I. Introduction
This model is New generation of Touch Screen POS terminals for Restaurants, Bars
/ Pubs and Fast-food stores having a lot of functions.
Main Features
New Generation of POS terminal with high-speed CPU and Real Time OS
Solid-state technology (No moving parts, No Hard Disk, No fan) offers reliability
and stability of Embedded system.
It offers: Speedy operation, Instant power on/off, Security from virus attack and
hacking and Longer lifetime with lower maintenance.
User friendly quick and intuitive programming and operation with rich GUI
Remote access/control via internet:
Remote firmware update and preset data modification, Sales report via internet
SD card / USB memory stick interface for:
Collection of report data, EJF data (& backup by SD card)
Upload/download preset data and graphic images

Password security & security levels for sales, report and program.
Graphical table plan
Table move, combine, split, creation and deletion can be done instantly at sales
mode. Table can show the information such as subtotal amount, table-opening
time/duration and customer name according to system option.
Configurable button layout
For easy operation and easy programming, it employs Area concept for each
button type – PLU, PLU Page, PLU Page Group, Function, Function Page –
which is fully configurable.
Transaction window can be placed on either side according to customer
preference. Graphical image can be assigned to each button.
Customizable print format for various bills, tickets, reports, etc.

Parts Names
Interface (bottom) and Main Power Switch for Emergency
Power ON switch Used to turn the power ON while the Main Power Switch is ON.
(Even if this switch is pressed, nothing happens while POS is turned ON.)
To turn off POS, touch Shutdown button on the screen.

II. Installation and Remarks
Precautions to use this POS safely
Should not be installed in extremely hot or cold environments, places exposed to
direct sunlight, or excessive dust or liquid.
--- It will cause overheating, malfunction or fire.
Use the specified power supply according to POS models.
--- It will cause overheating or fire.
Insert the power plug firmly into the end correctly.
--- If it is loosened, it will cause the electric shock, overheating or fire.
Do not connect with devices which may cause electricity line noise.
--- It will cause malfunction.
Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
--- It will cause electric shock and malfunction.
Do not touch or modify inside of the POS as the high voltage parts are mounted.
--- It will cause electric shock and malfunction.
If you notice strange smell or smoke, turn off the main power switch immediately.

Remarks
Check the following before using POS
1) The required peripheral(s) has (have) been connected to the correct interface
connector(s);
2) The power plug is connected to AC outlet.
Attention for the handling of Touch Panel
The surface of touch panel is made from PET sheet with hard coat treatment. In order not to
damage the touch panel, please kindly note the following points:
1) Always press touch panel by a finger. Never use hard objects (hard and sharp objects
such as ball-point pen are even worse).
Note! If you use hard/sharp objects or hit strongly, the touch panel coating is removed
and Touch Panel will not recognize the correct position.
2) When cleaning
- Do not use hard cloth. Do not wipe hard.
- Use a) dry soft cloth, b) soft cloth with neutral detergent after wring dry or c) soft
cloth moistened with Ethanol, and wipe gently.
- Do not wipe Touch Panel hard even if the protection sheet is attached on it.
- Do not use sharp objects wrapped with cloth.
- Do not use thinner, benzene, volatile chemicals, acidic/alkaline solution. The
surface may be damaged.
3) When a foreign material is caught in the gap between Touch Panel and Cabinet
Please remove it, but do not use sharp objects such as ball-point pen, especially at the
edges.
Note! If a material is left caught, Touch Panel will consider that the position is always
pressed.

Interface Cover
Before you connect / disconnect the cable to the peripheral(s), make sure that the power is "OFF".
1) Pull the cover by pushing two hooks to remove the interface cover.
2) Insert 3 projections into the opening of the cabinet and two hooks likewise.
Close the cover by pushing the positions (not hooks) on the cover indicated by triangles
in the image below.

Cable Management (how to clamp the cables)
1) The clamper for cables is placed in the base. Pull up the LCD case by both hands to see
the clamper in the base.
2) In order to open the clamper, slide the clamper downward.
3) Run the cables through the clamper and close the clamper by pushing.

How to Clean the Cabinet and Touch Screen
When the cabinet and touch screen become dirty, please wipe them with a soft piece of cloth.
As for the touch screen, do not wipe it hard with a soft piece of cloth even if the protect sheet
is attached on it.
Notes! Do not use the sharp objects like skewer, ball-point pen to remove a dust at the
edges. They will damage the touch panel.
If the cabinet becomes very dirty, please wipe them using a soft piece of cloth which is
dipped in a neutral detergent with water and is tightly squeezed. Then, wipe them with a dry
soft piece of cloth one more time.
Notes! Do not use thinner, benzine or volatile chemicals for cleaning. The surface of
cabinets may be damaged.
In case of the power failure
The display after power recovery is different depending on the period of power failure.
Less than 5 minutes: It will be back to the screen when the power failure occurred.
More than 5 minutes: It will display Sign on screen.
In case if POS is locked down

Forced shutdown and restart
Use this button only when POS locks (touch screen does not
work, etc). Press this button for 2 seconds and release it after you
hear buzzer sound. AX will shut down and restart automatically.
Use something sharp object such as a head of ball point pen to press IR button.

The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol is used
to show that this product must not be treated
as general household waste. Please contact
