Thank you for choosing this extractor hood. This instruction manual has been designed to
provide you with all the necessary instructions linked to the installation, use and maintenance
of you appliance. Please read this instruction manual carefully before installing and using the
device to ensure that it is used correctly and safely.
The extractor hood is made from high-quality materials and has a simple design. It is tted
with a powerful electric motor and centrifugal fan and also offers a great extraction capacity,
silent operation, non-stick grease lters and easy assembly.
• Children must never be allowed to use the appliance.
• The extractor hood is intended for domestic use only. It is not
suitable for use with barbecues, professional grills or any other
commercial equipment.
• The extractor hood and its filters must be cleaned regularly to
keep them in good working order.
• Clean the extractor hood according tothe instruction manual
ensuring that there isno risk of burning. Cleaning the appliance
without observing the instructions could present a
fire hazard.
• Direct cooking on a gas cooker is prohibited.
• Make sure that the kitchen is always well ventilated.
• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, one of their technicians or another similarly
qualified party to avoid all risks.
• The room must be well ventilated when using the extractor
hood at the same time as appliances which run on the combustion
of gas or other fuels.
• Air must not be discharged in a conduit used for the extraction
of vapour coming from appliances operating on the basis of the
combustion of gas or other fuels.
•You must respect the regulations relating to the evacuation of
air.

• If you have an external outlet, you can connect your extractor hood as illustrated below using
an extraction conduit (flexible tube made from aluminium, enamel or other non-flammable
material tube with an internal diameter of 150 mm).
• Power down the appliance and disconnect from the mains prior to installation.
• For optimum results, the extractor hood should be installed at a distance of 65 to 75 cm
above the cooking hob.

WARNING
Please refer to the warnings on the instruction sheet concerning the
operation of the appliance when air is evacuated outside the room.
When the extractor hood and appliances supplied with energy sources other than electricity
are operating at the same time, the negative pressure in the room must not exceed 4 Pa
(4 x 10-5 bar).
Make three 8 mm holes in which to house the bracket. Screw in and tighten the bracket into
the wall using the screws and dowels provided.

Raise the extractor hood so that it can be attached to the wall bracket.

Once the extractor hood is suspended on the wall bracket, remove the grease filters and draw
2 marker points inside the hood so that holes can be made for the safety screws. Remove
the hood, make the two corresponding holes and insert 2 wall dowels. Finally fix the safety
screws in place using 2 screws (ST4 x 30 mm).
Attach the check valve to the air outlet on the extractor hood. Then connect the evacuation
tube to the check valve as illustrated below.
Installation in the chimney
Insert the upper chimney into the lower chimney and use two 8 mm ST4 screws to attach the
lower and upper chimneys together.
Before attaching the bracket to the chimney, determine the position of the lower chimney
bracket by creating holes so that it can be attached at a later stage.
NB
Do not tighten the screws too much and make sure that you can adjust
the upper chimney by sliding it in after assembly.

Make two 8 mm holes in which to house plate II. Screw in and tighten plate II to the wall using
two of the screws and dowels provided. Slide the upper chimney upwards and attach it to
plate II using two 8 mm ST4 screws.

Recycling version
Ask your salesperson to provide you with some active charcoal
filters to transform the hood from the evacuation version to the
recycling version.
Install the active charcoal filter (cassette)
• The aluminium filter must be removed to install the active
charcoal filter.
• Open the grating, press the locking device and pull the filter
downwards.
• Place the active charcoal filter inside the appliance and attach
it by turning anticlockwise.
• Replace the grating in its original position.
Install the active carbon filter (cut out)
• The aluminium filter must be removed to install the active
charcoal filter.
• Place the precut filter on top of the aluminium filter.
• Replace the aluminium filter.
• We recommend running the hood for a few minutes before starting to cook. We also
recommend switching it off 15 minutes after cooking has finished to eliminate odours as
much as possible and remove bad air.
NB
Make sure that the lter is properly xed in place Otherwise it could work loose
and present a hazard .
The installation of a carbon lter reduces the extraction power of the hood.

Troubleshooting
Before cleaning switch the unit off and pull out the plug.
I. Regular Cleaning
Use a soft cloth moistened with hand-warm mildly soapy water or household cleaning detergent.
Never use metal pads, chemical, abrasive material or stiff brush to clean the unit.
II. Monthly Cleaning for Grease Filter
ESSENTIAL: Clean the filter every month can prevent any risk of fire.
The filter collects grease, smoke and dust…...so the filter is directly affecting the efficiency
of the cooker hood. If not cleaned, the grease residue (potential flammable) will saturate on
the filter. Clean it with household cleaning detergent.
III. Annual Cleaning for Activated Carbon Filter
Apply SOLELY to unit that installed asa recirculation unit (not vented to the outside). This
filter traps odours and must be replaced at least once a year depending on how frequent the
cooker hood used.

toute sécurité, veuillez lire attentivement le présent guide d'instructions avant toute instal-
lation et utilisation.
La hotte aspirante a été fabriquée à partir de matériaux de haute qualité et présente un
design épuré. Équipée d'un moteur électrique et d'un ventilateur centrifuge puissants, elle
offre également une grande capacité d'aspiration, un fonctionnement silencieux, des ltres
à graisse antiadhésifs, ainsi qu'un montage facile.
• Ne laissez jamais les enfants utiliser l'appareil.
• La hotte aspirante est exclusivement destinée à un usage
domestique. Elle n'est pas adaptée pour être utilisée avec un barbecue,
dans une rôtisserie professionnelle, ni à toute autre fin commerciale.
• Il con vi en t d e n ettoyer régulièrement la hotte aspirante et ses filtres
afin de les conserver en bon état de fonctionnement.
• Nettoyez la hotte aspirante conformément au guide d'instructions, en
veillant à écarter tout risque de brûlure. Tout nettoyage de l'appareil non
conforme aux instructions présente un risque d'incendie.
• Toute cuisson directe sur gazinière est interdite.
• Veillez à ce que la cuisine soit toujours convenablement ventilée.
• Si le cordon d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par le

• Si vous disposez d'une évacuation vers l'extérieur, vous pouvez raccorder votre hotte
aspirante tel qu'illustré ci-dessous, au moyen d'un conduit d'extraction (tuyau flexible en
aluminium, émail ou autre matériau non inflammable, d'un diamètre intérieur de 150 mm).
• Avant toute installation, mettez l'appareil hors tension et débranchez-le de la prise de
courant.
• Pour de meilleurs résultats, la hotte aspirante doit être installée à une distance de 65 à
75 cm au-dessus de la table de cuisson.

ATTENTION
Veuillez prendre connaissance des avertissements inscrits sur la che
d’instructions concernant le fonctionnement de l’appareil lorsque l’air
est évacué à l’extérieur de la pièce.
Lorsque la hotte aspirante et des appareils alimentés par des sources d'énergie autres
que l'électricité fonctionnent simultanément, la pression négative dans la pièce ne doit
pas dépasser 4 Pa (4 x 10-5 bar).
Percez 3 trous de 8 mm pour loger le support. Vissez et serrez le support sur le mur à l'aide
des vis et des chevilles de vis fournies.

Une fois la hotte aspirante suspendue sur le support mural, retirez les filtres à graisses et
tracez 2 points de repère à l'intérieur de la hotte pour percer les trous qui accueilleront les
vis de sécurité. Retirez ensuite la hotte, percez les deux trous correspondants et insérez 2
chevilles murales. Enfin, fixez les vis de sécurité à l'aide de 2 vis (ST4 x 30 mm).
Fixez le clapet anti-retour sur la sortie d'air de la hotte aspirante. Ensuite, raccordez le tuyau
d'évacuation au clapet anti-retour, tel qu'illustré ci-dessous.
Installation de la cheminée
Insérez la cheminée supérieure dans la cheminée inférieure, et utilisez 2 vis ST4 de 8 mm
pour fixer la cheminée inférieure et supérieure ensemble.
Avant de fixer le support à la cheminée, décidez de l'emplacement du support de la cheminée
inférieure en effectuant les trous qui permettront de le fixer lors des étapes suivantes.
REMARQUE
Ne serrez pas trop les vis, assurez-vous de pouvoir ajuster la cheminée
supérieure de manière télescopique après l’assemblage.

Percez 2 trous de 8 mm pour loger la plaque II. Vissez et serrez la plaque II au mur à l'aide
de deux vis et chevilles murales fournies. Coulissez la cheminée supérieure vers le haut et
fixez-la à la plaque II à l'aide de 2 vis ST4 x 8 mm.
Fixez la cheminée inférieure à la hotte à l'aide de 2 vis ST4 x 8 mm.

Installation (mode recyclage)
Version recyclage
Pour transformer la hotte de la version évacuation en version
recyclage, demandez à votre vendeur des filtres à charbon actif.
Installez le filtre à charbon actif (cassette)
• Pour installer le filtre à charbon actif, le filtre en aluminium doit
être préalablement retiré.
• Ouvrez la grille, appuyez sur le dispositif de verrouillage, puis
tirez le filtre vers le bas.
• Placez le filtre à charbon actif dans l'appareil, puis fixez-le en
le tournant dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre.
• Replacez la grille dans sa position initiale.
Installez le filtre à charbon actif (à découper)
• Pour installer le filtre à charbon actif, le filtre en aluminium doit
être préalablement retiré.
• Pla cez le filtre pré-découper au dessus du filtre aluminium.
• Replacez le filtre aluminium.
• Il est conseillé de mettre la hotte en service quelques minutes avant de commencer à
cuisiner. De même, il est conseillé de l'arrêter 15 minutes après avoir terminé la cuisson
pour éliminer au maximum les odeurs et évacuer l'air vicié.
REMARQUE
Assurez-vous que le ltre soit bien xé ; dans le cas contraire, il risquerait de se
détacher et de présenter un danger.
L'installation d'un ltre à charbon diminue la puissance d'aspiration de la hotte.

I. Nettoyage régulier
Utilisez un chiffon doux humidifié avec de l'eau tiède légèrement savonneuse ou un produit
de nettoyage ménager. N'utilisez jamais d'éponge à récurer, de produit chimique ou abrasif,
ni de brosse dure pour nettoyer l'appareil.
II. Nettoyage mensuel du filtre à graisse
REMARQUE IMPORTANTE : Nettoyer le filtre chaque mois permet d'éviter tout risque d'incendie.
Le filtre recueille la graisse, la fumée et la poussière... l'efficacité de la hotte aspirante est
donc directement liée à l'état du filtre. S'il n'est pas nettoyé, il sera saturé par les résidus de
graisse (potentiellement inflammables). Nettoyez-le avec un produit de nettoyage ménager.
III. Nettoyage annuel du filtre à charbon actif
Concerne UNIQUEMENT les appareils équipés d'un système de recyclage de l'air (sans
évacuation vers l'extérieur). Ce filtre retient les odeurs et doit être remplacé au moins une
fois par an, selon la fréquence d'utilisation de la hotte aspirante.

OPGELET
De toegankelijke delen kunnen warm worden tijdenshet
gebruik met kooktoestellen.
• Flambeer geen voedingsmiddelen onder de dampkap.
• De waarschuwingen waarmee u rekening dient te houden komen voor
in hetzelfde deel van de handleiding als die voor de montage van het
toestel.
OPGELET
Risico op elektrische schokken
•Steek de stekker van het toestel uitsluitend in een correct geaard
stopcontact. Vraag bij twijfel raad aan een ervaren vakman.
•Het niet naleven van deze instructies vormt een risico op overlijden,
brand of elektrische schokken.
WAARSCHUWING : Het niet volgen van de instructies voor het installeren
van schro
even of bevestiging voorzieningen kan tot gevaarlijke situaties
leiden op het vlak van elektriciteit.
Wat de instructies voor de installatie en de reiniging van het toestel betreft,
verwijzen we naar de onderstaande paragraaf van de handleiding.
Alvorens het toestel te gebruiken
Veiligheidsinstructies
Prociat met uw keuze voor deze dampkap. Deze handleiding werd ontworpen om u de ins-
tructies te geven voor het installeren, gebruiken en onderhouden van uw toestel.
Gelieve deze handleiding aandachtig te lezen vóór elke installatie of gebruik, om het toestel
correct en veilig te kunnen gebruiken.
De dampkap werd vervaardigd met hoogwaardige materialen en heeft een verjnd ontwerp.
De dampkap is uitgerust met een elektrische motor en krachtige centrifugaalventilator en
biedt eveneens een grote aanzuigkracht, een stille werking, vetlters met antikleeaag en
makkelijke montage.
• Laat kinderen nooit het toestel gebruiken.
• De dampkap is uitsluitend bestemd voor huishoudelijk gebruik. Het
toestel is niet geschikt om gebruikt te worden met een barbecue, in een
professionele grill, noch voor eender welk commercieel gebruik.
• De dampkap en de filters dienen regelmatig schoongemaakt te
worden om de goede werking te bewaren.
• Reinig de dampkap zoals beschreven in de handleiding om elk risico op
brandwonden te vermijden. Elke reiniging van het toestel waarbij de
instructies niet worden gerespecteerd, vormt een gevaar op brand.
• Elk rechtstreeks gebruik boven een gasfornuis is verboden.
• Let erop dat de keuken steeds correct wordt geventileerd.
• Indien het voedingssnoer beschadigd is, dient het door de fabrikant, één
van zijn technici of een ander vergelijkbaar bevoegd persoon vervangen te
worden om elk gevaar te voorkomen.
• U dient de ruimte goed te verluchten wanneer u de dampkap
gelijktijdig gebruikt met toestellen waarvan de werking berust op gas of
andere brandstoffen.
• De lucht mag niet worden afgevoerd door een buis voor het afvoeren
van uitwasemingen van toestellen op gas of andere brandstoffen.
• U dient de wetgeving inzake de luchtafvoer te respecteren.
• Dit toestel mag gebruikt worden door kinderen vanaf 8jaar,alsook
door personen
met verminderde fysieke, zintuiglijke of mentale
capaciteiten of die niet over de noodzakelijke ervaring en kennis
beschikken, op voorwaarde dat zij instructies gekregen hebben en begeleid
worden inzake het veilige gebruik van dit toestel en dat ze de mogelijke
risico's begrijpen.
• Houd uw kinderen steeds in de gaten, zodat ze niet met het toestel
spelen.
• De reiniging en het onderhoud van het toestel mogen niet uitgevoerd

Voorbereiding voor de installatie
• Voordat u met de installatie begint, dient u het toestel uit te schakelen en de stekker uit
het stopcontact te trekken.
• Voor het beste resultaat moet de dampkap op een afstand van 65-75 cm boven het
kookoppervlak worden geïnstalleerd.
