Duchamps Writing Desk
Thank ou for purchasing this qualit product. Be sure to check all packing material carefull for small
parts that ma have come loose inside the carton during shipment.
Caution: (1) These parts are cumbersome and heav . This product can best be assembled with the
assistance of one or more persons in order to prevent personal injur and to insure parts are not damaged
during the assembl process. If dirt , clean finished parts with mild dishwashing liquid and water solution
applied on damp cloth. Cloth should not be excessivel wet. Polish finish with soft cloth and an industr
recognized furniture polish.
(2) To prevent damage to our floor or carpet, please check the bottom of each piece of furniture for
stain residue and rough surfaces and also check for staples or nails left after removing the packaging material.
The manufacturer will not be held responsible if preventative steps are not taken prior to installation.
(3) Unpack and dispose of all packing material but be careful not to throw awa an assembl parts or
hardware. Read the instruction sheet and parts list carefull . Remove all staples and screws used for
packaging carefull using pliers and or screwdrivers to prevent injur and scratching or damaging flooring.
(4) During normal use ever da , screws, bolts, nuts and wooden plugs ma loosen up. The should be
periodicall inspected and re-tightened to prevent damage to the furniture and (or) personal propert or cause
injur . Alwa s check to be sure all hardware on this list and the above mentioned components is attached to
the furniture properl and kept tightened at all times.

Assembl Procedure : (Please follow the sketches below.)
Step 1: Unpack, inspect, and read assembl instruction carefull . La out the parts and hardware.
Make sure the quantit of each is correct.
Step 2: Put the top (A) upright down on a soft and smooth surface to avoid damage or being
scratched. Take off the top drawer from the wood case (B), then attach the wood case (B) to
the desk top (A) with allen head bolts (2), spring washers (3) and flat washers (4) using allen
wrench (1), tighten the bolts and put the top drawer into the wood case (B).
Step 3: Attach the metal frame (C) to the desk top (A) with allen head bolts (2), spring washers (3)
and flat washers (4) using allen wrench (1). Tighten all the bolts and turn it upright.
Step 4: Put the glass top onto the desk top (A).
Note : It is best for two or more persons are involved.
Assembly is now complete.
