SAFETY
WARNING!
• Do not leave the thermometer in the oven
while cooking.
• Do not touch the hot probe with bare hands.
• Do not completely immerse the thermometer
display housing into water for several minutes.
• Sterilize the metal probe between uses by
washing it in hot, soapy water and inserting it
into boiling water for several minutes.
USAGE
1. Before using, remove protective film from front panel.
2. Unfold probe from its housing and screen will
immediately display the temperature. (See Figure 1)

NOTE: To switch between Fahrenheit and
Celsius, press the ºC/ºF button.
NOTE: Pressing the hold button before
withdrawing the thermometer from the food
will hold the temperature reading until pressed
again.
NOTE: To display the minimum or maximum
temperature, push the hold button for three
seconds. It will first display the saved maximum
temperature. By pushing the hold button again,
it will show the minimum saved temperature.
NOTE: Pushing the light button will turn the
screen light on. It will turn off after a few
seconds.
CALIBRATION
1. Fill a cup with ice followed by cold water.
2. Stir briefly to ensure water has reached temperature
of ice.
3. Insert probe into ice water and ensure it is touching
a piece of ice under water.
4. Hold down the CAL button for five seconds. After five
seconds, the display will flash CALL on the screen
and then show a temperature.
5. Use the ºC/ºF button to increase the number or the
HOLD button to decrease the number until it reaches
32ºF (0ºC).
NOTE: After several seconds of inactivity, the
display will show the temperature reading
again.
MAINTENANCE
• Clean the thermometer housing with a wet wash
cloth or by placing it under running water.
NOTE: Do not wash the thermometer in the
dishwasher or leave it in water for more than
a minute to prevent damage to the unit.
• Measurement range: -50ºF to 572ºF. It is not
recommended to use thermometer above 445ºF.

¡ADVERTENCIA!
• No deje el termómetro en el horno mientras
cocina.
• No toque el sensor caliente con las manos
desprotegidas.
• No sumerja completamente la cubierta de
la pantalla del termómetro en agua durante
varios minutos.
• Esterilice el sensor de metal entre usos
lavándolo en agua caliente con jabón e
insertándolo en agua hirviendo durante
varios minutos.
USO
1. Antes de utilizar, retire la película protectora del
panel frontal.
2. Extienda el sensor de su cubierta y la pantalla
mostrará la temperatura de inmediato.

NOTA: Para cambiar entre Fahrenheit y
Centígrado, presione el botón ºC/ºF.
NOTA: Al presionar el botón de pausa antes de
retirar el termómetro de la comida mantendrá
la lectura de la temperatura hasta presionarlo
de nuevo.
NOTA: Para mostrar la temperatura mínima
o máxima, presione el botón de pausa
durante tres segundos. Primero mostrará la
temperatura máxima guardada. Presionando
el botón de pausa de nuevo, mostrará la
temperatura mínima guardada.
NOTA: Para encender la luz de la pantalla
presione el botón de luz. Se apagará luego de
unos cuantos segundos.
CALIBRACIÓN
1. Llene una taza con hielo seguido de agua fría.
2. Revuélvala para asegurarse de que el agua haya
alcanzado la temperatura del hielo.
3. Inserte el sensor en el agua con hielo y asegúrese
de que toque un pedazo de hielo debajo del agua.
4. Presione y sostenga el botón CAL durante cinco
segundos. Después de cinco segundos, en la
pantalla parpadeará CALL y luego mostrará una
temperatura.
5. Use el botón ºC/ºF para aumentar el número o el
botón HOLD para disminuir el número hasta que
alcance 0ºC (32ºF).
NOTA: Luego de varios segundos de
inactividad, la pantalla volverá a mostrar la
lectura de la temperatura.
MANTENIMIENTO
• Limpie la cubierta de la temperatura con una
toalla húmeda o colóquela bajo agua corriente.
NOTA: No lave el termómetro en el lavavajillas
o lo deje en agua durante más de un minuto
para evitar daños a la unidad.
• Rango de Medición: -46ºC a 300ºC (-50ºF a 572ºF).
No se recomienda utilizar el termómetro por encima
de 229ºC (445ºF).

AVERTISSEMENT!
• Ne laissez pas le thermomètre dans le four
lors de la cuisson.
• Ne touchez pas la sonde chaude à mains
nues.
• Ne submergez pas complètement le boîtier
d'affichage du thermomètre dans l'eau
pendant plusieurs minutes.
• Stérilisez la sonde métallique après chaque
utilisation en la lavant d'abord dans de l'eau
chaude savonneuse, puis en la plongeant
dans de l'eau bouillante pendant plusieurs
minutes.
UTILISATION
1. Retirez le film protecteur de l'écran avant l'utilisation.
2. La température sera affichée sur l'écran une fois
que la sonde est sortie de son boîtier. (Voir Figure 1)

REMARQUE: Pour basculer entre Fahrenheit et
Celsius, appuyez sur le bouton « ºC/ºF ».
REMARQUE: Avant de retirer le thermomètre de
l'aliment, appuyez sur le bouton « HOLD ». Ceci
permet de maintenir la température affichée
jusqu'à une nouvelle pression sur le bouton.
REMARQUE: Pour afficher la température
minimale ou maximale, appuyez sur le
bouton « HOLD » pendant trois secondes.
La température maximale enregistrée sera
affichée en premier. Appuyez de nouveau
sur le bouton « HOLD » pour afficher la
température minimale enregistrée.
REMARQUE: Le bouton d'éclairage allume
l'écran d'affichage. Il s'éteint au bout de
quelques secondes.
ÉTALONNAGE
1. Remplissez une tasse avec des glaçons et de l'eau
froide.
2. Remuez légèrement pour vous assurer que l'eau a
atteint la température de la glace.
3. Insérez la sonde dans l'eau glacée et assurez-vous
qu'elle touche un morceau de glaçon submergé
dans l'eau.
4. Maintenez le bouton « CAL » appuyé pendant cinq
secondes. Au bout de cinq secondes, « CALL »
clignotera sur l'écran pour ensuite afficher la
température.
5. Utilisez le bouton « ºC/ºF » pour augmenter le chiffre
ou le bouton « HOLD » pour le diminuer jusqu'à ce
qu'il atteigne 0 ºC (32 ºF).
REMARQUE: Après plusieurs secondes
d'inactivité, l'écran affichera de nouveau
la température.
ENTRETIEN
• Nettoyez le boîtier du thermomètre avec un
chiffon humide ou sous l'eau du robinet.
REMARQUE: Ne lavez pas le thermomètre
au lave-vaisselle et ne le laissez pas dans
l'eau pendant plus d'une minute pour éviter
d'endommager l'appareil.
• Plage de mesure : -46 à 300 ºC (-50 ºF à 572 ºF).
Il n'est pas recommandé d'utiliser le thermomètre
au-dessus de 230 ºC (445 ºF).
