.

Closing: reverse procedure. Close the lid of the roof box, slightly press the lid downwards to release the safety
locks of the lock and lock by turning the key clockwise.
After locking, try to lift the lid and make sure that the box is well closed.
Note: the key can only be removed from the lock in the locked position.
Roof box installation. Mount the roof box only on an approved type of roof rack intended for the given car.
For the installation of the roof box, a spacing of the roof beams of at least 60 cm is required.
According to the possibilities of attaching the roof rack, adjust the spacing as much as possible, this will increase
the stability of the roof box. Box or the clamping mechanism of the box is suitable for all steel and aluminum roof
racks up to a width of 80 mm and a height of 38 mm.
Placing the roof box on the roof rack
The position of the box on the roof rack should be such that the center of the box is approximately
in the middle between the crossbars (Figure 2). It is not advisable to slide the box too far forward or backwards
(due to the full opening of the trunk door). The distribution of the box is then uneven, which can cause vibrations
during driving. Also place the box parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle (Figure 3)
Fastening the roof box to the roof rack
Place the "U" steel nut across the crossbar from the bottom side of the box. (Figure 4).
Slide the plastic counterpart onto the threads in the roof box. (Figure 5). Tighten the two plastic nuts on each
clamping device in a clockwise direction.
Using a roof box
The cargo in the box must always be secured against movement with fastening straps during transport.
Inadequately secured cargo and the roof box can come loose while driving and cause an accident.
To secure the load, the fastening straps are used, which must be threaded through the eyes of the plastic pads in
the front and back of the box before loading the load. Then secure the loaded load by tightening them firmly at the top.
Observe the load height according to the dimensions of the closed roof box. If the load is excessively high, it will not be
possible to close the box safely and the lid may be damaged. Pay attention to weight distribution when loading the
roof box. The maximum permitted load of the roof box is 75 kg EcoSpace, 50 kg Yetti.
The weight of the carrier + the weight of the roof box + the weight of the cargo = X. The sum of X must not exceed
the maximum permissible roof load specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

and must therefore not be used. There is a risk of the roof box falling o the roof and causing a serious accident or
damage. ALWAYS check before and during the journey (during breaks) that the roof box is correctly installed and seated.
