ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly
CAUTION
•For additional protection, the installation of a
residual current device (RCD) having a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is
advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the
bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
•Make sure the unit is perfectly dry before using it.
•WARNING: Do not use this appliance near
bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels
containing water.
•This appliance can be used by children from 8
years of age and over, and by persons with limited
physical, sensory or mental abilities or who lack
the relevant experience and knowledge, if they are
suitably supervised or have been educated to use
the appliance safely and made aware of the
associated risks.
•Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
•Children must not perform cleaning and
maintenance procedures unless supervised.
• Plug the hairdryer into an alternating current outlet only, and make sure that the voltage of your mains supply is the same as that
indicated on the rating plate of the appliance.
• Do not immerse in water or other liquids.
• Never put the appliance in a place where it could fall into water or in other liquids.
• Do not try to recover an electric appliance fallen into water, but unplug it immediately from the mains supply.
• Turn the unit off when you put it down.
• Unplug the appliance when not in use, but never do it by pulling the cord.
• Remember to check regularly that the air inlet and outlet grills are clean.
• Allow your appliance to cool before storing away and do not wrap the supply cord around the hairdryer in storage.
• Do not use the dryer if it does not work properly, if it dropped or if the supply cord is damaged. And do not try to repair an electric
appliance by yourself, but apply to an authorized Service Centre.
• If the hair dryer is going to be used in a bathroom, disconnect it from the mains power supply after use, since vicinity to water may
represent a hazard even if the appliance is switched off.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Wall holder for hairdryer
Models 037C - 037M - 037R - 037S
Model 037C
Model with digital clock.
Model 037M
Model with magnifying mirror.
Model 037R
Model with universal shaver socket. A safety transformer
insulates the shaver socket from the mains and a protection
device inhibits the operation of appliances with a load higher than
20VA.
Model 037S
Model with standard European socket 2P + earthing 16A.
Installation of wall holder
This hair dryer must only be installed by a qualified electrician in
conformity to applicable safety standards. The hairdryer must be
fixed out of reach of a person using a bath or shower.
The hair dryer may be installed in one of two ways:
A = connection to wall mains wiring
B = connection to surface mains wiring
Attention: before installing the hairdryer always switch off the
general switch of your mains electricity.
For each pole a switch with a minimum break distance between
contacts of 3 mm must be fitted up-line of the appliance.
Each time the appliance is opened, the switch must be used to
disconnect the appliance.
Method A
(connection to wall mains wiring)
The connection wiring from the mains must be at least 3x1,5
mm2for wall holder model 037S.
The connection wiring from the mains must be at least 2x1,0
mm2for wall holder models 037R, 037C, 037M.
1. To fix the back of the wall unit to the wall, drill three holes for
the fixing screws and insert the relevant wall plugs (fig. 1).
2. Screw in screws (1) and (2) (fig. 2) first, leaving them
protruding at least 10 mm from the wall plugs.
3. Unscrew the screw (4) (fig. 3a) and remove the cover from
the wall unit.
4. Break the plastic membrane (5) at the back of the wall unit (fig. 4).
5. Route the main power cable from the wall (6) through the hole
left by the plastic membrane (5) (fig. 4).
6. Hang the wall unit over the two screws (1) and (2) and fully
tighten them (fig. 5).
7. Fully fix the unit to the wall with the last screw (3) (fig. 6).
8. Remove the terminal strip (7). Connect up the power cable (6)
and reposition the terminal strip. Tighten the cable clamp (8)
with its own screws. See fig. 7 for the specific model you
have purchased.
9. Models 037R, 037C and 037M are double insulated and do
not require grounding (earthing). Model 037S is fitted with a
European standard plug. The ground (earth) wire of the mains
supply must be connected to terminal (7). On this model it is
also important to check that the mains power supply is
suitable for a 16A load.
10. Remove the terminal strip (13). The power cable (11) of a
hairdryer with max input current of 10A, if not already
connected, must be connected to the terminal strip (13);
reposition the terminal strip(13) and tighten the cable clamp
(12) with its own screws.
11. Fit the cover back on the wall unit with (4) (fig. 3b).
12. Switch the power on at the mains switch. The hair dryer is
now ready to use.
Method B
(only for models 037C, 037M e 037R)
(connection to surface mains wiring)
The connection wiring must be at least type H05VV-F 2x1,0 mm2.
1. To fix the back of the wall unit to the wall, drill three holes for the
fixing screws and insert the relevant wall plugs (fig. 1).
2. Screw in screws (1) and (2) (fig. 2) first, leaving them protruding
at least 10 mm from the wall plugs.
3. Unscrew the screw (4) (fig. 3a) and remove the cover from the
wall unit.
4. Route the main power cable (9) through hole (10) (fig. 8).
5. Remove the terminal strip (7). Connect the power cable to the
mains (9) and reposition the terminal strip. Tighten the cable
clamp (8) with its own screws. See fig. 7 for the specific model
you have purchased.
6. Attention: this appliance is double insulated and no earth
connection is provided.
7. Remove the terminal strip (13). The power cable (11) of a
hairdryer with max input current of 10A, if not already
connected, must be connected to the terminal strip (13);
reposition the terminal strip(13) and tighten the cable clamp (12)
with its own screws.
8. Fit the cover back on the wall unit with (4) (fig. 3b).
9. Switch on the general switch of your mains electricity.
The hairdryer is ready for use.

GUARANTEE
VALERA guarantees the appliance you have bought at following
conditions:
1. The guarantee conditions for this appliance are as defined by our
dealer in the country of sale. In Switzerland and in the countries
subject to the European directive 44/99/CE the guarantee period
is 24 months for domestic use and 12 months for professional
or similar use. The guarantee period starts from the date of
purchase as stated on the present guarantee card regularly filled
out and stamped by the dealer or on the sale’s invoice.
2. The guarantee is applicable only against submission of the
present guarantee card or the sale’s invoice.
3. The guarantee covers the elimination of all defects arisen during
the guarantee period resulting from proven faults in material or
workmanship. The elimination of the defects will be made either
by repairing the appliance or exchanging it. The guarantee does
not cover any damage arising from incorrect connection to the
power supply, improper use, breakage, normal wear and non-
compliance with the Instructions for Use.
4. All other claims of any nature, including those for eventual
damages outside of the appliance, are excluded, unless our
liability is legally mandatory.
5. The guarantee service is carried out free of charge; it does not
affect the expiry date of the guarantee.
6. The guarantee becomes void if repairs are under-taken by
unauthorized persons.
For UK only: this guarantee in no way affects your rights under
statutory law.
In case of defect, please return the appliance well packed and
together with the guarantee card regularly dated and stamped to
one of our Valera Service Centres or to the dealer who will send it to
the official importer for the guarantee service.
Safey thermostat
The hair dryer cuts out automatically if it overheats as a result of
improper use or a fault. If this happens, release the hair dryer’s
power button immediately, switch the appliance off at the switch on
the wall unit (if fitted to your model) and eliminate the cause of the
overheating. Leave the hair dryer cool down for a few minutes, after
which it will be ready to use again. Always check that the air intake
and outlet grilles are clean and free from any blockage before using
the hair dryer. In the event of a fault, refer the appliance to a qualified
electrician for repair.
PRODUCT CARE
When not in use, the mains switch on the wall holder should be in the
“Off” position (only for models equipped with a switch). The
hairdryer requires no special care or attention. You can clean your
appliance with a cloth dampened with water.
The cleaning of hairdryers with detergents, solvents, alcohol and
other chemical products is strictly prohibited.
When necessary, the air inlet grill should be cleaned with a soft brush
or by vacuum cleaner.
This appliance conforms to European Directives 2004/108/EC,
2006/95/EC, 2009/125/EC and Regulation (EC) No. 1275/2008.

Typ 037R
Modell mit Rasiersteckdose. Ein Sicherheits-Trenntrafo isoliert die
Rasiersteckdose vom Netz und verhindert die Benutzung von
angeschlossenen Geräten mit einer Leistung von mehr als 20VA.
Typ 037S
Modell mit europäischer 16-A-Standardbuchse.
Montageanweisung für Wandhalter
Die Installation darf ausschließlich durch qualifiziertes
Fachpersonal ausgeführt werden, um die Übereinstimmung mit
den gültigen Sicherheitsvorschriften zu gewährleisten. Der
Haartrockner darf nicht von einer Person von der Badewanne oder
von der Dusche aus erreichbar sein – auch nicht bei vollständiger
Streckung des Kabels.
Die Installation kann auf folgende zwei Art und Weisen erfolgen:
A=Bei Unterputz-Zuleitung
B=Bei Aufputz-Zuleitung
Achtung: vor der Montage den Hauptnetzschalter immer
ausschalten. (Freischalten)
Dem Gerät muss netzseitig eine allpolige Trennvorrichtung mit
einer Mindestkontaktöffnungsweite von 3 mm vorgeschaltet
werden. Vor jedem Öffnen muss das Gerät freigeschaltet werden.
Montagereihenfolge A
(bei Unterputz-Zuleitung)
Die Zuleitung für die Wandhalter 037S muss mindestens 3x1,5 mm2
sein.
Die Zuleitung für die Wandhalter 037R, 037C, 037M muss
mindestens 2x1,0 mm2sein.
1. Zur Befestigung des Rückteils der Wandhalterung an der Wand
drei Bohrungen für die Schrauben ausführen und die
vorgesehenen Dübel einfügen (Abb. 1).
2. Zunächst die Schrauben (1) und (2) (Abb. 2) so weit eindrehen,
dass sie noch mindestens 10 mm aus den Dübeln herausstehen.
3. Den Deckel der Wandhalterung durch Ausdrehen der Schraube
(4) entfernen (Abb. 3a).
4. Die Plastikmembran (5) am Rückteil der Wandhalterung
ausbrechen. (Abb. 4).
5. Das an der Wand austretende Hauptversorgungskabel (6) an der
Öffnung der ausgebrochenen Membran (5) einfügen. (Abb. 4).
6. Den Sockel der Wandhalterung an den Schrauben (1) und (2)
einhängen und die Schrauben vollständig eindrehen. (Abb. 5).
7. Durch Eindrehen der Schraube (3) die Halterung komplett
feststellen (Abb. 6).
8. Die Klemme (7) entnehmen, das Versorgungskabel (6) daran
anschliessen und die Klemme wieder positionieren. Den
Kabelhalter (8) mit den vorgesehenen Schrauben befestigen.
Siehe Abb. 7 bezüglich des erworbenen Modells.
9. Modell 037R, 037C, 037M sind doppelt schutzisoliert und
deshalb ohne Schutzleiteranschluss. Modell 037S (mit
Schukosteckdose): der Schutzleiter muss an der
Schutzleiterklemme (7) angeschlossen werden. Die Zuleitung
muss für mindestens 16A vorgesehen werden.
10. Der Wandhalter ist für den Anschluss eines Haartrockners mit
max.10A ausgelegt. Ist der Haartrockner noch nicht an den
Wandhalter angeschlossen, ist die Lüsterklemme (13) zu
entfernen und die Zuleitung (11) des Haartrockners
anzuschliessen, wonach die Lüsterklemme (13) wieder
positioniert und die Kabelschelle (12) mit den dafür
vorgesehenen Schrauben befestigt wird.
11. Den Deckel der Wandhalterung anbringen und mit der Schraube
(4) befestigen (Abb. 3b).
12. Den Netzschalter einschalten. Der Haartrockner ist betriebsbereit.
Montagereihenfolge B
(Nur für Modell 037C, 037M e 037R)
(Aufputz-Zuleitung)
Die Zuleitung muss mindestens H05VV-F 2x1 mm2sein.
1. Zur Befestigung des Rückteils der Wandhalterung an der Wand
drei Bohrungen für die Schrauben ausführen und die
vorgesehenen Dübel einfügen (Abb. 1).
2. Zunächst die Schrauben (1) und (2) (Abb. 2) so weit eindrehen,
dass sie noch mindestens 10 mm aus den Dübeln herausstehen.
3. Den Deckel der Wandhalterung durch Ausdrehen der Schraube
(4) entfernen (Abb. 3a).
4. Das Netzversorgungs-Anschlusskabel (9) an der Öffnung (10)
einfügen (Abb. 8).
5. Die Klemme (7) entnehmen, das Netzversorgungs-Anschlusskabel
(9) anschließen und die Klemme wieder positionieren. Den
Kabelhalter (8) mit den vorgesehenen Schrauben befestigen. Siehe
Abb. 7 bezüglich des erworbenen Modells.
6. Achtung: Dieses Gerät ist doppelt isoliert und nicht mit Erdleiter
versehen.
7. Der Wandhalter ist für den Anschluss eines Haartrockners mit
max.10A ausgelegt. Ist der Haartrockner noch nicht an den
Wandhalter angeschlossen, ist die Lüsterklemme (13) zu
entfernen und die Zuleitung (11) des Haartrockners
anzuschliessen, wonach die Lüsterklemme (13) wieder
positioniert und die Kabelschelle (12) mit den dafür
vorgesehenen Schrauben befestigt wird.
8. Den Deckel der Wandhalterung anbringen und mit der Schraube
(4) befestigen (Abb. 3b).
9. Hauptnetzschalter einschalten. Der Haartrockner ist betriebsbereit.

GARANTIEBEDINGUNGEN
VALERA leistet für dieses Gerät – zusätzlich zu der gesetzlichen
Gewährleistung des Händlers aus Kaufvertrag – dem Endabnehmer
gegenüber eine Garantie zu nachstehenden Bedingungen:
1. Für dieses Gerät gelten die Garantiebedingungen unseres
Händlers im Verkaufsland. In der Schweiz und in den Ländern,
wo die europäische Verordnung 44/99/CE gilt, beträgt die
Garantiezeit 24 Monate bei privatem Gebrauch und 12 Monate
bei gewerblichem oder einem solchen gleichzusetzenden
Gebrauch. Die Garantiezeit beginnt am Kauftag des Gerätes, der
durch die ausgefüllte Garantiekarte oder einen sonstigen
Kaufbeleg nachzuweisen ist.
2. Die Garantie wird nur bei Vorlage der Garantiekarte oder eines
Kaufbeleges geleistet.
3. Die Garantieleistung umfasst die Behebung aller innerhalb der
Garantiezeit auftretenden Mängel des Gerätes, die nachweislich
auf Material- oder Fertigungsfehlern beruhen. Die Behebung der
Mängel kann nach unserer Wahl durch Instandsetzung oder
durch Umtausch des Gerätes erfolgen. Nicht unter Garantie
fallen Mängel oder Schäden, die durch nicht
vorschriftsmässigen elektrischen Anschluss, durch

Sicherheitsthermostat
Im Fall einer Überhitzung durch unsachgemäßen Gebrauch oder
einen Defekt des Geräts wird der Haartrockner automatisch
abgeschaltet. Tritt dieser Fall ein, muss die Taste des Haartrockners
unverzüglich losgelassen, der Schalter der Wandhalterung (falls
am erworbenen Modell vorhanden) ausgeschaltet und die Ursache
der Überhitzung beseitigt werden. Nach der einige Minuten in
Anspruch nehmenden Abkühlung ist das Gerät wieder
betriebsbereit. Vor jedem Gebrauch ist sicherzustellen, dass die
Gitter für den Lufteintritt und -austritt am Gerät einwandfrei gereinigt
sind. Ein defektes Gerät darf nur durch qualifiziertes Fachpersonal
repariert werden.
DIE PFLEGE
Generell muss dabei der Schalter am Wandhalter in “Aus”-Stellung
gebracht werden (nur für Modelle mit Schalter).
Das Gerät bedarf keiner besonderen Pflege.
Sie können das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch abwischen.
Die Reinigung der Haartrockner mit Reinigern, Lösungsmitteln,
Alkohol und sonstigen Chemikalien ist streng verboten.
Gegebenenfalls sollte das Lufteinlassgitter mit einem Pinsel
gereinigt oder einfach mit dem Staubsauger abgesaugt werden.
Dieses Gerät erfüllt die Bestimmungen der europäischen Richtlinien
2004/108/EG, 2006/95/EG, 2009/125/EG und der Verordnung (EG)

Modèle avec prise rasoir universelle. Un transformateur de sécurité
isole la prise rasoir de l’installation électrique du secteur et une
protection empêche l’utilisation d’appareils de puissance supérieure à
20 VA.
Mod. 037S
Modèle avec prise standard européen 16 A.
Installation du support mural
La pose doit être réalisée exclusivement par un technicien qualifié
conformément aux normes de sécurité en vigueur. Le sèche-
cheveux doit être placé à une distance de sécurité suffisante pour
empêcher son utilisation dans la baignoire et dans la douche.
La pose peut être réalisée de deux façons:
A=connexion directe au secteur
B=connexion au secteur au moyen d’un câble extérieur
Attention: avant de procéder au montage, actionnez
l’interrupteur général pour disjoncter le réseau.
Installez en amont de l’appareil un interrupteur avec une ouverture
entre contacts d’au moins 3 mm pour chaque pôle. Chaque fois
que vous ouvrez l’appareil, l’interrupteur doit être actionné pour
ouvrir le circuit.
Méthode A
(connexion directe au secteur)
Les câbles d’alimentation pour le support mural 037S doivent être
au moins 3x1,5 mm2.
Les câbles d’alimentation pour le support de paroi 037R, 037C,
037M doivent être au moins 2x1,0 mm2.
1. Pour fixer l’arrière du support au mur, pratiquer trois trous pour
les vis et y introduire les chevilles correspondantes (fig. 1).
2. Introduire d’abord les vis (1) et (2) (fig. 2) ; les laisser
dépasser des chevilles d’au moins 10 mm.
3. Ôter le couvercle du support mural en desserrant la vis (4)
(fig. 3a).
4. Couper la membrane en plastique (5) à l'arrière du support
mural. (fig. 4).
5. Enfiler le câble d’alimentation qui arrive du mur (6) dans le
trou face à l’ouverture de la membrane (5). (fig. 4).
6. Suspendre la base du support aux vis (1) et (2); les serrer
complètement. (fig. 5).
7. Terminer la pose en introduisant la vis (3) (fig. 6).
8. Enlever le bornier (7), le connecter au cordon d’alimentation
(6) et le remettre à sa place. Fixer le guide câble (8) avec les
vis spéciales. Voir fig. 7 les particularités de chaque modèle.
9. Les modèles 037R, 037C, 037M sont équipés de double
isolation et ne nécessitent pas de mise à la terre. Dans le
modèle 037S avec prise europeenne standard, le fil conducteur
de terre de l’installation doit être connecté à la borne (7). Dans
ce cas, vérifiez également que l’installation convient à une
charge de 16A.
10. Enlever le bornier (13). Le cordon d’alimentation (11) d’un
sèche-cheveux ayant un courant d’entrée maximum de 10 A,
doit impérativement (si ce n’est déjà le cas) être branché au
bornier (13) ; remettre le bornier (13) en place et fixer le guide-
câble (12) avec les vis prévues à cet effet.
11. Appliquer le couvercle du support sur le mur et le fixer avec la
vis (4).(fig. 3b).
12. Allumer l’interrupteur du réseau. Le sèche-cheveux est prêt.
Méthode B
(uniquement pour modèles 037C, 037M et 037R)
(connexion au secteur au moyen d’un câble extérieur)
Le câble d’alimentation doit être au moins du type H05VV-F2x1 mm2.
1. Pour fixer l’arrière du support au mur, pratiquer trois trous pour
les vis et y introduire les chevilles correspondantes (fig. 1).
2. Introduire d’abord les vis (1) et (2) (fig. 2) et les laisser dépasser
des chevilles d’au moins 10 mm.
3. Ôter le couvercle du support mural en desserrant la vis (4)(fig. 3a).
4. Enfiler le cordon de connexion au réseau d’alimentation (9) dans
le trou (10)(fig. 8).
5. Enlever le bornier (7), connecter le cordon de connexion au
réseau (9) et le remettre en place. Fixer le guide câble (8) avec
les vis spéciales. Voir fig. 7 selon le modèle acheté.
6. Attention: cet appareil a une double isolation. Il n’a pas besoin
d’être raccordé à la terre.
7. Enlever le bornier (13). Le cordon d’alimentation (11) d’un
sèche-cheveux ayant un courant d’entrée maximum de 10 A, doit
impérativement (si ce n’est déjà le cas) être branché au bornier
(13); remettre le bornier (13) en place et fixer le guide-câble (12)
avec les vis prévues à cet effet.
8. Appliquer le couvercle du support mural et le fixer avec la vis
(4).(fig. 3b).
9. Actionnez l’interrupteur d’alimentation: le sèche-cheveux est
désormais prêt pour l’utilisation.

définies par notre distributeur officiel dans le pays d’achat. En
Suisse et dans les pays où la directive européenne 44/99/CE est
envigueur, la période couverte par la garantie est de 24 mois
pour un usage domestique et de 12 mois pour un usage
professionnel ou assimilé. La période de garantie commence à
courir à compter de la date d’achat de ’l’appareil. La date
d’achat est la date qui figure sur le présent certificat de garantie
dûment rempli et portant de cachet du vendeur ou sur la facture

2. La garantie n’est applicable que sous présentation de ce
certificat de garantie ou du document d’achat.
3. La garantie couvre l’élimination de tous les défauts s’étant
vérifiés lors de la période de garantie dérivant de défauts de

Thermostat de sécurité
En cas de surchauffe due à une utilisation impropre ou à un défaut
de l’appareil, le sèche-cheveux s’arrête automatiquement. Dans ce
cas, lâcher immédiatement le bouton du sèche-cheveux, éteindre
l’interrupteur du support mural (selon le modèle) et supprimer la
cause de la surchauffe. L’appareil pourra être utilisé à nouveau
après avoir refroidi quelques minutes. Avant chaque utilisation,
vérifier que les grilles d’entrée et de sortie d’air de l’appareil sont
parfaitement propres. L’’appareil doit être réparé exclusivement par
un technicien qualifié.
ENTRETIEN
Si le sèche-cheveux n’est pas utilisé, l’interrupteur du support
mural doit être positionné sur “éteint” (0) (uniquement pour les
modèles équipés d’un interrupteur). Cet appareil ne demande pas
de soins particuliers. Vous pouvez nettoyer votre appareil à l’aide d’un
chiffon imbibé d'eau.
Il est formellement interdit de nettoyer les sèche-cheveux avec des
détergents, des solvants, de l'alcool et des produits chimiques.
S’il était nécessaire, nettoyez la grille d’entrée de l’air avec un
pinceau ou un aspirateur.
Cet appareil est conforme aux directives européennes
2004/108/CE, 2006/95/CE, 2009/125/CE et au règlement (CE)
N. 1275/2008.

9. I modelli 037R, 037C, 037M sono dotati di doppio isolamento e
non necessitano di messa a terra. Nel modello 037S con presa
standard europea, il conduttore di terra dell’impianto di rete deve
essere collegato al morsetto (7). In questo caso deve anche essere
verificato che l’impianto di rete sia previsto per un carico di 16A.
10. Il supporto è predisposto per il collegamento di un asciugacapelli
con una corrente massima di 10A. Se l’asciugacapelli non è
collegato, rimuovere il morsetto (13) e collegarvi il cavo di
alimentazione (11) dell’asciugacapelli; riposizionare il
morsetto(13) e fissare il pressacavo (12) con le apposite viti.
11. Applicare il coperchio del supporto a muro e fissarlo con la vite (4).
(fig. 3b).
12. Accendere l’interruttore di rete. L’asciugacapelli è pronto per l’uso.
Metodo B
(solo per modelli 037C, 037M e 037R)
(collegamento alla rete di alimentazione per mezzo di un cavo
esterno)
Il cavo di alimentazione deve essere almeno del tipo H05VV-F 2x1 mm2.
1. Per fissare alla parete la parte posteriore del supporto a muro
realizzare tre fori per le viti ed inserire i relativi tasselli (fig. 1).
2. Inserire prima le viti (1) e (2) (fig. 2) e lasciare che le stesse
sporgano almeno 10 mm dai tasselli.
3. Togliere il coperchio del supporto a muro svitando la vite (4) (fig. 3a).
4. Inserire il cavo di collegamento alla rete di alimentazione (9) nel
foro (10), (fig. 8).
5. Togliere il morsetto (7), collegare il cavo di collegamento alla rete
di alimentazione (9) e riposizionare lo stesso. Fissare il
pressacavo (8) con le apposite viti. Vedere fig. 7 relativa al
modello acquistato.
6. Attenzione: questo apparecchio è dotato di doppio isolamento e
non è provvisto di messa a terra.

• Adoperate I’asciugacapelli in modo che le griglie di entrata e di
uscita dell’aria non vengano mai ostruite.
• Non utilizzate il vostro apparecchio se presenta un’anomalia, se è
caduto o se il cordone è danneggiato.
• Non cercate di riparare un apparecchio elettrico da soli, ma
rivolgetevi ad un tecnico autorizzato.

isola la presa rasoio dall’impianto elettrico di rete ed una protezione
impedisce l’utilizzo di apparecchi di potenza superiore a 20 VA.
Modello 037S
Modello con presa standard europea 16 A.
Installazione del supporto a muro
L’installazione deve essere eseguita esclusivamente da un tecnico
qualificato, in modo che sia conforme alle normative di sicurezza
vigenti. L’asciugacapelli non deve essere raggiungibile da una
persona che stia utilizzando la vasca da bagno o la doccia, anche
alla massima estensione del cavo.
Esistono due diversi metodi di installazione:
A=collegamento diretto alla rete di alimentazione
B=collegamento alla rete di alimentazione per mezzo di un
cavo esterno
Attenzione: prima del montaggio spegnere l’interruttore generale
della rete.
A monte dell’apparecchio deve essere installato un interruttore con
un’apertura dei contatti di almeno 3 mm per ogni polo. Ogni volta
che si apre l’apparecchio, l’interruttore deve essere azionato per
aprire il circuito.
Metodo A
(collegamento diretto alla rete di alimentazione)
I cavi di alimentazione per il supporto a muro mod. 037S devono
essere almeno 3x1,5 mm2.
I cavi di alimentazione per il supporto a muro mod. 037R, 037C,
037M devono essere almeno 2x1,0 mm2.
1. Per fissare alla parete la parte posteriore del supporto a muro
realizzare tre fori per le viti ed inserire i relativi tasselli (fig. 1).
2. Inserire prima le viti (1) e (2) (fig. 2) e lasciare che le stesse
sporgano almeno 10 mm dai tasselli.
3. Togliere il coperchio del supporto a muro svitando la vite (4)
(fig. 3a).
4. Rompere la membrana in plastica (5) che si trova nella parte
posteriore del supporto a muro. (fig. 4).
5. Infilare il cavo principale di alimentazione che esce dalla parete (6)
nel foro in corrispondenza della membrana aperta (5). (fig. 4).
6. Appendere la base del supporto alle viti (1) e (2) e avvitare
completamente le stesse. (fig. 5).
7. Completare il fissaggio inserendo anche la vite (3) (fig. 6).
8. Togliere il morsetto (7), collegarvi il cavo di alimentazione (6) e
riposizionare lo stesso. Fissare il pressacavo (8) con le apposite
viti. Vedere fig. 7 relativa al modello acquistato.

In caso di surriscaldamento per utilizzo improprio o apparecchio
difettoso, l’asciugacapelli si arresta automaticamente. Se questo
dovesse succedere, rilasciate immediatamente il pulsante
dell’asciugacapelli, spegnete l’interruttore del supporto a muro (se
presente nel modello acquistato) ed eliminatela causa del
surriscaldamento. L’apparecchio sarà di nuovo pronto per l‘uso
dopo averlo fatto raffreddare per alcuni minuti. Prima di ogni utilizzo
verificate che le griglie di entrata e di uscita dell’aria
dell’apparecchio siano perfettamente pulite. In caso di apparecchio
difettoso la riparazione deve essere eseguita esclusivamente da un
tecnico qualificato.
MANUTENZIONE
Quando l’asciugacapelli non viene usato, l’interruttore del supporto
a muro deve essere posizionato su “spento” (0). (solo per modelli
provvisti di interruttore)
L’apparecchio non richiede cure particolari.
Pulire l'apparecchio con un panno inumidito con acqua.
ATTENZIONE: È assolutamente vietata la pulizia dell'asciugacapelli
con detergenti, solventi, alcool e prodotti chimici vari.
Se necessario, pulite la griglia di entrata dell’aria con un pennello o
un aspirapolvere.
Questo apparecchio è conforme alle direttive europee
2004/108/CE, 2006/95/CE, 2009/125/CE ed al regolamento (CE)
N. 1275/2008.

durante il periodo di garanzia dovuti a comprovati difetti di

Modelo con toma de corriente para máquina de afeitar universal. Un
transformador de seguridad aísla el enchufe para la maquinilla de
afeitar de la instalación eléctrica y una protección impide la
utilización de aparatos con potencia superior a 20 VA.
Mod. 037S
Modelo con toma de corriente estándar europeo de 16 A.
Instalación del soporte de pared
Para garantizar su conformidad con las normas de seguridad
vigentes, la instalación debe ser realizada exclusivamente por un
técnico cualificado. El secador debe instalarse de forma que no
pueda ser utilizado desde la bañera o desde la ducha, ni siquiera
extendiendo al máximo el cable.
Existen dos modalidades posibles de instalación
A=conexión directa a la red de alimentación
B=conexión a la red de alimentación por medio de un cable exterior
Atención: antes de proceder al montaje, desconectar el
interruptor general de red.
Antes del aparato debe instalarse un interruptor con una apertura
entre contactos de al menos 3 mm por cada polo. Cada vez que se
abra el aparato, debe accionarse el interruptor para abrir el circuito.
Método A
(conexión directa a la red de alimentación)
Los cables de alimentación para el soporte de pared 037S deben
ser al menos 3x1,5 mm2.
Los cables de alimentación para el soporte de pared 037R, 037C,
037M deben ser al menos 2x1,0 mm2.
1. Para fijar a la pared la parte posterior del soporte, realice tres
orificios para los tornillos e introduzca los tacos (fig. 1).
2. En primer lugar, introduzca los tornillos (1) y (2) (fig. 2) de
forma que sobresalgan al menos 10 mm de los tacos.
3. Afloje el tornillo (4) y quite la tapa del soporte (fig. 3a)
4. Rompa la membrana de plástico (5) situada en la parte
posterior del soporte (fig. 4).
5. Introduzca el cable principal de alimentación que sale de la
pared (6) en el orificio (5) (fig. 4).
6. Cuelgue la base del soporte en los tornillos (1) y (2) y apriételos
a fondo (fig. 5).
7. Termine de fijar la base con el tornillo (3) (fig. 6)
8. Quite el borne (7), conecte el cable de alimentación (6) y
vuélvalo a colocar en su posición original. Fije el prensacable
(8) con los tornillos. Consulte la fig. 7 relativa al modelo
adquirido.
9. Los modelos 037R, 037C, 037M están provistos de doble
aislamiento y no necesitan puesta a tierra. En el modelo 037s
con enchufe estándar europeo, el conductor de tierra de la
instalación debe conectarse al borne (7). En este caso hay que
comprobar también que la instalación sea adecuada para una
carga de 16A.
10. Quite la regleta de conexiones (13). Conecte el cable de
alimentación (11) del secador de pelo con una corriente de
entrada máxima de 10A, si no está conectado, a la regleta de
conexiones (13); vuelva a colocar la regleta de conexiones
(13) y ajuste la abrazadera de cables (12) con sus propios
tornillos.
11. Coloque la tapa del soporte y fíjela con el tornillo (4) (fig. 3b).
12. Encienda el interruptor de corriente. Ahora es posible utilizar el
secador.
Método B
(sólo para los modelos 037C, 037M e 037R)
(conexión a la red de alimentación por medio de un cable
exterior)
El cable de alimentación debe ser como mínimo del tipo
H05VV-F2x1 mm2.
1. Para fijar a la pared la parte posterior del soporte, realice tres orificios
para los tornillos e introduzca los tacos (fig. 1) .
2. En primer lugar, introduzca los tornillos (1) y (2) (fig. 2) de forma que
sobresalgan al menos 10 mm de los tacos.
3. Afloje el tornillo (4) y quite la tapa del soporte (fig. 3a).
4. Introduzca el cable de conexión a la red de suministro eléctrico (9)
en el orificio (10), (fig. 8).
5. Quite el borne (7), conecte el cable de conexión a la red de
alimentación eléctrica (9) y vuélvalo a colocar en su posición original.
Fije el prensacable (8) con los tornillos. Consulte la fig. 7 relativa al
modelo adquirido.
6. Atención: aparato con aislamiento reforzado, no requiere toma de
tierra.
7. Quite la regleta de conexiones (13). Conecte el cable de alimentación
(11) del secador de pelo con una corriente de entrada máxima de
10A, si no está conectado, a la regleta de conexiones (13); vuelva a
colocar la regleta de conexiones (13) y ajuste la abrazadera de cables
(12) con sus propios tornillos.
8. Coloque la tapa del soporte y fíjela con el tornillo (4).(fig. 3b).
9. Conectar el interruptor de red: el secador está listo para su
utilización.

Termostato de seguridad
El secador se detiene automáticamente cuando es defectuoso o se
utiliza de forma inadecuada. Si esto ocurre, suelte inmediatamente
el botón de encendido del secador, apague el interruptor del
soporte (si lo hay) y elimine la causa de sobrecalentamiento.
Espere unos minutos hasta que el secador se enfríe, sólo entonces
podrá utilizarlo de nuevo. Asegúrese de que las rejillas de entrada y
salida de aire del aparato estén limpias antes de utilizarlo. Si el
aparato es defectuoso, deberá ser reparado exclusivamente por un
técnico cualificado.
MANTENIMIENTO
Cuando no se utilice el secador, el interruptor del soporte de pared
debe posicionarse en “apagado” (0) (sólo para modelos con
interruptor). El aparato no requiere ningún cuidado especial. Puede
limpiar el aparato con la ayuda de un paño húmedo con agua.
Está terminantemente prohibido limpiar los secadores de cabello
con detergentes, solventes, alcohol y productos químicos varios.
Si fuera necesario, limpiar la rejilla de entrada del aire con un pincel
o con el aspirador.
Este aparato es conforme a las directivas europeas 2004/108/CE,
2006/95/CE, 2009/125/CE y al reglamento (CE) N. 1275/2008.

• Gebruik het toestel niet als het een defect vertoont, als het
gevallen is of als de kabel beschadigd is.
• Probeer een elektrisch apparaat niet zelf te herstellen, maar wend
u tot een erkende hersteldienst.
• Mocht het elektrische snoer van dit toestel beschadigd worden,
dan moet die door de producent, door de erkende Technische
Dienst of door een geschoold technicus vervangen worden, om

Model met universele scheermachine. Een veiligheidstran sformator
isoleert de stekker van het scheerapparaat van de netspanning, en
de bescherming verhindert dat het toestel met een vermogen van
meer dan 20 VA kan worden gebruikt.
Model 037S
Model met Europese standaard-contactdoos 16 A.
Installatie van de muursteun
De installatie mag uitsluitend worden uitgevoerd door een
gekwalificeerd technicus, zodanig dat deze in overeenstemming is
met de geldende veiligheidsvoorschriften. De haardroger mag niet
bereikbaar zijn voor een persoon die gebruik maakt van het bad of
de douche, ook niet bij de maximale lengte van de kabel.
Er zijn twee verschillende installatiemethodes:
A=rechtstreeks aan het elektriciteitsnet verbinden
B=aan het elektriciteitsnet verbinden via een externe draad
Aandacht: zet de hoofdschakelaar van het elektriciteitsnet af
vóór u aan de montage begint.
Vóór het toestel moet een schakelaar worden geïnstalleerd waarvan
de contactpunten minimum 3mm per pool
wanneer het toestel wordt geopend, moet u de schakelaar
gebruiken om de stroomkring te openen.
Methode A
(rechtstreeks aan het elektriciteitsnet verbinden)
Muursteun model 037S vereist een voedingskabel van minimum
3x1,5 mm2.
De muursteunen model 037R, 037C, 037M vereisen een
voedingskabel van minimum 2x1,0 mm2.
1. Om het bovenste deel van de steun aan de muur te bevestigen
drie gaten boren voor de schroeven en hierin de bijbehorende
pluggen plaatsen (fig. 1).
2. Plaats eerst de schroeven (1) en (2) (fig. 2) en laat deze
minstens 10 mm uit de pluggen steken.
3.
Verwijder de afdekking van de muursteun door de schroef (4)
(fig. 3a).
4. Breek het kunststof plaatje (5) dat aan de achterkant van de
muursteun zit, weg. (fig. 4).
5. Steek de hoofdvoedingskabel die uit de muur komt (6) in het gat
ter hoogte van het opengemaakte plaatje (5). (fig. 4)
6. Hang de basis van de steun aan de schroeven (1) en (2) en
schroef deze helemaal in. (fig. 5).
7. Voltooi de bevestiging door ook de schroef (3) (fig. 6) te plaatsen.
8. Verwijder de klem (7), sluit er de voedingskabel (6) op aan en zet
de klem weer op zijn plaats. Bevestig de kabelklem (8) met de
daarvoor bedoelde schroeven. Zie fig. 7 die bij het aangeschafte.
9. De modellen 037R, 037C, 037M hebben een dubbele isolatie en
vereisen geen aarding. In model 037S met de Europese standaard-
contactdoos, moet de aardingsgeleider van het elektriciteitsnet aan
de klem (7) worden verbonden. In dat geval moet u ook nakijken of
het net voor een belasting van 16A voorzien is.
10. Verwijder de klemmenstrip (13). Sluit de stroomkabel (11) van
een haardroger met max. ingangsstroom van 10 A aan op de
klemmenstrip (13) (als dat nog niet gebeurd is). Breng de
klemmenstrip (13) opnieuw aan en draai de kabelbevestiging
(12) met de bijbehorende schroeven vast.
11. Bevestig de afdekking van de muursteun door de schroef (4) (fig. 3b).
12. Zet de hoofdschakelaar aan. De haardroger is klaar voor gebruik.
Methode B
(alleen voor modellen 037C, 037M e 037R)
(aansluiting aan het elektriciteitsnet via een externe kabel)
De voedingskabel moet minimum van het type H05VV-F 2x1 mm2zijn.
1. Om het bovenste deel van de steun aan de muur te bevestigen
drie gaten boren voor de schroeven en hierin de bijbehorende
pluggen plaatsen (fig. 1).
2. Plaats eerst de schroeven (1) en (2) (fig. 2) en laat deze
minstens 10 mm uit de pluggen steken.
3. Verwijder de afdekking van de muursteun door de schroef (4)
(fig. 3a) los te schroeven.
4. Steek het snoer voor de aansluiting op de netvoeding (9) in het
gat (10), (fig. 8).
5. Verwijder de klem (7), sluit er de voedingskabel (9) op aan en zet
de klem weer op zijn plaats. Bevestig de kabelklem (8) met de
daarvoor bedoelde schroeven. Zie fig. 7 die bij het aangeschafte
model hoort.
6. Let op: dit apparaat is voorzien van dubbele isolatie en heeft geen
aarding.
7. Verwijder de klemmenstrip (13). Sluit de stroomkabel (11) van
een haardroger met max. ingangsstroom van 10 A aan op de
klemmenstrip (13) (als dat nog niet gebeurd is). Breng de
klemmenstrip (13) opnieuw aan en draai de kabelbevestiging
(12) met de bijbehorende schroeven vast.
8. Bevestig de afdekking van de muursteun door de schroef
(4).(fig. 3b).
9. Zet de netschakelaar aan. De haardroger is klaar voor gebruik.

Veiligheidsthermostaat
In geval van oververhitting door onjuist gebruik of als het apparaat
defect is, wordt de haardroger automatisch uitgeschakeld. Indien dit
zou gebeuren, laat dan onmiddellijk de knop van de haardroger los,
zet de schakelaar op de muursteun uit (indien het aangeschafte
model hiermee is uitgerust) en verhelp de oorzaak van de
oververhitting. Het apparaat is weer klaar voor gebruik nadat u het
enkele minuten heeft af laten koelen. Controleer voor elk gebruik of
de luchtinlaat- en uitlaatroosters van het apparaat perfect schoon
zijn. Indien het apparaat defect is mag de reparatie uitsluitend
worden uitgevoerd door een gekwalificeerd technicus.
ONDERHOUD
Wanneer deze haardroger niet wordt gebruikt, moet de schakelaar
op de muursteun op UIT (0) gezet worden (alleen voor modellen
met schakelaar). Het toestel vereist geen bijzondere zorgen. Maak
het apparaat schoon met een met water bevochtigde doek.
LET OP: het is streng verboden om de föhn schoon te maken met
schoonmaakmiddelen, oplosmiddelen, alcohol en diverse
chemische producten.
Maak zo nodig het luchtinvoerrooster schoon met een penseel of
een stofzuiger.
Dit apparaat voldoet aan de Europese richtlijnen 2004/108/EG,
2006/95/EG, 2009/125/EG en aan de verordening (EG)
nr. 1275/2008.

dit product niet als huisafval mag worden behandeld. Het moet
echter naar een plaats worden gebracht waar elektrische en
elektronische apparatuur wordt gerecycled. Als u ervoor zorgt dat
dit product op de correcte manier wordt verwijderd, voorkomt u
mogelijk voor mens en milieu negatieve gevolgen die zich zouden
kunnen voordoen in geval van verkeerde afvalbehandeling. Voor
meer details in verband met het recyclen van dit product, neemt u
het best contact op met de gemeentelijke instanties, het bedrijf of
de dienst belast met het verwijderen van huishoudafval of de winkel
waar u het product hebt gekocht.

GARANTIE
Valera biedt volgende garantievoorwaarden:
1. Van toepassing zijn de garantievoorwaarden die door onze
officiële distributeur in het land van aankoop zijn vastgesteld. In
Zwitserland en in de landen waar de Europese richtlijn 44/99/CE
van kracht is, geldt een garantieperiode van 24 maanden bij
huishoudelijk gebruik en van 12 maandenbij professioneel of
soortgelijk gebruik. De garantieperiode loopt vanaf de
aankoopdatum van het apparaat. De aankoopdatum is de datum
die staat op dit volledig ingevulde en door de verkoper
gestempelde garantiebewijs of op de aankoopbon.
2. De garantie is enkel van toepassing na voorlegging van het
certificaat of het bewijs van aankoop.
3. De garantie dekt het verwijderen van bewezen materiaal- of
fabricagefouten, tijdens de garantie- periode. Dit kan gebeuren
door reparatie of vervanging van het toestel. De garantie is niet
van toepassing in geval van schade door aansluiting op een
netwerk dat niet aan de officiële normen voldoet, noch in geval
van niet naleven van de gebruiksaanwijzing.
4. Elke andere schadeclaim van welke aard dan ook is uitgesloten,
in het bijzonder terugbetaling van schade veroorzaakt door
externe factoren, buiten degenen die uitdrukkelijk bepaald zijn
door de van kracht zijnde wetgeving.
5. De garantie-service is gratis. Deze vertegenwoordigt geen enkele
verlenging noch vernieuwing van de garantie periode.
6. De garantie vervalt indien het toestel vervalst is of gerepareerd
werd door een niet erkende persoon.
In geval van defect, gelieve het toestel behoorlijk verpakt, samen
met het garantiebewijs (gedateerd en voorzien van de stempel van
de verkoper) terug te sturen naar één van de officiële Service
Centra, of te bezorgen aan de winkel waar het toestel werd
aangekocht. Zij zullen het nodige doen om uw toestel onder garantie
te laten herstellen.

• ATENŢIE: nu utilizaţi acest aparat în apropierea
căzilor, a chiuvetelor sau a altor recipiente care
conţin apă.
• Acest aparat poate fi utilizat de copii începând cu
vârsta de 8 ani şi de persoane cu capacităţi fizice,
senzoriale sau mentale reduse, sau de persoane
lipsite de experienţă şi de cunoştinţe,
