Ur24T™M9 Urine Collection Apparatus
The Ur24T™ M9 is an alternave
to using a tradional internal catheter
WHAT YOU NEED
1. A disposable Urine Collection Apparatus (UCA)
2. An aspirator pump made for urine extraction
START THE PROCESS
The UCA is applied to the outside of the penis and allows urine to be voided by
the bladder without any discomfort
1. Read the user’s manual for the recommended aspirator, manufactured by
Drive/DeVilbiss
2. Connect the hose to the aspirator nozzle. Set the aspirator and adjust the
seng for opmum urine output and paent comfort
3. If necessary, trim pubic hair that might get caught as the UCA is rolled
onto the top inch of the penis
4. Clean the penis well with soap and water. If you are not circumcised, clean
under the foreskin and blot dry
5. Roll back the end of the UCA about 1-1.5 inches (Figure 1)
6. Place the UCA over the urethral opening (the hole where urine leaves the
penis) and unroll the UCA slowly and smoothly, covering the rst inch of
the penis (Figure 2)
7. Turn on the aspirator
8. Urine should start to ow into the canister within a few minutes (Figure 3)

REMOVE UCA
Wait at least 30 seconds aer the urine ow stops before removing
1. To remove the UCA, create a gap in the sucon by inserng a nger
between the UCA and the penis (Figure 4)
2. Roll the UCA o slowly and carefully
3. Turn o the aspirator
4. Dispose of the urine and wash the canister
5. Wash the UCA with soap and water or the suggested Ur24T™
an-bacterial soluon and let dry
6. Empty the bladder every 4-6 hours, or as oen as your healthcare
professional recommends
7. If asked to keep track of your urine output, the negave pressure canister
will help you measure. Take note of your urine amount, date and me

Looks damaged, broken, or has holes
Feels dierent than usual (hard,
brile, or other dierent texture)
Stops draining

3. Do not use while bathing
4. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid
5. Consult a physician in case of any allergic reacon when using the UCA. Note: All
materials used in the UCA are latex-free
6. Keep the power cord and UCA away from heated surfaces
7. Keep UCA out of the reach of children and pets and away from pests
8. Don’t let children play with the tubing as this may lead to strangulaon
Troubleshoong
Problem Possible Cause(s)
Inadequate Sucon • Canister lid not on ght • Adjust the sucon level
• Tubing not connected properly • Tubing or catheter clogged
Unit does not turn on • Check power cord and outlet

extreme temperatures, it may
change color. This will NOT

use the same UCA on more than one person. Do
not recycle. If you experience any discomfort or
