1. Safety | Intended use
WARNING
CAUTION
The ARBT24 arrayboard was developed for use in professional sound systems. The array-
board may only be used by trained and qualified personnel.
Please adhere to the following safety instructions to avoid risks when using accessories.
Note the operating modes described in this assembly instructions. Other uses are not per-
missible.
Damage caused by improper use is not covered by TWAMBO.
Before every operation, check the scope of delivery of the ARBT24 arrayboard for its com-
pleteness and ensure that all parts are in perfect condition.
WARNING
The ARBT24 arrayboard may only used with the T24(N) and B30 loudspeaker.
This assembly instructions describes how to use the ARBT24 arrayboard correctly. Any other
use shall be deemed improper and may result in damage or even injury.
Modifications or alterations to individual parts of the ARBT24 arrayboard are not permitted!
Danger to life!
The ARBT24 arrayboard is an accessory designed both for indoor and outdoor use.
WARNING
The ARBT24 arrayboard may only be used by trained and qualified personnel. Personnel
must check the ARBT24 for its full suitability before each use.
WARNING
When visible damage to any part of the ARBT24 arrayboard is detected, it must be decom-
missioned immediately.
When moving (assembling, dismantling, maintaining) the ARBT24 arrayboard, ensure suffi-
cient space to prevent collisions with other objects.

4.1 Setup
4. Commissioning
WARNING
Make sure that all system structures are located on a firm, level surface and that the surface
can bear the total weight!
NOTE
TW AUDiO recommends using only the accessories specified by TWAUDiO for securing and
mounting loudspeakers.
WARNING
Please note that setting up the system setups always requires two persons!
The ARBT24 arrayboard is designed for horizontal operation.
4.2 Wind load
Before setting up the system outdoors, consider unexpected wind conditions at the opera-
tion site!
Disassemble your system immediately when wind speeds exceed 8 bft (34 to 40 kn / 62 to
74 kph / 38.5 to 46 mph) and secure the system components!
Make sure that there are no persons in the immediate vicinity of the system structure!
Make sure that the system structures are not operated over the audience at wind speeds in
excess of 6 bft (22 to 27 kn / 39 to 49 kph / 24.2 to 30.45 mph) and that there are no persons
in the immediate vicinity of the system structure!

Attach the ARBT24 arrayboard to the B30 loudspeakers using tension strap(s) with ratchet.
Tension straps with ratchets are available in various lengths from TW AUDiO.
4.3 Minimization of interferences between the T24(N) loudspeakers
To minimize interferences between the two T24(N) loudspeakers, observe the following notes:
Note that with a distance of 30° between the T24(N) loudspeakers, you can only use horns
with a horizontal coverage angle of 40° and a vertical coverage angle of 60°.
Also note that if the distance between the T24(N) loudspeakers is 45°, you can use horns
with a horizontal coverage angle of 50° and a vertical coverage angle of 90°. Alternatively,
note that you can also use horns with a horizontal coverage angle of 60° and a vertical cover-
age angle of 40°.
4.4 General safety instructions for setting up the following groundstack variants

Make sure that no unauthorized persons can access the system structures!
Cordon off the area professionally!
Any influences on your system setup, such as leaning against objects (or people) and flying
objects around, be refrained from!

4.5 Placing the ARBT24 arrayboard on the B30 loudspeakers

Note that you can place the ARBT24 arrayboard on the B30 loudspeakers in two different
ways. To do this, use all four of the ARBT24 arrayboard´s rubber feets and insert them into
the corresponding millings for rubber feets on the two B30 loudspeakers.

Note that the number of the B30 loudspeaker in this variant is two pieces side by side, as well
as two pieces on top of each other.
2. Then place the two T24(N) loudspeakers on the ARBT24 arrayboard according to your
application and secure the system setup against falling over!
1. Place all four B30 loudspeakers close together so that the ARBT24 arrayboard with the
rubber feets fit exactly into the millings of rubber feets of the top two B30 loudspeakers.

1. Place all four B30 loudspeakers close together so that the ARBT24 arrayboard with the
rubber feets fit exactly into the millings of rubber feets of the top two B30 loudspeakers.
2. Then place the two T24(N) loudspeakers on the ARBT24 arrayboard according to your
application and secure the system setup against falling over!

4.10 System setup with BSX loudspeaker and 4x B30 loudspeakers cross
1. Place the BSX loudspeaker crosswise on the floor.
2. Then place two of the four B30 loudspeakers crosswise with the rubber feets in the mil-
lings for rubber feets of the BSX loudspeaker so that they fit exactly.
3. Then place the remaining two B30 loudspeakers on top of the first two B30 loudspeakers.
4. Then place the ARBT24 arrayboard with the rubber feets into the millings for rubber feets
of the two upper B30 loudspeakers so that they fit exactly.
5. Then place the two T24(N) loudspeakers on the ARBT24 arrayboard according to your
application and secure the system setup against falling over!

5. Transport and Storage
Ensure that the surfaces of the arrayboard are not damaged during transport and storage.
Moisture can penetrate through exposed wood surfaces and cause the wood to swell.
This is why the product should be transported and stored in a safe, careful, dry and largely
dust-free manner.
NOTE
The original packaging is unsuitable as permanent storage and transport packaging.
