YEARS

Ingredients Required (not included):
• 6 tablespoons (tbsp)/90 g of salt
• 1 can of soda or 12 oz/355 ml of (non diet)
beverage high in sugar content.
• 1 medium size plastic bag of crushed ice
(crush ice cubes in a medium size plastic
bag after step 5).
Note: The Slurpee®Drink Maker performs
best when the drink used is cold and contains
a high sugar content. Drinks with a low sugar
content (eg. Diet Drinks, Bottled Water) will not
work. Also note, the finer the crushed ice is,
the better the results will be.
REMEMBER:
• Wash all parts before and immediately after use.
• Read all instructions carefully to have fun and to
get great results.
• Make sure you set up in an area where leaks
and spills can be easily cleaned up.
Consume drinks right away.

FINAL ASSEMBLY AND USE
9. Insert the cooling
canister assembly into
the cooling
chamber.
12. Attach the handle to the
top of the mixing rod.
13. Place the cup
underneath dispensing
handle. Double check
that the dispensing
handle is firmly
pushed in.
Enjoy your
slurpee drink!
Remember to
disassemble
and wash after
every use.
10. Slide the X-Lock through the
mixing rod onto the top of the cooling
canister.
11. Place the lid on top of the drink maker
assembly and attach to front plate.
8. Place lid over
cooling canister
and seal.
14. Slowly pour in 1 full can or 12 oz/355 ml
of your desired drink through the top
opening. For best results, use a cold
beverage, the colder the better.
15. Turn crank continuously for 5 minutes
until desired frozen consistency is reached.
Note: Crank may be
hard to turn initially.
If so, gently turn
handle in both
directions until
turning becomes
easier. Turning will
become more
difficult as liquids
become more
frozen – this is
normal.
16. To dispense, place hand on top of Slurpee™ Maker to hold it down securely. Slowly pull out the
dispensing handle and turn crank to fill cup. A strong seal is formed when freezing that makes the
handle difficult to pull back, this is normal and may require parent’s help. Push the dispense handle
all the way back in to
close after filling.
To empty completely,
press down on the
paddle repeatedly
while turning the crank.
Correct assembly
of X-Lock.
To remove lid.

TROUBLESHOOTING
WASHING AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Mixing rod does not
turn properly.
Mixer does not turn
properly.
Consistency of slurpee is
very liquidy.
Metal canister and mixer
freeze together.
Difficulty turning the crank.
PROBLEM
The mixing rod has come off the center of the button
in the cooling canister (see step 5). Remove the cooling
canister and open the lid. Gently rotate the mixing
rod by hand to move the ice out of the way. Make sure
the mixing rod is back on the button in the cooling
canister. Place the cooling canister back into the
cooling chamber.
The X-lock has come off the mixer (see step 10). Remove
the lid and reposition the X-lock to fit inside the grooves
of the mixer.
• Make sure that the proper amounts of salt and ice
have been used. Note: Small pieces of crushed ice
work best to completely fill the
cooling canister or add
more salt to the cooling canister.
• Make sure to use a cold drink from the refrigerator for
best results.
• Diet drinks or drinks with a low sugar content will not
freeze to a satisfactory consistency.
Use regular soda or a non-diet fruit drink.
• Make sure to turn the handle for 5 minutes before
trying to dispense.
Have a parent remove the cooling canister and mixer
by holding the unit with a towel. Hold under warm
water until the ice crystals disappear. Repeat slurpee
making process using a drink with a higher sugar
content or reduce the amount of salt.
Try rotating the crank from a clockwise to a counter-
clockwise direction and then back to a clockwise
direction. This will reduce any blockage that may occur.
Once the liquid becomes frozen, the friction will
automatically increase.
SOLUTION
Disassemble completely to clean
It is very important to wash your Slurpee®Drink Maker after every use. Soda or juice
products can dry and cause damage to the unit. When cleaning the unit, thoroughly wash
and rinse all areas in contact with food products.
DO NOT place your Slurpee®Drink Maker in a dishwasher. The Slurpee®Drink Maker
machine is NOT dishwasher or microwave safe.
