1Safety instructions
Read this manual carefully before use. Use the device only as instructed in
this manual. The operating instructions do not cover all possible operating
situations or conditions. The manufacturer is not liable for personal injury
or damage to property resulting from improper use.
General safety instructions:
•Only use UniqAir approved filters and replacement parts.
•Do not block or cover the air inlet or outlet.
•Do not insert items or fluids into the air inlet or outlet.
•Do not place the device in a place where it may become wet.
•Do not pull on the power cord when unplugging it. Pull only on the
plug when disconnecting the power cord.
•Only use the appliance with both filters in place.
•Only use the device indoors.
•Use only the original power cord.
•Use protective gloves when handling main filter cartridges.
NOTE! The device is intended for indoor air purification only. The purifier
should not be used to clean industrial contaminants such as welding fumes
or paint fumes.
NOTE! In the event of faults that might endanger people or the
environment (smell of burning, smoke, sparks, etc.), unplug the device
immediately and contact UniqAir Customer Service.

2Product description
UniqAir PRO is an efficient air purifier designed for indoor air. Air enters
through the openings on the top of the device, and clean air is blown out of
the corresponding openings at the bottom.
The device removes:

2.3 Type plate
Depending on the model, the type plate with information can be found:
a) under the hinged cover (see picture below)
b) next to the power connector on the bottom of the device
Unplug the power cord before opening the cover to turn off the device.
Below is an example of the nameplate and a device with the cover open.

2.5 Location of the adjustment knob and power connector
In the adjacent picture, marked as follows:

3Activation and operating
NOTE! The device should only be used indoors in a dry environment. The
device must not be used in a space where explosive or flammable materials
are handled, or in an ATEX-classified space.
3.1 Unpacking after transport
NOTE! If the product came with a separate instruction slip for removing the
transport supports, follow those instructions to remove the supports.
Carefully remove the surrounding packaging material (cardboard, plastics).
Be careful not to leave scratches when removing packing materials from
the surface of the device, especially when using a sharp object for removal.
For instructions on recycling the transport packaging, see section 4.4.

3.2 Positioning the device
Equipped with wheels, the UniqAir PRO is easy to place anywhere in a
room.
To ensure the greatest effectiveness, make sure that the air flow is as
unobstructed as possible in front and on the sides of the device. If possible,
place the device so that no wall, cabinet or other furniture impedes airflow
in the vicinity of the device.
NOTE! The device is intended for use in an upright position only. Keep the
air cleaner upright on its wheels during operation and transfer.
3.3 Connecting the power cord
Follow these steps to connect the power cord:
1. Open the top cover of the device by lifting the cover from the edge.
2. Take the power cord out from below the cover.
3. Check that the power cord is externally intact.
WARNING! Electrical safety hazard. Only use an intact power cord to
connect the device. If the cord is damaged, contact UniqAir Customer
Service.
4. Connect the power cord to the connector on the bottom of the
device.
NOTE! Due to the type of connector, the cable can only be connected in
one way. Do not force the power cord into the connector.
5. Plug the other end of the power cord into a grounded electrical
outlet.
NOTE! The mains voltage of the outlet must correspond to the voltage
indicated on the type plate.
WARNING! Electrical safety hazard. Only connect the appliance to a
grounded outlet.
6. The device will turn on after a few moments, if the power cord is
connected properly.

3.4 Airflow adjustment
The airflow of the UniqAir PRO air purifier can be
steplessly adjusted with the controller shown in the
adjacent figure. To adjust airflow, turn the knob so it
points to the desired amount of airflow. The unit of
the air flow adjustment scale is m3/h.
3.5 Tips for use
•We recommend using the UniqAir PRO air purifier around the
clock, including on weekends.
•Choose the highest possible power setting to achieve the best
effect.
4Service and maintenance
IMPORTANT! Before performing maintenance, make sure that the
appliance is switched off by unplugging the power cord.
4.1 Replacing the prefilter
The prefilter should be replaced every 3-4 months.
The prefilter is located below the top cover. The prefilter is held in place by
the loose wooden frame on top of it.
1. Lift the prefilter and the wooden frame simultaneously from the
side opposite the hinges, so that they fit past the hinges of the
cover.
2. Lift the prefilter and the wooden frame out of the device.
3. Place the wooden frame on top of the new prefilter.
4. Make sure that the airflow direction arrow marked on the prefilter
is pointing downwards.
5. Lower the new prefilter and the wooden frame back into the same
position inside the device.
6. Make sure that the prefilter is straight and firmly in place.

4.2 Replacing the main filter cartridge
The main filter cartridge should be replaced every
12 to 18 months, depending on the space in which
the device is used.
NOTE! Replace the complete cartridge as one unit.
Do not try to open the used cartridge.
1. Unplug the power cord and open the cover.
2. Lift the prefilter and the wooden frame
simultaneously from the side opposite the
hinges, so that they fit past the hinges of the
cover.
3. Lift the prefilter and the wooden frame out of
the device.
4. Remove the base plate under the prefilter.
5. Carefully lift the old main filter cartridge out of
the cleaner. NOTE! See section 4.4 for recycling
the used filter cartridge.
6. Assemble the cleaner in reverse order with the
new filters.
NOTE! Make sure that the main filter cartridge and
the prefilter base plate are straight and firmly in
place before installing the prefilter.
Finally, make sure that the prefilter is also straight and firmly in place to
prevent byflow.

4.3 Cleaning the device
Check the pre-filter under the top cover regularly for cleanliness. Vacuum
or replace it if necessary. The device can be cleaned externally with a damp
cloth. Regular detergents can be used to clean the exterior surfaces if
needed.
4.4 Recycling
NOTE! Always follow local regulations when disposing of the device, its
parts or the transport packaging.
Transport packaging
The transport packaging of the air cleaner is completely recyclable. Sort the
packaging parts (cardboard, plastic) into the appropriate collection
containers.
Prefilters
Dispose of used prefilters as energy waste.
Main filter cartridges
We recommend that you return used main filter cartridges to your UniqAir
contact person or reseller. This will allow us to ensure their proper
recycling.
If returning them is not possible, used filter cartridges can be disposed of
as landfill waste.
If you have any questions about recycling or disposing of the filters, contact
your local authority or your UniqAir dealer.

4.5 Replacing the power connector fuse
The UniqAir PRO air cleaner power connector
is equipped with its own fuse.
1. Disconnect the power cord from the
device.
2. Open the fuse box of the power
connector by pulling on the tabs
circled in the adjacent picture. The
tabs are the easiest to grip by placing
your thumb on top and your index finger underneath.
3. The opened fuse box contains two
fuses (see adjacent figure):
•The rear (1) fuse is in use.
•The front (2) fuse is a spare,
unused.
4. Press the metal lining on one end of
the rear fuse so that it pops up and
falls through the hole in the bottom
of the fuse box. Use a pen or similar object to help you press the
fuse.
5. Press the front fuse in the same way. The fuse
will pop up at an angle, allowing you to remove
it with your fingers.
6. If the fuse is tight, gently press it from below
through the hole in the bottom of the fuse box
(see adjacent figure).
7. Carefully press the new fuse into the rear
socket. You will hear a CLICK when the fuse is in
place.
NOTE! Use only 5x20mm 2A 250V slow (L) fuses.
8. Press the fuse box closed. The box will snap firmly into place.
9. Reconnect the power cord to the power outlet.

5Directives and certificates
UniqAir Pro meets the product requirements of the following directives set
by the European Union:
•EMC Directive, Electromagnetic Compatibility (2014/30/EU)
•Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/EU)
•Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC)
•Restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical
and electronic equipment (2011/65/EU, Amending Directives (EU)
2017/2102 and (EU) 2015/863)
Additionally, the device has been awarded the Key Flag as a sign of Finnish
know-how. UniqAir is also a supporting member of Sisäilma ry.

6Troubleshooting
1. The air purifier does not turn on
•Check that the power cord is plugged into both the power
outlet and the electrical outlet.
•If you’ve checked the power cord and the device will not turn
on, see Chapter 4.5, replacing the power connector fuse.
oIf replacing the fuse does not solve the problem,
contact UniqAir Customer Service.
2. A whistling or whining sound
•Check that the pre- and main filters are firmly in place. Follow
the instructions for replacing the main filter up to removing the
filter.
If experiencing other issues, contact UniqAir Customer Service.

7Warranty conditions
These warranty conditions apply to all new UniqAir air purifiers.
1. UniqAir air purifiers have a manufacturer's warranty.
2. The warranty is two (2) years from the date of delivery of the
product.
3. The warranty covers defects and faults that occur during the
warranty period due to manufacturing defects or faults in the
product’s materials.
4. The warranty only applies to air purifiers used indoors or in
equivalent weather-protected conditions to filter air impurities. Any
other use is not covered by the warranty and the warranty will be
void if the device is used for purposes other than those for which it
was intended and/or other than in the aforementioned conditions.
5. The warranty does not cover defects caused by improper use,
negligence or intentional damage to the product. In addition, the
warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of the product, or
normal staining and wear of the replaceable filters.
6. The warranty will remain valid even if the product changes owners.
However, the intended use of the product must not materially
change, for example, from end-user use to professional use where
the purifier is used as part of a service provided by a professional
or company for its own customers. The warrantor requires a
written notification about the change of ownership.
7. These warranty terms are valid until further notice.
8. UniqAir reserves the right to make changes.
