub's home page.
HOME PAGE
When the mobile version of the Audio Hub is rst opened, you will see the following page.
Below the model name you'll see the baery level of the headset itself. On the Home page, you'll see
dierent features and opons that can be customized.

•Game Volume Level - This will control how loud you can hear the incoming game volume.
•Superhuman Hearing - This will allow you to toggle the Superhuman Hearing feature on, and
adjust the level of Superhuman Hearing, as well. Superhuman Hearing is a feature that allows you
to pinpoint quiet audio cues like enemy footsteps and weapon reloads.
oPLEASE NOTE: Superhuman Hearing is a situaonal feature and is meant to be engaged
and disengaged as needed. This feature is not intended to be constantly engaged.
•Mic Monitor - This will allow you to toggle the Mic Monitor feature on, and adjust the Mic
Monitor volume, as well. Mic Monitor is a feature that allows you to hear your own voice through
the headset when you speak into the mic, to help you avoid inadvertently yelling at other
people/players. The Mic Monitor volume slider will change how loud you hear yourself through
the headset when you speak into the mic.
oPLEASE NOTE: The Mic Monitor feature and volume level do not aect how loud other
people hear you; this aects only how loud you hear yourself.
•Game Preset - This will allow you to choose a dierent EQ preset, which will adjust how the audio
you hear sounds. You can choose one of the four standard presets (Signature Sound,Bass
Boost,Bass + Treble Boost, or Vocal Boost), or create your own custom preset.
•Chat Boost - This will allow you to toggle the Chat Boost feature. Chat Boost temporarily adjusts
your incoming chat audio as the volume of the incoming game audio changes, so that you can sll
hear your teammates even if the game audio gets loud.
GAME PRESET
On the Game Preset page, you will see the four standard EQ Preset opons: Signature Sound,Bass
Boost,Bass + Treble Boost, and Vocal Boost. Below those standard Presents, you will see an opon
for Personalized/Custom presets. You can select one of these Presets, or you can create and select your
own custom preset.

CUSTOM PRESETS
If you long-press or swipe le on "Custom", you will see the "Edit Custom Preset" page.
This page will have three sliders, one each for Game Treble Level,Game Bass Level, and Game Dialog
Level. Adjust these sliders to customize the audio to your preference, and then tap "Save".

SECOND SCREEN
The second/middle screen of the Audio Hub will show opons for customizing the mappable controls on
the headset itself, as well as other features.
•The mappable features of this headset include the lower volume wheel, and the Mode buon.
Out of the box, these controls are assigned to adjust the Chat Volume and toggle the Superhuman
Hearing feature, respecvely.
•Tap on the Wheel opon to see the various features the mappable wheel can be assigned to.
oWhen the transmier is in the Xbox Mode, this includes Chat Volume,Mic Monitor
Level,Superhuman Hearing Volume, and Bluetooth Volume.
▪PLEASE NOTE: The Lower Volume Dial can be assigned to Chat Audio ONLY when
the transmier is in the XBOX mode and is being used with an Xbox console.
When the transmier is in the USB Mode, and is being used with a PlayStaon
console, PC, or Nintendo Switch in docked mode, there is no way to assign the
Lower Volume Dial to Chat Audio. This is a result of the limitaons related to the
way these plaorms process the audio and is not related to the headset itself.
oWhen the transmier is in the USB Mode, this includes Mic Monitor Level,Superhuman
Hearing Volume, and Bluetooth Volume.
•Tap on the Mode opon to see the various features the mappable buon can be assigned to. This
includes toggles for Superhuman Hearing,Game Preset,Mic Noise Gate, and Chat Boost.

•Below the Mappable Features secon, you will see a toggle for the Mic Noise Gate. This is a
feature that adjusts the sensivity of the mic, to make sure that your voice is what the mic picks
up.
•Voice Prompts Level will control how loud you hear the voice prompts in the headset. These voice
prompts play when certain features are engaged, including when the headset is powered on, or
the Bluetooth is paired.
•Tones Level will control how loud you hear the indicaon tones in the headset. These tones play
when certain features are engaged, including when the mic is muted and unmuted.
INFORMATION SCREEN
The informaon screen will include an image of the headset and transmier.

BLUETOOTH/MOBILE SETUP
Your Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX For Xbox headset can be paired to a Bluetooth-enabled device like a
smartphone, so that you can make/take calls or listen to music while you game.
The headset will enter Bluetooth pairing mode once powered on. If no Bluetooth connecon is made in
two minutes, Bluetooth pairing mode will stop.
To put your headset into Bluetooth pairing mode, follow these steps:
1. Hold down the Bluetooth buon unl the "Bluetooth Pairing" prompt plays.
2. Aer placing your headset in pairing mode select the headset in your device's Bluetooth Sengs menu
to connect to your headset.
Once the headset is paired to the device, you can use the Bluetooth buon to control the Bluetooth
audio, as detailed below.

NINTENDO SWITCH SETUP
The Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX For Xbox headset can be used with a Nintendo Switch console.
IN DOCKED MODE
When the Nintendo Switch is in the docked mode, the headset and transmier can be used with the
Switch for game and chat audio, with games that support chat compability. To set your headset up for
use with a docked Nintendo Switch, please do the following.
1. Move the transmier's switch to the USB side; this will put the transmier into the USB mode.
2. Plug the transmier in to the USB port on the docked Nintendo Switch.
3. Press and hold the power buon on the headset to power the headset on.
4. Wait for the headset and transmier to pair.

IN HANDHELD MODE
When the Nintendo Switch is in the handheld mode/is not docked, the headset itself can be paired to the
Switch via Bluetooth, for game audio only. Please note that if the headset is connected to the Switch via
Bluetooth, you will not be able to hear or speak in chat, even if the game being played supports chat
capabilies.
To connect the headset to your Nintendo Switch via Bluetooth, please do the following.
1. Hold down the Bluetooth buon unl the "Bluetooth Pairing" prompt plays.
2. In the Nintendo Switch home menu, go to System Sengs >> Bluetooth Audio >> Pair Device
3. Select the headset from the menu to pair.
4. Once pairing is successful, select OK on the prompt.

The Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX for Xbox headset can be used with either an Xbox console, or with a dierent

2. Connect the transmier to the USB port on the Xbox.

MANUAL PAIRING PROCESS (TROUBLESHOOTING)
Your headset and transmier will already be paired out of the box, and so you should not need to pair the
headset and transmier before using them.
If, however, the headset/transmier LEDs are double-blinking green, the headset and transmier may
need to be re-paired.
To do so, please do the following:
1. Connect your transmier to an available USB port on your console. Make sure the transmier is in
the Xbox mode. Your transmier will double-blink green as it searches to pair with your headset.
2. Power on your Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX for Xbox headset; the LED indicaon on the headset will
double-blink green as it searches for your transmier.
3. Within 20 seconds, the LED indicaons on the headset and transmier should turn a solid green
to indicate a successful pairing.
If the LEDs sll double-blink green aer this process is performed, or if the headset and transmier
otherwise do not pair aer this process, please contact our support team for further assistance.
