Parking Mode
Built-in 12V to 9V converter
CAM600 has a built-in 12V to 9V converter, so
that you don’t need to use another converter when you connect the unit with
car battery.
CAM600 can keep recording even though
the car is powered off.
To ensure that CAM600 is in the parking
mode, connect the unit’s negative
(black) lead to the vehicle’s chassis, or if
preferred, directly to the battery’s negative
terminal. The radio’s positive (red) lead
should be connected to the battery’s
positive terminal.
Please be careful not to interchange the
leads as this will damage the unit.
NOTE
CAM600 can detect voltage automatically. When the car is
powered off, CAM600 keeps recording. But in order to prevent
the car battery from draining off completely, CAM 600 will stop
recording automatically when the voltage is less than 11.8V.
