Interface board with DONGLE Interface board with MICRO SD-CARD
Operating instruction EVT-20 – DONGLE
An EVT-20 dongle is used for making the correct Interface board settings when an EVT-20
sensor is replaced.
Please make sure that serial number on both the dongle and the new EVT-20 sensor are
identical.
For replacing the sensor we refer to our TIB-767-AL.
Please note that the power supply must be connected to the interface board, when using the
dongle.
Please take necessary precautions to avoid personal injury.
STEP 1
Open EPC50 cabinet
STEP 2
Insert dongle in interface-box
STEP 3
Switch on dongle.
The red LED is burning.
STEP 4
Wait until green LED starts blinking and
switch off dongle.
If green light does not start blinking, please
repeat
steps 2-4

STEP 5
Close EPC50 and the system is ready for
use.
The dongle can be disposed according to
local rules after use.

An EVT-30 micro sd-card is used for making the correct Interface board settings when an
EVT-30 sensor is replaced. Please make sure that serial number on both the micro sd-card
and the new EVT-30 sensor are identical.
For replacing the sensor we refer to our TIB-781-AL.
Please note that the power supply should NOT be connected to the interface board, when
changing the micro sd-card.
Please take necessary precautions to avoid personal injury.
STEP 1
Open EPC60 cabinet. Make sure the
power of the interface board is switched
off.
STEP 2
Open the interface board, by removing
topplate.
To do so, remove screws as on picture.
STEP 3
Remove the micro sd-card out of its slot.
A Slide the metal cover down over the
PCB- board, just a little, in the arrow
direction.
BAfter a small click, the cover will be
ejected upwards.
CLift the cover straight up.
DSlide the micro sd-card out of the
cover.
Pay attention not to mix the old
and new micro sd-cards.

Please note that data is saved on the
micro sd-card which may be used for
future analyses.
STEP 4
Place the new micro sd-card in the
interface box in reverse direction when
removing it.
Follow step 2D – 2C – 2B – 2A
STEP 5
Close the interface board in reverse
direction when removing it in step 2.
STEP 6
Switch on the power of the interface
board.
The new settings will be automatically
loaded.
STEP 7
Close EPC60 cabinet and the system is
ready for use.
