1. PowerOFFtheMCP-8IControlUnit,andwaitforafewminutesforallofthecircuitsto
properlydischarge.
2. Removethe‘MCP-8I’sDisplayCover’byunscrewingthe4retainingscrewsholdingitin
placetothecontrol’sbaseassembly.

ItisALWAYSadvisedtoperforma‘SystemSettingsBackup’beforeapplyinganyupdatein
casethereareissuesandthecurrentcontrolsettingsarelost.
1. Preforma‘SystemSettingsBackup’.Checkhereforinstructions.
2. Afterperforminga‘SystemSettingsBackup’,powerOFFthecontrol.
3. InserttheUSBStickwiththeSoftwareUpdateintotheControl’sUSBPort.
4. PowerONthecontrolandwaitafewminutesfortheupdateprocesstocomplete.
Note–Thecontrol’sscreendisplaywillturnonaftertheupdateiscompleted.
5. TheUSBStickcanberemovedfromthecontrolaftertheupdateprocessiscomplete.
Note–Ifthecontrolisnotbehavingproperlyaftertheupdate,a‘SystemSettingsRestore’
shouldbeperformedtoensurethecorrectsettingsarebeingused.
